Stampin’ Up! Christmastime is Here

Happy Thursday everyone. My Stampin’ Up! Christmastime is Coming Stamp Bundle finally arrived! I think the excitement of it has worn off a bit I have had to wait so long. So guess what my stamp set I am using to create my card today?

My challenge for the day is with Watercooler Wednesday Marsha’s “All About Occasions” Challenge.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow card stock with a mat of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Two strips have been cut from the soon to be released Stampin’ Up! Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper and adhered down the left side of the embossed panel. Before adhering to the embossed panel a little filigree flourish from the Christmastime Suite is adhered to the red strip and a gold ribbon from the same is adhered down the middle of the two strips. Several pearls from the Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels are randomly placed on the card front. The greeting on the label is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set and the greeting on the card front is from the Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set.

My Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope got a panel of the Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper adhered to the flap.

Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane

My card today is simple. If you learned to cut in kindergarten then you can make this card. You know there is a book out there titled, ” All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.”😊 The card is all cutting except the greeting and sentiment. It is created using Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink card stock. You can see the card cuts at the end of this post.

The challenge I am entering today is with Inspire. Create.

The art panel has a petal of a flower fussy cut to extend beyond the art panel and a flower fussy cut and adhered to the panel so the leaves would extend beyond the top of the panel. The Mossy Meadow panel is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder and then adhered to the Petal Pink card base. The art panel with the Petal Pink mat is adhered over the Mossy Meadow panel after a ribbon from Stampin’ Up! 5/8″ Organdy Petal Pink ribbon is wrapped around the art panel. Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Baker’s Twine is wrapped around the middle of the ribbon three times and adhered in the back of the art panel with Glue Dots. A bow is made with the twine and adhered to the middle of the twine with Glue Dots.

The greeting from Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink on a small scrap of Whisper White card stock, trimmed and adhered to the front of the card using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped an inside sentiment on both panels as you can see. The panel on the left’s sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and the one on the right is a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin. You are always free to use any sentiment message you like. I like the sentiment on the right for sympathy cards and use it often.

To finish my project, I gave a Whisper White envelope a panel of the DSP and fussy cut a flower and adhered it to the right front corner of the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals

Happy Sunday! I hope you are having a fabulous day and you can add one more day to your weekend. Many can not and we thank them! Can you believe it is already September 1, 2019? Time for a whole new plan to begin!

My card for today is from Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals Stamp Set. It receives a bit of help from Stampin Up! Waterfront Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Stamp Set. To me, this is not my usual card style, design or whatever you want to call it.

My challenge is with Freshly Made Sketches 400 and they have a great sketch for this challenge. I hope to see your post there. Happy 400th Sketch Celebration!

My card base is Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals background for the art piece. The art piece is matted with a panel of Basic Black card stock also.

The art panel is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock and an image from the Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals is stamped on it using Stampin’ Up! Classic Stamp Pads in Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, and Highland Heather. The speckles are from a stamp in the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront Stamp Set and are stamped on the panel so it will not look so stark.

Adhesive Back Sequins are placed randomly on the art piece and a pearl from the Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels are popped in the center of each along with pearls being popped in the center of two of the flowers.

A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Stamp Set is stamped on a scrap of Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz card stock flagged at each end and popped onto a banner created using Stampin’ Up! Soft Seafoam card stock.

The inside sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals Stamp Set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock that is matted on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz card stock then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish, I stamped an image from the Path of Petals stamp sent on the envelope flap in Pear Pizzazz ink.

Stampin’ Up! Woven Threads

In creating the card I am sharing today, Stampin’ Up! Woven Threads Designer Series Paper (DSP) is the focal point. I have not used this DSP before and never really given it a good look. It has some lovely designs and colors. I noticed that all the Stampin’ Up! 2019-2021 In- Colors are represented in this DSP. I’ve added the rose from the April 2019 Paper Pumpkin Inspirational Rose stamp set. It matches the rose in the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Stamp Set.

My challenge for the day is with Sketch Saturday.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile card stock. There are two mats that are Stampin’ Up! Seaside Spray card stock and one that is Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile card stock. All pieces are adhered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The Seaside Spray panel with the Rose is popped on using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I’ve added a bow made from Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread to rose. The rose was stamped on the Seaside Spray panel using Seaside Spray ink, then another rose was stamped and fussy cut and popped over the one stamped on the panel. A leaf was stamped using Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock ink. 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dots are randomly placed on the card front.

The inside sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. A small panel of the Woven Threads DSP is adhered at the bottom of the sentiment panel and then the panel is matted on a panel of Seaside Spray cardstock and adhered to the card base.

In finishing, I adhered a panel of the DSP to the envelope flap to coordinate with the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad joins Rustic Retreat and Dandelion Wishes

Happy Wednesday! Downhill to the weekend after you get over the hump!

The card I am sharing today is quite simple. It is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set.

My challenge for the day is with CAS(E) this Sketch.

The base is one of the new in-colors for this year– Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile card stock. The next layer is a half-panel of the Terracotta Tile embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

There is a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock mat for the focal panel which is a panel from Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. All these panels are adhered together using Liquid Glue. A length of Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon was cut and adhered to a scrap of Basic Black card stock and then adhered to the focal panel using Liquid Glue. The birds are fussy cut from another panel of the Bird Ballad DSP and adhered to the focal panel using Liquid Glue. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set and is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake ink on a scrap of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.

The inside sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set stamped in Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock that has been decorated with strips from the same panel of DSP that the focal point is cut. This panel is adhered to the card base using Liquid Glue.

In finishing my card project, I decorated the flat of a medium-size Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Envelope with the DSP that coordinates with the focal panel on the card front. The lower right corner of the envelope front was decorated also.
