Today Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden and Touched My Heart Stamp Sets are featured. The Designer Series Paper is Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery DSP. The die-cut heart is from Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine dies.

Challenge for today is Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.

And

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock card stock base with a background panel from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery DSP that has been matted using a panel of Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz card stock.

Add a small panel of Pretty Peacock card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, mat this embossed panel using Pear Pizzazz card stock. A banner is popped over this panel and has a full mat of Pear Pizzazz and a partial mat of Pretty Peacock card stock. Ribbon and twine are swirled behind the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine die-cut Whisper White heart with a greeting stamped in Pretty Peacock ink from Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden Stamp Set. Add three rhinestones from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels and your card front is finished.

The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden and Touched My Heart Stamp Sets is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz in on a panel of Whisper White card stock. Two Pear Pizzazz stems of leaves cropped from Stampin’ Up! Sunflower Dies is added to the upper and lower portions of the Whisper White panel.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White medium-sized envelope get a panel of the Forever Greenery DSP added to the envelope flap and your project is finished.

Happy Monday everyone! Was your weekend everything you wanted it to be? Fun, tiring, exciting? May your Monday be Monday and your workweek starts the beginning of a fabulous week.

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful Stamp Set and Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, Whale of A Time Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the Subtle Embossing Folder. This is going to be a birthday card for my youngest sister, the happy birthday is missing inside. I want to handwrite it in huge letters when I send it to her.

My challenge for the day is with Watercooler Wednesday Anything Goes.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock with a panel of Whisper White that has been watercolored with splashes of Stampin’ Up! Pool Party and Garden Green ink and a Stampin’ Up! Water Painter. After letting dry, the tree from Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake ink. Then the panel is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

A panel of Stampin’ Up! Whale of A Time DSP is adhered to the middle of the embossed panel over the stamped tree, a tree is then stamped in Crumb Cake ink on the panel matching up the branches that can be seen on each side of the Whale Of A Time DSP panel. The birdhouse is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Real Red ink. The three leaves on the ground at the tree base are Stampin’ Up! Pumpkin Pie ink. A double piece of Stampin’ Up! Braided Trim is tied in a knot and popped on the tree.

The greeting from Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Crumb Cake ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and trimmed to be three pieces so they can be positioned on the tree the way you see.

The sentiment from Life Is Beautiful and Positive Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped on a panel of Whisper White card stock using Crumb Cake ink. The panel has been color washed using Pool Party and Garden Green inks. The trees are stamped in Crumb Cake ink.

Happy Sunday everyone! Are you having a nice weekend enjoying the cool fall air? Our team had a great time on Saturday celebrating World Card Making Day! Our team leaders did a fantastic job of organizing the event and getting other demonstrators to present. The entire team did such a fantastic job. If you joined us, you know what I am talking about. If you couldn’t make it this year, maybe you can next but I believe the videos are available for a few days so you can watch them.

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful Stamp Set, Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, Peaceful Moments Stamp Set and the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Pool Party card stock with a mat that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Seabed 3D Embossing Folder. When you want an embossed panel on the front, it is much easier to emboss a separate panel of card stock or it is for me. I was always messing up the front of the card when I embossed and Amy Koenders told her Inkin’ Krew this tip and it works wonders. Mary Deatherage reminded us again about this easy method today during our World Card Making Day event.

Cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whale Of A Time DSP and slice it horizontally at an angle. This gives you the design for the front of the card and is from the Inspire, Create Challenge. After you adhere the DSP to the embossed panel, mat this panel using Stampin’ Up! Granny Apple Green cardstock. Adhere your ribbon across the two sections of the card front. Lastly, adhere your focal panel to the Pool Party card base.

My inspiration comes from the Inspire, Create Challenge.

Craftyhazelnut’s Pattern Paper Challenge. I am using Stampin’ Up! Whale Of A Time Designer Series Paper (DSP)

The sentiment from the following Stampin’ Up! Stamp Sets Life Is Beautiful, Sending Sunshine, and Peaceful Moment is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock. Several of the turtles have been fussy cut and adhered to the panel. The panel is then matted on a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock and adhered to the card base.

As soon as envelopes from Stampin’ Up! arrive an envelope flap will have a panel of the Whale Of A Time DSP adhered so my card can be on its way to the person intended.

Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air

Happy chilly Wednesday! It is starting out to be a really chilly day, think of me as all my fall and winter clothes are in storage — but I did keep a sweater out for restaurants and the like, so I am thankful for that. Hope your day goes well and you accomplish all your heart desires.

My card featured today is created using Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air Stamp Set and the Majestic Mountain Dies. This is a card I made for my grandson’s birthday. It has been birthday week around here — three in a week. This card is a CAS(E) of Tami Hewlett’s card. You can see her card here. I loved her sky on this card and it inspired me to want to make it.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. The wood grain looking mat I created by stamping a panel of Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake card stock with the wood grain stamp using Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks. I believe the stamp is retired but as I did not have the DSP that has the wood grain in it I had to make my own. I wanted it embossed with the Stampin’ Up! Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder, but as it is in storage, I had to make do with the Stampin’ Up! Take Your Pick tool, using the large stylus and the paper trimmer. I was careful not to press too hard with the stylus and make a hole in the card stock. I thought it turned out rather nice.

To create the sky and mountains I started with a panel of Stampin’ Up! Thick Whisper White card stock and I followed Tami Hewett’s instruction and you can also here. I had several tries before I was satisfied with the way the sky looked.

Tami’s instructions are great for creating the trees and watercoloring. There is always a remedy for a goof-up and that is why there are two rows of trees, where Tami has only one. I used up some of my stash of Whisper White scraps in creating the trees and the mountains.

My little Meerkat is stamped in the right corner using the retired Stampin; Up! The Gang’s All Meer Stamp Set. I could find no other litte creature that would fit that corner and as much as I try to not use retired products, I just had to in order to get the effect I was looking to create. I cute a tiny triangle from a scrap of DSP for his mask. I used my computer to create the greeting. I know I have a stamp somewhere with that greeting but impossible to find at the moment.

The sentiments from Stampin’ Up!’s Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set and Sending Sunshine Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. A tree like the ones on the card front is placed in the lower right corner.

World Card Making Day is 3 October!

Everyone likes to know that they are important to someone, sending cards are a great way to show that someone they are special. A friend may be going through a rough time, a handmade card is a way to lift their spirits and show you care.

Stampin’ Up! Prized Posey

Happy rainy Tuesday from Georgia. You would think we have been relocated to the Pacific Northwest with all the rain. I understand they have not had much rain this year. These rainy days are good for card making along with a cup of hot tea.

The card today is featuring Stampin’ Up! Prized Peony Stamp Set. This is a beautiful stamp set, would you not agree? The lighting is not too great for this card, all my Stampin’ “stuff” is still in storage and we are just wandering nomads for now.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock. Then a mat of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Seabed 3D Embossing Folder. Next comes a panel of Stampin’ Up! Flowers For Every Season 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper that has been matted using Night of Navy DSP.

The peonies have been stamped in Stampin’ Up! Smoky Slate ink and then colored using Stampin’ Up! Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends and Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. Because of the lighting look at the difference in the two images, the Flirty Flamingo peonies look darker in one of them.

A small bow created using Stampin’ Up! Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon colored with a Stampin’ Up! Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend an ironed to get the wrinkles out. The greeting is stamped on a scrap of Whisper White DSP using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.
