Stampin’ Up! Bonanza Buddies

Stampin’ Up! Bonanza Buddies

Happy Monday everyone to another soggy, wet day in Georgia.  I think I may have to buy a rowboat.  I hope your day is going fantastic so far.

The card featured is a new to me stamp set.  It is from the Stampin’ Up! Jan.-June 2020 Mini Catalog — Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set.  It was probably created with making children’s’ cards in mind, but I think with the right paper and design you can use for adult cards.

I have two challenges that inspired by design and layout for today.

Try Stamping on Tuesday with this cute heart design.

And…

Sunday Stamps Challenge with this cute design featuring Tag You’re It.

I’ve done a combination of both so I can use both designs.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock card base, add a panel of Terracotta Tile card stock which I forgot to emboss using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

Cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock to use as a base for the following.  From the Stampin’ Up! Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper and  See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper cut narrow strips that you will glue on the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  You can see the DSP’s used below.

Once you have all the strips glued down allow the panel to dry for a short while so all the strips will be adhered well.  After drying crop with a Stampin’ Up! Rectangle Stitched Die.  I believe I used the next to the largest die.  A small strip was left after I cropped the panel so you will see it on the sentiment panel.

Crop your tags using the Stampin’ Up! Tag Topper Punch and Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile and Daffodil Delight card stock.  Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Twine in Grapefruit Grove was used to make the frayed knots at the top of the tag along with a bit of Stampin’ Up1 Braided Line Trim.

Using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine Dies, a heart is cropped from the Stampin’ Up! Birthday Bonanza DSP and popped on the tag.  An extra little bear is fussy cut and popped over the one on the heart using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.  This gives a bit more dimension to the card.

The greeting from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Lace Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and then the words are snipped apart so adhering to the tag is made easier.

Stamp your sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White card stock using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.  The piece that was cropped from the focal panel is adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue  around the right edge and lower portion of the panel.

Give a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope a panel of the Birthday Bonanza DSP to the envelope flap, add 3 of the fussy cut little bears that scrapped to the edge of the flap and the project is finished.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!
