Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms Sending A Little Message

Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms Sending A Little Message

The card I am sharing today is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms and Bottled Happiness Stamp Sets.

The Allsorts Challenge is always Anything Goes sometimes with an option. The option this time is Sun, Sea, and Sand

I am entering the NBUS challenge because I have not used the stamps used in creating this card.

Since I have a birthday card, I thought I would join Seize the Birthday at the last minute.

I started by creating my cloud panel. You can see how I did the clouds from the diagram above.

Again, I used sticky notes to create the ocean. You can see where the ocean meets the sky, I put a sticky note over the portion that would have clouds, then tore another one to create the sand.  The ocean between these two sticky notes was colored using Balmy Blue and Pacific Point ink.  Once that portion was colored, I used Crumb Cake and Soft Suede to create the sand and the sand mounds.  The clouds were done last and you can see the diagram as how they are created.

One of the bottle stamps from Stampin’ Up! Bottled Happiness stamp set is stamped in Starry Night ink on Vellum, allowed to dry, the cut in half to fit the bottle behind the sand mound.

I stamped my palm trees in Old Olive ink and used a Stampin’ Write Soft Suede pen to color the palm tree trunk.  I fussy cut after die cutting because I did not like the large white border around the edges.  Grass is cropped from a scrap of Old Olive card stock and popped over a sand mound. The palm tree, grass and sand mound are adhered used Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Bottled Happiness stamp set is stamped in Soft Suede onto the sand mound.  The mound is then popped over the bottle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Several Basic White dots are colored using a Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends marker.  I used the one that is for the darkest skin tone.  These are popped at the foot of the tree in the grass and on the tree.  These are my version of coconuts.

My Basic White card stock cloud-created panel gets a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms stamp set stamped in Pacific Point ink, it is then matted on a panel of Balmy Blue card stock and adhered to the card base.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Flowering Fields DSP, retired, adhered to the envelope flap. This panel of DSP is clouds and is the right color so I used it instead of creating clouds on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer & Summer Shadows Hello

Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer & Summer Shadows Hello

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Stamp Set, Summer Shadow Dies, Thanks and Hello Embossing Folder, Fern 3D Embossing Folder, and Hues of Happiness DSP.

One of my challenges for today is the Alphabet Challenge — this week it is the letter E- Embossing dry/wet.  I have chosen dry.

My card design is inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge for this week.  It is a simple design, but often the simplest design can end up being the most complicated.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock using a Fern 3D Embossing Folder.   I also embossed a strip of Blackberry Bliss card stock using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.  I cut a second strip from the Hues of Happiness DSP that is paired with the Blackberry Bliss strip to create a mat for my flowers.

Flowers are cropped using dies from the Summer Shadow Dies, Blackberry Bliss card stock, and Hues of Happiness DSP. You can see from the photo how I created the flowers with opposite colors but still the same colors.  The leaves are some leftover from other cards.

I also embossed a strip of Hues of Happiness DSP with the Hello die from the Thanks & Hello Embossing Folders.  This strip becomes the greeting as it has the word Hello on the embossed strip.  I colored Pearl Basic Jewels using a Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Marker.

You can see how each element is added to the card to create the way the card looks.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets matted onto a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A flower that matches the flowers on the card front is added to the right lower corner of the card.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Hues of Happiness DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampin’ Up! Abigail Rose with Perfectly Penciled Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Abigail Rose with Perfectly Penciled Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is a combination of Abigail Rose and Perfectly Penciled DSP. The strip panel behind the flowers is one left over creating another card.  I created the strip panel only to find out a few days ago when I was pulling out retired DSP that You’re A Peach DSP has a panel that is strip like this.  Evidently, I never used the DSP or I would have known.

My challenge for today is with the Tic, Tac Toe Challenge.  I am going across the top row. I can also do down the left side,

I started with a Sweet Sorbet card stock card base, to this I added a panel of Basic White card stock embossed using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  It is adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card base.

Flowers from both Abigail Rose and Perfectly Penciled DSP are fussy cut and colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The colors used can be found in the product used list at the end of this post. I will say that the pinkish lavender purple flower is a combination of markers, I kept coloring until I achieved a color I liked.  In person it kind of looks like Rich Razzleberry ink water with water added.

After coloring the flowers are popped over the strip panel and the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A greeting is cropped using a die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I have a page of this greeting and forgot to write in pencil on the back what stamp set I used, so you can use any that you may have. The greeting is then popped across the middle of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A Brushed Brass Butterfly is popped on the edge of the greeting as well as others around the card front.  A bow is created using a length of Pale Papya ribbon left from the March 2022 Paper Pumpkin.

The Basic White inside panel gets flowers applied to the right edge using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of 2022-2024 In Color 6′ x 6″ DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Cup of Tea

Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea stamp bundle which include the Teacup Dies, a die from Blooming Happiness Dies flowers from Perfectly Penciled DSP, and the Hive 3D Embossing Folder.

I always like Tic-Tac-Toe challenges so I am entering the challenge at the Paper Players this week.  I went down the middle row.

It is National Best Friends Day at Festive Friday challenge and as this is a card for a friend, so this is a good card for the challenge. I chose Friendship, Ribbon, Embossing, and Sparkle.

I started with embossing a panel of Basic White card stock using a die from the Blooming Happiness Dies and another panel using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder.

I matted both embossed pieces on panels of Basic Black card stock. Adhered the one over the other and wrapped a length of Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon around the panels adhering in the back with Mini Glue Dots.  I made a bow from the same red ribbon that will be popped on after all the other elements are added.

I cropped and colored flowers from Perfectly Penciled DSP using Stampin’ Blends Marker in Sweet Sorbet, Daffodil Delight, and Soft Succulent Markers.  A teacup stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea stamp set is stamped on a panel of Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Memento Black ink and then cropped using a die from  Teacup Dies. The flowers are arranged in the teacup and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A greeting is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and cropped.  A piece of the red ribbon is rolled up, adhered to the greeting tag and attached to the teacup handle.  Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped around the card front. A Rhinestone Basic Jewel is colored using a Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Marker and popped on the greeting.

The sentiment panel gets flowers that match the card front adhered in the corner.  The sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea stamp set.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Brights 6′ x 6″ DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts with Abigail Rose

Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts with Abigail Rose

I know there are not many hours of Memorial Day left where I live, but I am posting anyway as the host company has been working on my blog all day.  Hope it works now.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set for the greeting, a panel of Abigail Rose DSP for the focal panel, and the Hive 3D Embossing Folder for the background panel.

My challenge is with Sunday Stamps.  I think the design for this challenge is really cool.

The card base is  Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder.  The panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cropped a piece of Basic White card stock using a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. It is embossed using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder and adheres behind a piece of Abigail Rose DSP that has been cropped with another die from Stitched Rectangle Dies. It is cropped again at an angle giving two pieces. These two pieces are adhered to a Basic White piece to give stability to the DSP.  Two of the flowers are colored using a Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Marker and Night of Navy watercolor pencil and a Blender Pen. Once adhered together the piece is popped on the background embossed panel.  A stamp from Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and cropped using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  It is popped over the focal piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Three different sizes of the Glossy Dot Assortment Gems are popped on the card front.

A piece of the Abigail Rose DSP is fussy cut, colored using the same colors as on the card front then adhered to the Basic White panel.  The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Abigail Rose DSP adhered to the envelope flap and two flowers are colored to match the card front.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.
