The card I am sharing today is one my great-granddaughter did the artwork on. She saw me making a card with the embossed image and wanted to do one of her own. When I tried to show her how to watercolor it, (she is 4 yrs. old) her response was ( be ready for a good laugh) “GG everyone is an individual and everyone has their own ideas how to do something, so GG I am doing it this way and my card is going to be fabulous.” These are the exact words of a 4-year-old. Where did she get that wisdom?🙂

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! How is everyone doing in this crazy world we are living in for now? Are you Irish, how are you celebrating? I think celebrations will be limited with all the closings.
The card for today is created using Stampin’ Up! Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper. As you can see from the pictures this is beautiful paper.
One of the challenges entered today is As You See It Challenge — My Favorite Type of Card to Send. I like sending any card that gives encouragement to the recipient may it be a Thinking of You, Birthday, Get Well and other. I always feel the recipient feels a bit encouraged when they receive a card. They know someone is thinking of them.
Start with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock base and a background panel of the same that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.
The blossoms from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper are fussy cut and then watercolored using Stampin’ Up! Melon Mambo Classic Ink, Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink, Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Markers in Light & Dark Balmy Blue. It is amazing the different tints you can make from one color when you add water. For the buds, Melon Mambo was used full strength, to get the pink of the blossoms water was added to the Melon Mambo ink to obtain the color I wanted. The same is true of the Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink.
The greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a small scrap of Melon Mambo card stock at adhered to the bottom of the Stampin’ Up! Coastal Weave Embossed panel. Three Stampin’ Up! Noble Peacock Rhinestone are scattered around the card front.
The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Heart to Heart Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. The side of the panel gets a partial strip of the blossoms from the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper.
Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the 2019-2021 Incolor 6″ x 6″ DSP added to the panel. All the card cuts for this card can be found at the end of the post.

Good morning stampers and non-stamper, blog lovers and all. We’re headed toward the weekend, just a day away, can you believe–seems it was just here. Why is time flying so fast?
The card for today features the Stampin’ Up! Born To Shine Stamp Set for the artwork and Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat for the sentiment.
Addicted To Stamps — Photo Inspiration. The ballerinas are like tulips swaying in the breeze.
Start with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock base. Add a layer of Stampin’ Up! See A Silouhette Designer Series Paper for the background. To the left side crop a small panel of Whisper White card stock with a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine Dies, punch a strip of the See A Silhouette DSP using the Braided Border Punch. Adhere this piece to the opposite side of the Whisper White panel that was cropped. Adhere the Whisper White panel to the background panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue as you did the other pieces adhered.
Using Tuxedo Memento Black ink stamp the ballerinas from the Stampin’ Up! Born To Shine Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White. To get both of the end ballerinas pointing to the one in the middle, reverse (I guess that what it is called, I do anyway) stamping is used. Stamp the spray of stars also. Color the ballerinas using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Markers in Light & Dark Rococo Rose, Call Me Glover, Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, and Crumb Cake. Cut out sections of the Whisper White panel for the background to show through.
Pop the art piece onto the background panel using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is also from the Born To Shine Stamp Set and is stamped on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and fussy cut to the shape of the greeting. It is then popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. Scatter Stampin’ Up! Basic Rhinestone Jewels around the card front.
A panel of See A Silhouette DSP is adhered inside to the card base and an art piece and sentiment are adhered over the panel. The sentiment panel is cropped using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.
A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the See A Silhouette DSP added to the panel.

The card I am featuring today is from the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Stamp Set. Surely this set will carry over into the next catalog. I think it should be there forever like the Lovely As A Tree Stamp Set. Yes! I am still whining that it is gone.
There are several challenges today that inspired me. I will try to list alphabetically.
Watercooler Wednesday–WWC261 – Kath’s Challenge: Anything Goes With a Feminine Twist.
There are seven layers to this card starting with the Stampin’ Up! Pool Party card stock base with a panel of the same embossed with the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder. Next comes a panel of Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock next is a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. That gives you three layers. The art panel with the image from the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Stamp Set is stamped on a circle cropped from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circles Dies. The birds are colored using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Markers in Light and Dark Seafoam Spray, Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo, Light and Dark Balmy Blue, Light and Dark Crumb Cake, and Light and Dark Old Olive markers.
The art piece is layered on a stack of layering circles that have been cropped from the Bird Ballad DSP, Pool Party card stock and Petal Pink card stock. Three pearls are added to the art piece and a small Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Baker’s Twine bow is popped on the edge of the art piece. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set and is cropped using one of the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Frame Dies.
The sentiment is from Tags in Bloom Stamp Set one of the Stampin’ Up! 2nd Release of Sale-A-Bration items. It is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Whisper White card stock panel that has been embellished with a panel of the Stampin Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP).
A Whisper White envelope receives a panel of the Bird Ballad DSP to the envelope flap and your project is finished.

Happy rainy day in Georgia! I believe we have switched weather with the Pacific Northwest and their weather. When summer comes we will be complaining about the heat. I guess the weather gives something to complain about.🙂
Start with a Stampin’ Up! Highland Heather card stock base, add a layer of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder. This panel is popped on the card front. Before embossing stamp the greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set in Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grape Classic ink.
The art circle is cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies. The image is stamped from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments Stamp Set and watercolored. Since this was stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink, make sure it is very dry before watercoloring. I masked the pails from the image.
Once colored and dried, the art circle is popped over the Stampin’ Up! Best Dress Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel that is adhered across the card front. Add three rhinestones from the Stampin’ Up! Noble Peacock Rhinestones. Your card front is finished.
The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grape Classic ink on the Whisper White card stock panel. A strip of the Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed DSP is adhered at the bottom of the panel.
Give the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope flap a panel of the Best Dressed DSP and your project is finished.
