Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Birthday Card

Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Birthday Card

The card I am sharing today is one we created this past weekend during the OnStage at Home event.  I would have posted yesterday, but my WordPress crashed and had to be repaired.  It is created using the new stamp set that will be available in the 2022 January-June Mini Catalog.  The stamp set is called Blessings of Home.  I remade it so I could tweak it a bit, I suppose the one we made was for a beginning stamper.

The first challenge I am joining today is Addicted to Stamps and More — Birthdays

The other one is Seize the Birthday — Anything Goes.

Start with a card base of Garden Green card stock.  I added the Basic White mat as the original had the DSP as the next layer, no mat.

Using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Stamp Set, the flowers are stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White card stock.  Using a sponge dauber and the Misty Moonlight ink, the flowers are lightly colored, then cropped and popped on the card front placing the Stampin’ Dimensionals at the top and bottom (a tip from OnStage at Home) so when the greeting is put on it helps with the bulkiness.

I cropped sprigs using the Flowers of Home Dies from Basic White and Garden Green card stock, I also used a branch die from the Intricate Leaves Dies.  These sprigs and branches were placed around the flowers.  A greeting from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, trimmed, and added to the length of the Jeans ribbon.  Several Pearl Basic Jewels are popped around the card front.  The card we made at OnStage at Home had only the flowers and greeting so you can see I have added a bit to the scene.

A Basic White card stock panel is stamped with more flowers from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set, then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A birthday message will be written in the blank space.

A medium white envelope has flowers stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on the envelope flap using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Stamp Set.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are at the end of this post.

  1. Lovely birthday card. I’m liking the lighter floral image against the green patterned paper background. The die cut sprigs and branches add a nice texture to your card. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to Stamps and More!
