Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Thistle with Dainty Flowers Dies — Thinking of You
The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Thistle stamp set, Dainty Flowers Dies and an embossing folder from Basic 3D Dies.
I am entering Cardz 4 Galz Challenge today. Their theme for this challenge is Spring Flowers.
I am also entering the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I choose down the right side.
My design inspiration comes from the sketch design for the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.
I started with Starry Sky card stock for my card base. To this I added a panel of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I cut a piece of Basic White card stock and embossed using a die from Basic 3D Dies. I matted the piece on a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock. I popped this onto the card front over two short pieces of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper added at the top and bottom of the Rich Razzleberry mat using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I die cut the daisies and vine from Pear Pizzazz card stock and Rich Razzleberry card stock using dies from Stampin’ Up! Dainty Flowers Dies. These are adhered to the embossed piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A butterfly is die cut from a piece of Basic White card stock using a die from Brilliant Wings Dies and colored with Pear Pizzazz and Rich Razzleberry ink using a Blending Brush. It is popped on the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional. Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped on the flowers and butterfly, three are popped in the upper corner of the card. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Thistle stamp set is stamped in Rich Razzlelberry ink on a Basic White scrap, fussy cut and matted on a scrap of Rich Razzleberry card stock which is also fussy then popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A panel of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper is adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card base. A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Thistle stamp set is stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink. Flowers and vine are identical to the ones on the card front.
A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
