Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets – Just A Little Reminder…

Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets – Just A Little Reminder…

I hope everyone is having a beautiful Fall weekend wherever you may live and that members of our CNCK and AIK are having a fun stampin’ weekend retreat in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia.  It is certainly a beautiful time to be enjoying the beauty God created for us to enjoy. I can’t wait to see all the beautiful cards being created at this retreat.  Have a great weekend everyone.  I believe I saw on the weather that there is snow (much too soon) in some states so I know it is cold.  I love Fall when the weather is perfect here in Georgia.

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set along with Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.

This is the stamp set and Designer Series Paper used in creating my card.  It is available for demonstrators to pre-order until November 1, 2022, when it will be available for customers to purchase.  The stamp set and dies will carry over to the 2023 January-June Mini Catalog.

I am entering the Seize the Birthday Challenge as my card is for a birthday.

I am going to list the card cuts first so you will know how to put the card together.

  • Night of Navy card stock
    • card base — 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ scored & folded at 4-1/4″
    • flap — 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ scored at 1″
  • Balmy Blue card stock
    • front mat & inside front – 2-1/2″ x 5-3/8″ cut 2
    • flap outside & inside side — 2-7/8″ x 3-7/8″
    • inside sentiment panel mat — 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
  • Fitting Floral Designer Series Paper
    • card front & inside — 2-1/4″ x 5-1/4″
    • flap inside — 2-3/4 x 3-3/4″
  • Basic White card stock
    • front art panel — 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
    • inside sentiment panel — 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″

On the Basic White pieces stamp flowers from Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set. On the one for the front panel stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set on the piece for the inside stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Potted Geraniums stamp set.  The inside Basic White piece is also cropped using a die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies. The dots around the flowers are from Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern stamp set and stamped in Memento Black ink, stamped off once.

Adhere adhesive (I used Tear & Tape) to the 1″ flat of the 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ and center it on the Balmy Blue card stock mat that is in the middle section of the card and measures 4-18″ x 5-/8″.  Add a  length of ribbon to the card base before adding the flap and Balmy Blue mat to the card base. Add the Balmy Blue mat to the inside and outside of the now 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4 Night of Navy flap. Adhere the 2-1/2″ x 5-3/8″ Balmy Blue mats to the front fold and inside of the front fold. Add the Framed Florets Designer Series Paper over each mat except the middle section and the outside of the Night of Navy flap.  These two sections get Basic White layers for the art piece and the sentiment inside.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Framed Florets Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

  1. I am away and having troubles using my IPad to make comments so I am going to try this again. LOL. As for your gorgeous floral Birthday card it is very pretty. I love Blue and think the mix of papers and images colored it just perfect. Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday!

    1. Nancy thank you so much for taking your precious time to stop by and leave me a comment. I appreciate it so much.

  2. Something about the color blue that is so soothing and beautiful, in my opinion that is. This is such a pretty Birthday card, Shirley! Thanks for being with us at Seize the Birthday.
