Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Frost

Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Frost

Happy-the-day-after-the-BIG-feast.  I hope you didn’t have so much food that you are unable to waddle out and hit all the great BLACK FRIDAY sales.  As for me, I have two good books to read.

The card I am sharing today is another quick and easy card for anyone.

The inspiration for the design comes from Sunday Stamps.

The card I am sharing today is created from the Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Frost DSP.  This makes for a quick and easy card when you need one in a hurry.

Pop a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Designer Series Paper on a Stampin’ Up! Sparkle Glitter Paper mat and then onto a   Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock base using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Add the large and small snowflakes and the greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set stamped in Silver Delicata ink on a scrap of Night of Navy card stock and your card  front is finished.

Stamp your sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set in Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock, add your snowflakes and adhere to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Since I have used all the DSP like the card, I will just use a plain white envelope for mailing, much to my dislike.  I like decorating the envelope to match the card.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Christmastime with Toile Christmas

Stampin’ Up! Christmastime with Toile Christmas

Happy Tuesday, Welcome!

It’s only 2 days until Thanksgiving are you one of those that can hardly wait for the spread laid out on the table or just a nibbler?  Are you joining the crazy crowds on Black Friday?  I did once, but I think you get wiser with age and it’s no fun to stay all night in a store to get what you want.  Many years ago, my daughter-in-love and I used to go shopping (we had to be nuts to stay up all night and pull a stunt like we did) and we would get the items that were limited, on sale for a good price, and only for a certain amount of time and everyone was fighting to get.

After we walked around and did the shopping we there to do we would check out and tell the salesperson, “Oh I decided I don’t want this.” By this time the sale was over.  We were mean, would you say? Or we would find a Mom that looked so tired and needed much help financially and ask her if she was looking for this toy.  There was always a smile when she got what she was really there for, the toy that was special that year that her child just had to have. Thinking about it now we should have gone to the register with her and paid.  Anyone remember the Furbies, I think that’s how you spell it, that was one year.

Well on to the card.

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Christmastime Is Here Designer Series Paper, Toile Christmas Stamp Bundle, this includes the stamps and the Christmas Cardinal Dies.  You may be seeing Cardinal cards the next few days as I have made several with different layouts.

The challenges I am playing today are Crafty Catz Blog Challenge — Crafty Catz #484 Anything goes/spots and/or stripes.

And…Sweet Stampin’ add a pop of red.

Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler card stock is the card base, then a background panel on top from one of the Stampin’ Up! Copper Dot Treat Bags that has been cut to the proper size.  The greeting from Stampin’ Up!  Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set is stamped in Versa Mark ink and then Stampin’ Up! Gold Embossing Powder is sprinkled over it and heat embossed to set the greeting. The label the greeting is on is one of the cropped pieces when the Cardinal was cropped.  I thought it made a very nice label.

Before adhering any of the pieces, I arranged the pieces on the background to see how they would look (Mary Deatherage taught us this trick).  After being satisfied with the way they looked  I took a picture so I could remember exactly the placement as I glued using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, or popped with Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The Cardinal from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Stamp Bundle is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Real Red ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock and then colored using  Stampin’ Up! Light Real Red and Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The berry branches from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Stamp Set are stamped using Tuxedo Memento Black in on the envelope flap, then colored using the Stampin’ Blends in Light Cherry Cobbler and Light Old Olive.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

HAVE A HAPPY AND BLESSED THANKSGIVING!

Stampin’ Up! Dashing Deer

Stampin’ Up! Dashing Deer

Happy Sunday, the last weekend before Thanksgiving.  Do you have your menu all planned or is it going to be hurry, hurry, rush, rush to get the last minute details finished before the big COOK begins?  I don’t even have to think of it as my two sons will do the cooking, isn’t it nice to train your sons that way.  I always told them they may live alone someday and need to know how to cook.

The card I am sharing today is really simple.  It is the negative piece left from making another card, but it works perfectly to make this one.  It is from the Stampin’ Up! Dashing Deer Stamp Set.  Since this is a piece of foil card stock and it doesn’t photo very well, or I should say, I can’t get it to photo well — pictures are few and you don’t need very many instructions as you can see.

I am playing along with Freshly Made Sketches today.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler card stock as is the panel embossed using the Stampi’ Up! Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder. Then you have the Stampin’ Up! Gold Foil piece left from another card that is matted to a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper.  Add a few Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels and your card is finished.  I almost forgot the deer’s bowtie which is the greeting from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set.

On to the inside where you have a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set along with a deer that is cropped and matted on a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid DSP.  I told you it was simple and easy.

My Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid DSP added to the flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas

Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas

Happy Friday!  Even though I no longer work outside the home, I still look forward to the weekend.  Habit I suppose.  Do you have something fun planned plus this is the weekend before  Thanksgiving so a lot of people are over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house!  Be safe in your journeys.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Memories and More Card Pack.  An extra easy card to create.

I am playing in two challenges today and both have a Christmas Theme.

Hand Stamped Sentiments is one.

And…  Double D Challenge is the other.

Both are fun challenges to play in.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White mat that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder.  A peppermint panel is cut from the Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper, then adhered to the Whisper White embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Santa is fussy cut from one of the cards in the Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas Memories and More Card Pack and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is cut from one of the cards in the same pack and popped on the card front along with the rhinestones from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  Stampin’ Up! Snow Accents Puff Paint is applied to the white cuffs of Santa’s suit and heat set with the heat tool.

The sentiment is one of the cards from the card pack cut to size and applied to the peppermint mat.  Candy canes and stars are added to the sentiment panel.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope get a peppermint panel of the Night Before Christmas 6″ x 6″ DSP added to the envelope panel.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Let It Snow

Stampin’ Up! Let It Snow

Happy Saturday! I hope your weekend is going fantastic.  As you read this I will be having fun along with several teammates from the Critters and Krew Team at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage Event.  It is truly going to be a fun day, we get to see the new Occasions catalog that will be available January 1, 2020.  Can you believe it will soon be the year 2020?

The card I am sharing with you today is created using Dies and DSP (Designer Series Paper)  I do not know the name of the dies but the DSP is Stampin’ Up! Let It Snow.

The challenge for today is with  Cardz 4 Galz —  Let It Snow

I cut a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Let It Snow Designer Series Paper and cut the panel in two so I would have 2 angles.  I embossed a Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock panel using the Stampin’ Up! Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder.  I then adhered the two angled panels to the Real Red panel.  Adhering the panel left a red space between the panels.  I cropped out of Whisper White card stock the word MERRY from the Stampin’ Up! Merry Christmas Dies.  I cropped 4 of them and adhered them together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The word was then glued into the red space.  A snowflake was popped in the corner.  A large red snowflake that has been cropped from Stampin’ Up! Red Glimmer Paper is popped in the upper left corner of the snowmen angles.  A snowman is fussy cut and popped on the lower portion of the card front along with a red snowflake.

The sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Real Red ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.  A small panel of the Let It Snow DSP is adhered at the bottom of the sentiment panel.  The panel is then adhered to the Real Red card base.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Let It Snow DSP for the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.
