Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves — Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves — Thinking of You

My card I am sharing today, is the final one that was shared at our Team Meeting on Sunday.  This is my version of the card  demonstrated by Tara Carpenter, a fellow team mate.  Her card is below.  I used Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Dies, Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessings stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Thistle stamp set, this one may be retired. I used it for the greeting.

This is Tara’s card.

I am entering the Cardz 4 Galz Challenge.  Their theme for this challenge is leaves.

I am also entering Can You Handle The Pressure? their theme is always embossing, sometimes with a twist and the twist for this one is trees.  My card only has the things that grow on trees, leaves.

I started with a Very Vanilla card base, with a panel of the same embossed using the Timbers 3D Embossing Folder, a length of ribbon from Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack is wrapped around the panel and  adhered on the back using tape. It is then matted to a panel of Cajun Craze cardstock.  It will be adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card base once the card front is finished.

I stamped and die cut leaves using Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set & Dies. They are die cut from Mango Melody, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla card stock. I also used 2023-2025 In Color Luster Specialty Paper and All About Autumn Designer Series Paper.  A circle is die cut using the largest circle die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  The circle is popped over the ribbon. The leaves are arranged around the circle and a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Thistle stamp set is stamped in Cajun Craze ink on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock.  The greeting is die cut using a die from Autumn Leaves Dies.  2023-2025 In Color Dots are popped around the card front.  The card front is finally adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessings stamp set is stamped in Cajun Craze ink on a Very Vanilla panel.  The panel is matted to a piece of Cajun Craze card stock, the adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Surprise!  This is a fun fold also.  It is again, like my card earlier this week, a reverse easel fun fold.  This time card is great for the group of “youngsters” that I send cards to. They like to display the cards so this one is great for them.

This is a side view of the card.  It also shows the two leaves at the bottom of the inside panel used as the stop for the easel.

A Very Vanilla envelope get a panel of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!
