Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Have A Beautiful Day Card

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Have A Beautiful Day Card

The card I am sharing today is created using two stamp sets that will soon retire, they are the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms stamp set and the Very Versailles stamp set.  The Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder does not show up well on the Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP.

One of my challenges is the Crafty Gals Corner Challenge — Add A Flower

And…

https://creativecrafterschallenge.blogspot.com/2022/03/challenge-50.html – Anything Goes

My card base is Gray Granite card stock.  A panel of Basic Black card stock is used as the mat for the Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP.  On the panel of DSP I stamped the vine image from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set in Old Olive ink.

I stamped the cherry blossoms from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms stamp set on a piece of Blushing Bride card stock using Memento Black ink. Using a Roccoco Rose Stampin’ Blends Marker, I colored the blossoms, next I used a Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Marker to color the leaves and stem.  After coloring, I cropped using a die from the Cherry Blossom Dies, using the die did not crop the image as close as I would have liked so I fussy cut around it.  It is adhered to another panel of the Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then popped over the card front.

A black knot bow is tied and popped on the blossom stem.  A Brushed Brass Butterfly is popped on the blossom petal, several Gray Granite Dots are popped around the card front.  A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink and cropped using a die from the Ornate Label Dies.

A panel of the Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP is stamped in Old Olive ink with the vine image from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set.  Sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Love & Happiness stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel from the Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Love & Happiness Anniversary Card

Stampin’ Up! Love & Happiness Anniversary Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Love & Happiness Stamp Set along with the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder.  Sweet Talk DSP was used for the fussy cut hearts.  All of these are new items from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog.

My card design is inspired by the design from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

My card starts with a Basic Black card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder.  This panel is matted to a Smoky Slate card stock panel then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Hearts were fussy cut from a panel of the Sweet Talk DSP and matted on Smoky Slate and then Basic Black card stock. Silver thread is wrapped around four fingers several times to create loops, then adhered to the embossed panel.  The hearts were then adhered over the silver thread using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Love & Happiness Stamp Set is used to stamp the greeting in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock.  It is popped over the bottom of the hearts using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment is another stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Love & Happiness Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Hearts are again fussy cut from a panel of the Sweet Talk DSP and adhered below the sentiment.  I masked part of the Happy Anniversary stamp as I only wanted the Happy Anniversary part for my card.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Sweet Talk DSP adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I can’t believe it has been 5 weeks since I got to create a card.  It has taken me a while to get this one made, but I remarked to a friend when I could make a card again, I would know I am on the road to recovery.  It may take me two-three days to get one made but it is surely an improvement.  I have missed card-making so much.  I am sure all will agree there is something about making a card that is soothing to the soul.

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Dies Hello You Card

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Dies Hello You Card

Happy 4th of July weekend.  Do you have fun plans — picnic with lemonade, potato salad, fried chicken, strawberry cake, and watermelon.  Growing up this was our typical 4th menu.  The watermelon went in the creek to get cold while we ate lunch, later in the afternoon you got the watermelon which was always such a treat as a kid. Of course no ice for the lemonade, so when I order lemonade at Chick-Fil-A — no ice–now days, Chick-Fil-A can provide the chicken and lemonade, Publix the potato salad, and watermelon.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Pansy Dies and a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Stamp Set.

My inspiration is the sketch from the Fusion Card Challenge.

My card base is Soft Succulent card stock with a panel of the Evening Evergreen adhered to the base to become the mat for the Soft Succulent check panel. Also, cut another panel from a different DSP to create the banner across the top of the check pieces.

Crop pansy petals and leaves from a panel of Thick Basic White card stock.  Color using a blending brush and Pale Papya ink and Evening Evergreen ink.  Use Calypso Coral to outline the edges of the petals.  Color the center of the pansy using a Black Stampin’ Blends Marker.

Another pansy is cropped and colored for the inside panel on which the note will be written.  It can be a birthday note for happy birthday, thinking of you, anniversary, sympathy, or whatever kind of note you want.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts with Brilliant Wings

Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts with Brilliant Wings

Happy summertime day in Georgia, which means hot, hot, hot.  You can probably cook an egg on the sidewalk.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set and the Brilliant Wings Dies along with the Ornate Layers Dies.

My inspiration is from the Allsorts Challenge  — their theme is butterflies & bees.

I started with a card base of Just Jade card stock adding a panel of Basic White card stock which becomes the mat for the Butterfly Bijou DSP. These are all adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of Basic White card stock is cropped using one of the Ornate Layers Dies.  A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set is then stamped in Just Jade ink. The cropped panel is popped on the Butterfly Bijou DSP panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals after a strip of 2021-2023 Incolor Shimmer Vellum is adhered across the butterfly panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Glue Dots.

A panel of Expressions in Ink DSP is cropped using a die from the Brilliant Wings Dies.  The butterfly is popped on the Ornate panel using Mini Glue Dot.

A panel of Basic White card stock is trimmed using a strip of the Butterfly Bijou DSP and then a sentiment from a Stampin’ Up! Elegantly Said Stamp Set is stamped in Just Jade ink.  The panel is then adhered to the card base.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Silhouette Scenes

Stampin’ Up! Silhouette Scenes

Good Morning, everyone, I hope your week will be everything you want it to be.

Today’s card features an old favorite from the Annual Catalog.  Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set is my choice for an anniversary card for my grandson and his wife.  I am also using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder, the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

My inspiration for today’s challenge is the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge — Kath’s Challenge All Things Feminine.

Start with a Bermuda Bay card stock card base with a panel of the same embossed using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.  Adhere to the card base.

Crop a panel from the Flower & Field DSP using the next to largest dies from the Stitched Rectangle Dies and crop one from Oh So Ombre DSP using the largest die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  Stamp the image of the man and woman from the Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the Oh So Ombre Panel. Adhere the two panels at an angle over the embossed panel.

Crop three Real Red card stock “love” words using the Well Written Dies.  Adhere the three together and adhere to the card front. The hearts framing the image are from the stash of hearts saved when cropping a die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies.

The sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Oh So Ombre DSP.  Three red hearts are adhered around the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the  Flower & Field 6″ x 6″ DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
