Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky

Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky

Happy Friday everyone!  Do you have a fun weekend planned?  Here in Georgia it is too hot to do much outside. Maybe,  if you are in Savannah at the beach, the breeze may be cool encough to be outside.  Enjoy the weekend, whatever you do!

I believe this is called a diagonal Fun Fold, I will call it that.  I have used Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set for my greeting and sentiment.  Beach Day has been seeing lots of use with me recently.  I also used half of one of the card bases from the Delicate Wings Paper Pumpin Kit as a background piece on the card front.

I am entering my card in

Triple B: Birds, Butterflies, and Blooms  Challenge

Cut a 4-1/4′ x 11″ Basic White cardstock card base.  Score at 5-1/2″.  On the left panel, cut from the score line to the right corner.  You can see in the photo how the cut is.

Using half of one of the card bases from Delicate Wings Paper Pumpkin, cut the panel 4″ x 5-1/4″ then cut diagonally from the left corner to the right corner.  Adhere the piece to the left panel of the card front.

Using Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set and Dies you can stamp butterflies and then die cut using one of the dies.  I used butterflies from a large, large stash of butterflies I die cut some time ago.  I believe they multiply over night.  I dipped the edges of the butterflies in Versa Mark end, sprinkled Gold Embossing Powder over them, and heat embossed.  Using a Blending Brush and Lost Lagoon ink, I brushed the center of the butterflies.  A sequin Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins is popped on the butterflies.

Cut a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock 3-1/4′ x 6-1/2″ score at 3-1/4″. Cut a piece of Lost Lagoon 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″.  Embosse the piece using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere to the front of the little card.  Pop the butterflies on the front using a Glue Dot.   Using another half panel of a card base from Delicate Wings Paper Pumpkin cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″,  color using a Blending Brush and Lost Lagoon ink.  Adhere the piece to the inside of the card.  Use the remaining half of the card from the card front, adhered to the inside of the left panel. Adhere the little card to the middle of the inside panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  Also, stamp the  little butterflies from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set in Memento Black ink on the sentiment panel.  Color using Lemon Lolly and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends.  Adhere to the inside of the little card.

Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky stamp set on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, fussy cut and adhere to the corner of the little card.  Adhere Iridescent Adhesive Backed Gems to the front of the little card.

Adhere a 2-1/4′ x 6″ piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Expressions Of Kindness

Stampin’ Up! Expressions Of Kindness

My card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Expressions of Kindness Kit, Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes Stamp Set, and Painted Lavender Dies.

This is an easel card and the above picture show how to fold and score the card.  The card base is Lost Lagoon cardstock.  It is cut 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4″ & 5-1/2″.  Fold at the 2-3/4″ score line to create the base for the ease.

A card from Expressions of Kindness Kit is cut in half and the card front is used for the card front for the easel.  Using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes stamp set, stamp the leafy sprig in Lost Lagoon ink stamped off once.  Add one of the flower elements and one of the gold elements from Expressions of Kindness Kit, along with a Basic White piece that has been die cut using a die from Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender Dies.

Take a length of the White ribbon in the Expressions of Kindness Kit and place on the bottom of the floral spray.  Using one of the labels that comes with the Kit stamp a greeting using a stamp from the stamp set that comes with the Kit.  Adhere the label over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Sprinkle several of the gems that comes with the Kit around the card front.

Another panel of one of the cards in the Kit is used for the inside panel for the card.  Stamp in Lost Lagoon ink a sentiment from the stamp set that comes with the Kit.  Die cut a strip of flowers using a die from Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender Dies.  Place them on the right side of the inside panel about 3/4 of the way down the panel.  This becomes the stop for the ease.  Adhere the panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The envelope is from the Stampin’ Up! Expressions Of Kindness Kit.

Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse –Hello Friend

Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse –Hello Friend

The card I am sharing today is one shared by a team member, Rosie Kean, at out quarterly meeting.  We have card demonstrations at the last team meeting of the quarter.   She used Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse stamp set and Dies and this card is my creation of her card.

