Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves — Thankful

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves — Thankful

The card I am sharing today is another one that a team member, Judi Hartbarger demonstrated for us during our Team Meeting on Sunday.  This card is my version of her card.  I tweaked it a bit to make it a little different.

I am entering 613 Avenue Create Challenge.  Their theme is Purely Anything Goes.

This is a picture of Judi’s card on the left. I forgot to include Rosie’s card yesterday in my post so here is a picture of it also on the right.  You can click on the picture and it will take you to yesterday’s post of my card.

We used the same pattern of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper, but I used Copper Clay cardstock as my mat and Judi used Moody Mauve cardstock.  Amazing, isn’t it how the change in color of mats changes the look of the card?  I did not have Moody Mauve card stock so I used Cooper Clay clay instead.

I started with a Very Vanilla card stock card base, with mats of Copper Clay card stock for all the layers added to the card base. Both pieces of designer series paper are from All About Autumn Designer Series Paper but different patterns as you can see.  There are so many beautiful patterns in this package of 6′ x 6″ designer series paper.  I stamped in Copper Clay ink a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set on the Very Vanilla piece, added the banner of leaves across the card, embossed the lower portion of the piece using Timeworn Tile 3D Embossing Folder, then added the leaves die cut from pieces of Copper Clay and Moody Mauve from 2023-2025 In Color 12″ x 12″ Luster Specialty Paper.  Adhesive Back Sparkle Gems are popped around the card front.  A bow is made using twine from Linen Thread and popped in the middle of the leaves.

Once the card front is finished, it is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  This is a reverse easel card.  That’s the little tweak, I spoke about it earlier. A piece of the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is matted to a piece of  Copper Clay card stock and adhered to the card base.  A leaf is added to the bottom as the stop for the easel.

This is a side view of the card.

After I write a note, the Very Vanilla card stock piece will be adhered to the inside panel at the top of the panel so as not to show when the card is in the easel position.

A Very Vanilla envelope get a panel of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!
