Stampin’ Up! Ornate Garden with Quite Curvy & Dragonfly Garden

Another week is about to be off and running are you ready for it? Did you hate dragging out of bed when the alarm disturbed your sleep?

Today I am featuring the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper, along with the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Stamp Set.

My design inspirations is the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

A simple card for today, no bling or bows. Start with a card base of Stampin’ Up! Bumblebee card stock. Cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Old Olive card stock for the background for your Stampin’ Up! Ornate Garden DSP pieces.

Adhere the Ornate Garden DSP pieces to the Old Olive card stock panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Position your Old Olive card stock panel on your card base but do not adhere yet. This is so you will know where to stamp your greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy stamp set in Old Olive ink. After stamping the greeting pop the Old Olive panel on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp the dragonfly from the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Stampin’ Up! Mint Macaron ink on a scrap of Stampin’ Up! Mint Macaron card stock. Pop on the corner of the Ornate Garden panel.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness stamp set and the Itty Birthday stamp set is stamped in Old Olive ink on the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock panel that has artwork on the left side that resembles the card front.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope has dragonflies from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set stamped in Old Olive ink on the front and back of the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Dreams Sneak Peek

Happy Friday everyone! I know you are looking forward to the weekend unless you are working. Have a great weekend working or not!

I used the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set (this is a sneak peek, it will be available January 3, 2021, in the new Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Mini Catalog) and the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy stamp set which is soon-to-be-available (but only for a LIMITED time!) Can you believe 2021 is just around the corner? Here hoping for a much better 2021 than 2020 has been.

My inspiration is from Catch the Bug Blog — Stella Says Sketch 817

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Misty Moonlight card stock base. No embossing for today’s card or die cuts, my Big Shot went on to it’s great rewards and the new one has not arrived, so I am back to the days before embossing was popular.

Cut panels of Stampin’ Up! Bumblebee card stock for your mats. Cut a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Gardens Designer Series Paper (DSP) and mat to one of the Bumblebee mats then adhere to the Misty Moonlight card base. Cut a different pattern of the DSP and place it over the first panel. Cut a 1/4″ strip of another and adhere across the top of the Bumblebee panel.

On a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock stamp in Tuxedo Memento Black ink the flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set. Color the flowers using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends markers in Mango Melody and Mossy Meadow. Add rhinestones from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Stamp the greeting from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink on the lower right corner of the card base.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy stamp set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. Flowers from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set are stamped in Mossy Meadow also.

A Stampin’ Up! Medium Size Envelope has a panel of the Dandy Garden DS adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style Bundle

It is a cool Fall day here. Hope that everyone is having a nice cool sunny day also and that your weekend goes super great, no glitches along the way, just a fun relaxing day.

The Stampin’ Up products featured today in the card I am sharing is the Ornate Border Dies, the Celebrate Sunflower Bundle, and the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).

My inspiration for the design comes from the Try Stampin On Tuesday Challenge.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake card base. On that base will be layered a panel of Crumb Cake embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. This panel will be popped on with Stampin’ Dimensionals after all the other elements are layered onto it.

Cut three strips of the different Ornate Garden DSP and layer over the embossed panel. Cut a panel and bannerize (is that a word?) it. I could use the banner punch but it is just as easy to do it with snips. This banner is popped over the three strips using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The flowers are cropped from a scrap of Whisper White card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Border Dies. They are then colored using a Sponge Dauber and Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry Stampin’ Up! Classic Ink Pads. The leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set are stamped on a scrap of Garden Green card stock and cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Sunflower Dies that is part of the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle. The white circle is cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies and is stamped in Memento Black Ink with a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Life is Beautiful Stamp Set. The flowers and leaves are then popped on the circle, a Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread bow is added under one of the Stampin’ Up! Basic Pearl Jewels.

The sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake on the panel of Crumb Cake card stock. It is then embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. If you wish to write a note, I suppose it will have to be written on the back of the card as the entire panel is embossed making writing a note difficult.

A Stampin’ Up! Medium size envelope is embossed on the envelope flap of the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Thank You!

Happy Monday all, I am hoping for a sunny day here today. I hope everyone had a nice weekend.

This is not the card intended for today, you were going to see a card created using Stampin’ Up!’s new Quite Curvy Stamp Set but since we all need a little sunshine, I decided to share Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set. It makes a cheery and bright card. At the time I made this I could not find my package of Stampin’ Up! Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper (DSP) so I made a strip to use. I think it turned out rather nice.

inspiration for today comes from Cute Card Thursday – Dies and Punches is the theme.And…

Watercooler Wednesday–WWC292- Dawn’s Challenge: Anything Goes With a Feminine Twist.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Layers Dies for the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White panel behind the sunflower. The sunflower is stamped using Stampin’ Up! Crushed Curry ink on a panel of Crushed Curry card stock. The veins of the sunflower are cropped from a panel of Stampin’ Up! So Saffron card stock using the vein sunflower die from Stampin’ Up! Sunflower Dies.

I used a strip of Whisper White card stock to create my DSP using the small sunflower in the Celebrate Sunshine Stamp Set. I used the pen tip of a Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker to make the dots on the card stock and a white gel pen (non-Stampin’ Up!) to make the white dots. This DSP is what you can call paper piecing as I pieced many bits together to get the right look. The leaves of the large sunflower are stamped on Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce card stock using Shaded Spruce ink.

There is no inside sentiment as this is a thank you card and I want to write a note.

Today Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden and Touched My Heart Stamp Sets are featured. The Designer Series Paper is Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery DSP. The die-cut heart is from Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine dies.

Challenge for today is Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.

And

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock card stock base with a background panel from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery DSP that has been matted using a panel of Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz card stock.

Add a small panel of Pretty Peacock card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, mat this embossed panel using Pear Pizzazz card stock. A banner is popped over this panel and has a full mat of Pear Pizzazz and a partial mat of Pretty Peacock card stock. Ribbon and twine are swirled behind the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine die-cut Whisper White heart with a greeting stamped in Pretty Peacock ink from Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden Stamp Set. Add three rhinestones from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels and your card front is finished.

The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden and Touched My Heart Stamp Sets is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz in on a panel of Whisper White card stock. Two Pear Pizzazz stems of leaves cropped from Stampin’ Up! Sunflower Dies is added to the upper and lower portions of the Whisper White panel.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White medium-sized envelope get a panel of the Forever Greenery DSP added to the envelope flap and your project is finished.
