Stampin’ Up! Share What You Love, Tin Tile etc.

Stampin’ Up! Share What You Love, Tin Tile etc.

Hope everyone in the path of the hurricane stays safe.  Maybe it won’t be as bad as it seems.  Maybe it will be down-graded before it hits the coast.  There’s lots of rain already but the full fury of the hurricane has not hit yet. Stay Safe everyone!

Today I am playing with the Paper Players

My card today uses the Around the Corner stamp set and the Postcard Pals stamp and paper from the Share What You Love DSP, plus Crumb Cake for the card base and Blackberry Bliss that has been embossed using the Tin Tile DIEF.  Mint Macaron is  used for the third layer of my faux flower with Happy Birthday stamped on it.  The layers of my faux flower are embossed using the Subtle Embossing folder.  The little flower is stamped using the Around the Corner stamp set.

Ribbon is the Polka Dot Tulle  and the pearls are the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.

I used Stampin Dimensionals to pop the Blackberry Bliss mat and the faux flower.  The Share What You Love DSP is adhered to the Blackberry Bliss mat using Liquid Glue.

The inside sentiment is matted with Blackberry Bliss and Mint Macaron card stock.  The sentiment is stamped in Blackberry Bliss on a panel of Whisper White.  a strip of the Share What You Love DSP was cut 1/2″ and adhered down the left side.

I hope  you found inspiration, hope and encouragement that you can use in your own card making or crafts.  I am happy to share what I create with you.  Thanks for stopping by.

Card cuts are at the end of the post.

Have A Blessed Day!

Stampin’ Up Daisy Delight

Stampin’ Up Daisy Delight

Welcome to my blog post!  For today, I decided to use something old, something new, something blue, just didn’t have anything I could borrow.

I have never played along with the Fusion Challenge before, so it is new for me. I .just had to play as daisies are my favorite, favorite flower.  Most people prefer roses, not me I love daisies.  Makes me think of childhood and picking daisies in pasture behind my grandparents house.

My card base is Whisper White.  Then a mat of Night of Navy  (my blue) embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder and adhered with Liquid Multipurpose glue. Onto this Night of Navy mat, I adhered a 1-3/4 x 5-1/4 panel of Daisy Delight DSP (retired) so this is my old, matted on 2 x 5-1/2 Whisper White mat.

I cut my circles using the Layered Circle Framelits. I cut one from Night of Navy and one from a scrap of the Daisy Delight DSP.  I glued this circle onto the Night of Navy one and popped them onto the card front using Stampin Dimensionals.  I cut three daisies from the Daisy Delight DSP and popped them on the bottom of the circle, again using Stamping Dimensionals.

The 2 daisies are stamped in Crushed Curry and  cut using the Big Shot and the Daisy Delight Stamp set and punched using the Daisy Punch. They too, received a bit of the Subtle Embossing Folder embossing.

The inside sentiment is from the “Postcard Pals” stamp set. It is stamped in Night of Navy Ink on a panel of Whisper White.

Card cuts are at the bottom of the post.

Still Night Stampin Up

Still Night Stampin Up

Welcome to a sneak peek of one of the Stampin’ Up 2018 Holiday Catalog stamp sets.  It is called Still Night.  I think the owl looks so dignified sitting on his branch as if to say look at me.

My card design is inspired by Inkspire Me.

Crazy 4 Challenge c4c449

and the TGIF Challenges Feelin Punchy

Coloring the owl was quite easy as I stamped him on a scrap of Sahara Sand cardstock and then used the watercolor pencils that come with the Blended Season Stamp Bundle, but you have to order them separately.  These are available until August 31. They are not in the Holiday Catalog, so if you want them order within the next three days.  I also used the Early Expresso Watercolor Pencil from the annual catalog watercolor set.

I cut the Owl using his die from the Night Owl Thinlits Dies set, along with the branch he is perched on in Crumb Cake. I watercolored a scrap of Whisper White cardstock with Tranquil Tide to get the color I wanted, so it would match the Joyous Noel DSP that I used for the mat. From this piece I cut the pine bough that are tucked behind the owl and under the branch he is sitting on.

The greeting “Thinking of You” on the front is from the Colorful Season Stamp Set and Bundle. The sentiment, “Wishing You All the Best,” is in the Blended Seasons bundle. I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek of this stamp set. All 2018 Holiday catalog products will be available September 5th. Start making your lists!   All products used in making this card are listed at the very end of this post along with card cuts.

Stampin’ Up! is offering a limited time stamp set bundle called Blended Seasons.  It’s an exclusive 10-piece wood- or clear-mount stamp set with images for every season (also available in French)!  The stamp set can be bundled with Stitched Season Framelits Dies, which is a coordinating stitched die that includes stitching on both the positive and negative images

Autumn Blessings

Autumn Blessings

Can you believe it is that time again?  Thank you for joining us today for another fantastic blog hop. The theme this month is “Fall Frenzy”. I’ve chosen the Blended Season’s stamp set to use today.  It is a great stamp set.  It is available until August 31.  I also used the Postcard Pals stamp set for the sentiment.

I started with a base of Blueberry Bushel. Cut 4-1/4 x 11 and scored at 5-1/2.  I then chose a panel of So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  I stamped the art piece using the Blended Seasons Stamp Set.

I colored the art piece with Stampin Up Watercolor Pencils and used an Aqua Painter to smooth the coloring out along with a Blender Pen.  I fussy cut some of the leaves and popped them on using Stamping Dimensionals.  The front greeting is an old Verve stamp, I think.

For the inside sentiment panel, I also stamps some leaves and colored again with the Watercolor Pencils.  The sentiment is from Postcard Pals.  The sentiment panel was adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
