Stampin’ Up! Bloom and Grow

Stampin’ Up! Bloom and Grow

It’s Friday and the weekend starts for many people.  I always have a weekend.  After a while, you forget it’s the middle of the week.  Have a great weekend everyone!

My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Bloom and Grow Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper along the large heart die from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine Dies Set.

My challenge is with Fab Friday.  It is a sketch challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Highland Heather card stock is the card base as are the two mats that have been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtles Embossing Folder.

The focal panel is a panel cut from one of the gorgeous paper of the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper. It also is embossed using the Subtles Embossing Folder. It coordinates well with my heart and the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Bloom and Grow Stamp Set.

The flowers are stamped in Stampin’ Up! Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Thick Whisper White card stock and then colored using Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils and Stampin’ Up! Blender Pens.  The flower spray is adhered to the heart using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A small length of Stampin’ Up! 3/8″ Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim is adhered below the heart and under the flowers using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Glue Dots hidden under the flowers. A tiny bow is made using a length of twine from the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

The inside is left blank so a note can be written, but flowers have been stamped and colored at the bottom of the panel.  The panel looks Very Vanilla but it is Whisper White, I suppose that is my lighting on this take.

In finishing the card project, I added a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence DSP to the envelope flap so it would coordinate with the card front.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I wish you a great weekend!  Return soon for another card.

Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Thank You!

Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Thank You!

I used the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper to create my card for the Global Design Project Challenge and the Inspire, Create Challenge for today.

My card starts with a Stampin’ Up! Rococo Rose card stock card base then a panel of Stampin’ Up’ Merry Merlot card stock is added as a mat for the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals DSP embossed focal panel that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Can you see how subtle the embossing is?  See the texture it gives the card stock.

A 2-1/4″ x 4″ panel of Merry Merlot card stock is cut and embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder also.  I use this embossing folder so much and hope that Stampin’ Up! keeps it around for a long long time.  Like its name, it is so good to give that subtle texture to a piece of card stock and make it look so much better.

The flowers on the Merry Merlot panel are from a piece of the Pressed Petals DSP.  I fussy cut them as I did the one on the inside sentiment panel.  The thank you is from the Stampin’ Up! Rooted In Nature Stamp Set.  It was part of a long greeting and I did not want all of it so I masked the portion I did not want to use.  Several Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels are added to the card front.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Merry Merlot ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock and is matted on a panel of Merry Merlot card stock.  As I said earlier the flowers were fussy cut from a panel of the Pressed Petals DSP and adhered with Liquid Glue.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the flowers on the card front.  I   gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals DSP.  It is the same panel I cut the flowers for the card front.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and my wish is that your day be blessed.

Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends

Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends

I used the Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends stamp set that is being retired June 3 to create my card for the  As You See It Challenge.  I have so many stamp sets that are retiring that have found very little use.  It seems I’ve gotten stuck on certain sets and continued to use and use and use.  Now time is running out and they will soon retire.  But there are so many beautiful sets in the new 2019-2020 Catalog, I am sure they will soon be just a memory.

My theme comes from the As You See It Challenge.   A carAnnuald is to be made that includes two and I think my Stampin’Up! Bella and Friends image qualifies for the two.

My card starts off with a Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Bushel card stock base.

Next a Stampin’ Up! Sahara Sand card stock panel is cut and embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Woodlands Embossing Folder.  This is adhered to the card base using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.  A panel of Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock is cut as a mat for the art piece.  The art image is from the Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends stamp set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Watercolor pencils were used to color the image.  The greeting is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Early Espresso ink.

The inside sentiment is also from the Stampin’ Up! Bella and Friends stamp set.  It is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.  The image on the card front is carried over to the sentiment panel.

An envelope has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Woodlands Embossing Folder the same as the front panel.

I hope you like my card and find inspirations and encouragement for your own creations.  Have a blessed day!

Everything is Rosy

Everything is Rosy

The new Everything is Rosy Product Medley is used to create this card.  You can read all the details about the Everything is Rosy Product Medley below.  It gives all the details of the items included in this Medley.  Here is my card.

Since all the information and card cuts are below what can I say, very little.  I had a bit of a problem with the lighting.  As I have found before when using metallic paper, it does not reflect the light well no matter how you position it.

Night of Navy is the card base and next, I used two different panels of the Everything is Rosy DSP to create the design for the card.  The sketch design is from Freshly Made Sketches.

And…  Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge.

And… The Creative Crafters  Challenge Blog.

Yay!  I found three, which is not often, challenges to play!

The flowers are from the Everything is Rose Medley and are fussy cut.  The Melon Mambo Scrunch Ribbon is also another item from the Everything is Rosy Medley.   You should check out this kit, you really get a lot for your dollar.  So is the label and the Thank You greeting.  The greeting is stamped in Melon Mambo ink.

The inside sentiment is stamped on a panel of Whisper White card stock using Night of Navy ink and a stamp from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.  The flower is stamped in Melon Mambo and Night of Navy inks.  The stamps are from the Everything is Rosy Medley stamp set.

I hope you like my card and that you have a blessed Sunday!

Best Birds

Best Birds

My card is created using the Best Birds stamp set.  I know it is retiring but I think I shall keep it for a while longer.  Today is the day we can do pre-ordering from the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  I told someone I needed to start a GoFundMe page to cover all I want from that catalog.  I believe it is the most amazing one I have seen in my 10+ years of having Stampin’ Up Catalogs.  Maybe I will pull all my old catalogs out and line them up and take a look, but I know this one is surely the best looking and the best products inside.   If you would like a catalog, contact me.

My sketch design is from Try Stampin on Tuesday

The colors on this card do not show up very well.  I used the same lighting as always but the colors look washed out to me.  The flowers are Blushing Bride pink but here they look white.  The card base is Soft Sea Foam card stock and the mat, embossed with the Seaside Embossing Folder which is soon to be retired is Blushing Bride card stock.  The flower panel is from the new Bird Ballad DSP (available June 4).  The doily is cut using the Doily Builder Thinlits soon to be retired also.  It is adhered using Liquid Glue in various spots.  The bird, flowers, and branch are from the Best Birds stamp set and is retiring June 4.  It is stamped in Crumb Cake ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and colored using Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen.  A bow is made using Baker’s Twine and adhered using a Glue Dot.  Rhinestone Basic Jewels are added to the center of each flower and three Adhesive Backed Sequins are popped in several spots on the card front.  There is not an inside sentiment as this will be used to write a thank you note.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a blessed day!