I am entering Creative Creases Challenge for this card.

The above photos show what you need for the card base, the cut for the birdhouse and the pieces you will need to create this card.

I started with a Crumb Cake card base, adding a  layer of Pecan Pie cardstock next and Country Woods Designer Series Paper on top of the Pecan Pie card stock.  As you have die cut the pieces necessary to create this card. A greeting is stamped on the Country Woods piece that is for the ledge of the birdhouse, it is stamped in Memento Black ink using a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse stamp set.

This is how the card looks when the birdhouse part of the card is opened.  On the birdhouse I stamped a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions stamp set.  The sentiment at the bottom with the bird is from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set.  Both are stamped in Memento Black ink.  The birdhouse is then centered on the panel and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

This is how the card looks with the bottom panel opened flat fully showing the birdhouse on the back panel.

The bottom panel is folded up to close and the birdhouse closes over the panel.

A Basic White cardstock piece is stamped with flowers from Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse and colored using Lemon Lolly, Garden Green, and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.  The piece is matted to a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Journey — Hello

Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Journey — Hello

The card I am sharing today is created with new products to me, Spotlight On Nature Dies, Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set.  The Designer Series Paper does most of the work for creating.  It makes for an easy card creation.  I saw Lisa Freeman’s card, loved it so thought I would make it.

I am entering this card in the following challenges

Addicted To Stamps — theme this challenge  Any Occasion

Seize The Birthday  — Anything Goes or Option Metallics

I suppose you could consider this a stack, cut, shuffle card as you cut both pieces of the Designer Series Paper at the same time.  I started  with a piece of Petunia Pop cardstock for the card base.

The  two pieces of Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper are stacked together and cut in the design above.  Strips of Petunia Pop cardstock are cut and adhered to the edges of the two outside pieces.  All three are then adhered to a piece of Basic White cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Start with the middle piece first, then add the two outside pieces.  A butterfly from Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink and colored using Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends.  It doesn’t look as if colored in photo, shows up as black and white.

Using  two different sizes of  dies from Spotlight On Nature Dies, die cut a Basic White and Petunia Pop cardstock circle.  On the Basic White circle stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set.  Adhere the Basic White circle to the Petunia Pop circle, then pop on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Scatter 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems around the card front.  Make a bow from Linen Thread and adhere to the circle using Glue Dots.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  A strip of Thoughtful Journey is adhered at the bottom of the panel.  The piece is then adhered to the card base.

A piece of Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper is adhered to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse

Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse

This is a first time use for me.  I believe Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse Stamp Set is going to be one of my favorites from the 2024-2025 Annual catalog.  It get more difficult to get a card made.  Maybe after a few more weeks, I will have some energy to  get things done. In creating this card, along with the stamp set I used Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper.  Happy it carried over.

The card base is Shaded Spruce card stock. A layer of Early Espresso cardstock is added next. It becomes the mat for the Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper.  Before adding to the Early Espresso cardstock, the panel is brushed with Crumb Cake ink using a Blending Brush and Crumb Cake ink.

I am entering Creative Creases Challenge for this card.

Flowers and birds are stamped using stamps from Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse stamp set, then colored using Stampin’ Blends.  Greenery is die cut from Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow cardstock.   The birdhouse is die cut from a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper.  It is brushed with Crumb Cake ink using a Blending Brush. The birdhouse roof and porch is from a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock.  I die cut the scalloped piece from a piece of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper.  A piece of Basic Black card stock is used to die up the decoration post the birdhouse rest on.   A piece is also place behind the circle cut in the birdhouse.

Another piece of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper is cut, brushed, matted on Early Espresso cardstock then adhered to the inside panel.  Flowers are popped on the panel to create a stop for the easel.

This is how the card looks when it is folded to create the easel.

When you open the card, you will find a piece of Basic White adhered  over the Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper  to enable a note to be written if wanted.

This is the back of the card where a greeting is stamped in Crumb Cake ink using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set.  A flower is popped on the corner of the piece.

A Very Vanilla envelope gets a piece  of Nature’s Sweetness S Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
