Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden — Hey Ya’ll

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden — Hey Ya’ll

The card today was created using Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Stamp Set, along with Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper.  Easy and simple card to make.

Card Cuts

  • Calypso Coral cardstock
    • cardbase — 4-14″ x 11: scored at 5-1/2″
  • Very Vanilla cardstock
    • inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
    • circle on card front — 4′ x 4″
  • Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper
    • 3 different patterns  — 4″ x 5-1/4″

Cut the three  4″ x 5-1/4″ pieces at the same time.  You can see how I cut mine from the photo.

Choose a piece from each pattern in the Designer Series Paper, and adhere them to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Leave a border between the pieces.  See the photo.  Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Happy Place Stamp Set.  Stamp flowers from Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Stamp Set in Smoky Slate ink.  Color the flowers using Watercolor Pencils. Pop the finish piece on the card front.

Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere a strip of Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper at the bottom of the panel.

Adhere a 2-1/2″ x 6″ piece of Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper to a Very Vanilla envelope flap.

I am happy you stopped by today.  I hope you take the time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards, and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my creations with you each day. I hope you will be inspired to create amazing things yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Have a blessed day!

Questions? You can Contact Me.  I’d love to be your Demonstrator if you need any stamping supplies.  Just click on the Shop Now button on the top right side of the screen to go directly to my online store.  You can Shop in my online store HERE

  • Ready to Join our team?  Click HERE  for more information. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is to pre-order before a new catalog launches, and the Online Exclusives we get to order before they are released to customers.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card-making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card-making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.

Being a part of the Stampin’ Up! Community is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.  Are you new to papercrafting and cardmaking and don’t know where to start, but would like to join to save?  As I said earlier in this post, I’m here to assist you in any way I can.  Ask me!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Greenery

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Greenery

Happy Sunday, everyone.  I hope everyone is having a relaxing and fun Sunday doing whatever their heart desires.  To those who have to work on Sunday, thank you.  Today, in Georgia, we are enjoying a partly sunny day.  We’re supposed to get rain later in the week, and wouldn’t you know it, it is on the day I have to go to the dentist, so I will have to fight the 100% we are supposed to get.  But, then you know how the weather is, really can’t tell what it will be.

The card today is a fun card to create.  I like this faux step card design.   Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper does most of the work on this card.  Only the tiny greeting from Stampin’ Up! Charming Day Stamp Set and the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Comforting Thoughts Stamp Set is the only stamping.  I have used this designer series paper for an encouragement card instead of a Christmas card.  It works well for any card, I think.

Step card cuts

  • Secret Sea cardstock
    • card base – 5-1/2” x 8” score at 3”, 6”, and 7”
    • center step – 3” x 6” score at 4-1/4”
  • Basic White cardstock
    • card base mat — 2-3/4” x 5-1/4”
    • card base step mat — ¾” x 5-1/4″”
    • center step mat – 2-3/4” x 4”
    • inside panel — 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″
    • oval — 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
  • Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper
    • card base – 2-1/2” x 5”
    • card base step mat – ½” x 4-3/4”
    • center step mat – 2-1/2” x 3-3/4”
    • oval card front — 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″

This is how the card will look once you have scored and folded.  I should have taken the picture before I put all the dressings on it, but you can still tell what it looks like from the side once it has been scored and folded.

  1. Add the 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White mat to the card base.
  2. Add the 2-3/4″ x 4″ Basic White mat to the center step.
  3. Add the 3/4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White strip to the card base step.
  4. Next, add the Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper to the Basic White mats.
  5. Attach the long portion of the center step to the card front using adhesive of choice; I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  6. Attach the short end to the back of the card, putting glue only on the bottom of the short end.  If you put it all over the short end, you will not be able to open your card.
  7. Stamp a greeting in Memento Black ink on the Basic White oval using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Charming Day Stamp Set.
  8. Looking at the above card, arrange the Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper die-cut flowers around the Basic White oval.
  9. Adhere a 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White to the inside of the card base.
  10. Add the 2-1/2″ x 5″ piece of red designer series paper from Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper over the Basic White mat.
  11. Add one of the Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper die-cut flowers to the lower corner.
  12.   This is the back of the card.  A piece of Basic White cardstock is adhered to the card base, and die-cut flowers from Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper is added to the lower right corner.
  13. This is an overhead view of the card.
  14. Adhere a piece of Traditions Of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper to the flap of a Basic White envelope using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I am happy you stopped by today.  I hope you take the time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards, and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my creations with you each day. I hope and wish you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Fall For Toile Paper Pumpkin

Stampin’ Up! Fall For Toile Paper Pumpkin

I hope everyone has had a blessed day.  It is a beautiful Fall day here in GA.  We went for a walk earlier, and the breeze was so cool in the warm sunshine.  I know everyone who doesn’t have to work the weekend is looking forward to a little rest and doing fun things with family and friends.

My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Fall For Toile Paper Pumpkin elements and Stampin’ Up! Branching Out Stamp Set.  I added a few things, making it an alternative card.

This was an easy card to create.  I started with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock.  I scored at 4-1/4″, folded the card, and gave it a good burnish with a bone folder.  A piece of Early Espresso cardstock was adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A piece of Gathering Together Designer Series Paper was added to the Early Espresso piece, leaving a 1/8″ border.

Leaves were arranged on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Branching Out stamp set is stamped in Early Espresso ink on one of the circle labels included in the Fall For Toile Paper Pumpkin. Two short pieces of ribbon from the Paper Pumpkin Kit are added to the greeting.  On the greeting label, stamp pumpkins using a stamp from the Fall For Toile Paper Pumpkin.  Color the pumpkins using Timid Tiger and Darling Duckling Stampin’ Blends.  Three 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls  are popped on the card front.

On a piece of 4″ x 5-14″ Basic White cardstock, a sentiment from Fall For Toile Paper Pumpkin is stamped in Cajun Craze ink.  A strip of Gather Together Designer Series Paper is adhered to the bottom of the panel.  The panel is then dipped in Cajun Craze ink and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

An envelope from the Fall For Toile Paper Pumpkin is used.

Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn

The card  I am sharing today was created using Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set and Dies, plus Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper. It is a Z-fold card.  I consider it a CASe of one Amy Koenders created.  Hers was not a fun fold, but her card gave me the idea for this Z-fold fun fold.

Emboss the Basic Beige 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ piece using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.  Stamp the pumpkin and leaves with acorn images from Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set in Crumb Cake ink.  Color the images using Darling Duckling, Daffodile Delight, Lost Lagoon, and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.  Die-cut the images using dies from Amber Autumn Dies.  Adhere the 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ embossed piece to the 3″ x 3″ Early Espresso piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or your preferred adhesive.  Arrange the pumpkin and leaves the way you prefer on the Basic Beige embossed piece, then adhere using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Lay aside until the remainder of the cards is assembled.

Adhere the 1-7/8″ x 2-3/8″ Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper to the  2″ x 2-5/8″ Early Espresso cardstock pieces using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or the adhesive of choice.  Adhere these pieces to the Crumb Cake card base as you see in the photo above.

Adhere the 1-7/8″ x  5-1/4″ Basic Beige cardstock and the 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper to the 1-7/8″ x 5-3/8″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock.  Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso ink on a piece of Basic Beige cardstock.  Trim and cut about as the photo above shows.  Fussy cut pumpkins from a piece of Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper and adhere to the bottom of the Basic Beige panel.

Fussy cut a piece of Amber Autumn Designer Series Paper to fit the flap of a Very Vanilla envelope.  Adhere using Multipurpose Glue.

Ask me!
