Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn
The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn stamp set, Flowering Tulips stamp set, Autumn Bouquet Dies, Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, and Wonderful World Designer Series Paper.
I am joining the As You See It Challenge as one of my challenges for the day. I love their theme for this week as it includes one of my favorites, watercoloring.
I am also entering the Tic Tac Toe Challenge — I chose Die Cut, Free, and Embossing.
I started with a Basic White card base with a panel of the same embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
Flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn Stamp Set is stamped in Stazon Ink on a Basic White panel, dried with the heat tool to make sure the ink would not smear during watercoloring the flowers. I use Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Old Olive, Poppy Parade, Soft Suede stamp pads for the ink. I used a Stampin’ Block to put ink on and a water painter as the brush. Two of the flowers and the berries are colored using Poppy Parade ink, though they are different colors. One of the flowers is colored using Crush Curry ink. The leaves are colored using Old Olive and Garden Green ink. The acorns are colored using Crumb Cake and Soft Suede ink.
A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn stamp set is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and cropped with a die from the Autumn Bouquet Dies. A strip of Wonderful World Designer Series Paper is cut. Now all the elements are ready for assembly. They are adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals. A length of Crumb Cake Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack is adhered behind the greeting and the greeting is then popped on using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Rhinestone Basic Jewels are colored using a Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker and popped around the card front.
A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. Flowers like the ones on the card front are adhered in the corner using Multipurpose Glue and the panel is then adhered to the card base.
A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Wonderful World Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Shirley, you’ve done such a beautiful job of your watercolouring, so precise and such lovely colours! The addition of the texture is a great touch and that curving sentiment finishes it off beautifully! Thanks for cooking up our recipe at As You See It Challenges!

What a beauty, Shirley! The DSP really brings out the colours of your bright bouquet. The addition of texture is a really nice touch – especially since you’ve used my favourite folder. 🙂
