Stampin’ Up! Gift Box

Stampin’ Up! Gift Box

I have made another gift box to share with you today.  This one is embossed using the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder and a die from the Basic Border Dies.  You can see my other box here.

I am entering The Paper Funday Challenges for this creation.

Start with a 8-1/4″ x 11″ piece of Sweet Sorbet card stock.  Score along the 8-1/4″ side at 1/2″, 1-1/2″ turn the piece around and score from the other side the same way.  Score along the 11″ side at 2-1/2″ and 3-1/2″ turn the piece around and score from the other side the same way.  You can see in the diagram how far to cut the score lines.  Cut a little piece out of each flap, and angle it so it will look like a wedge.  This is your card base. Using a die from Basic Borders Dies crop the top of the piece as shown in the diagram above.  I used a different die than the one shown in the above photo.  You can see the die I used in the photo below.

I cut two pieces of Sweet Sorbet card stock cropping one using a die from Basic Border Dies.  I then embossed both pieces using the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder.  Adhere the piece that has been cropped to the top of the flap as you see in the photo above.  Adhere the other piece to the bottom portion of the box.  These pieces are adhered while the box is still flat.  Adhere three Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls.

I cut a piece of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper cropping using a die from Basic Border Dies and stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend stamp set. I adhered this piece to the inside of the flap as shown in the above photo.  Cut a strip of Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper for the belly band.  Stamp a flower from Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp set in Blushing Bride ink. Stamp the leaves in Shaded Spruce ink.  Adhere the flower and leaves to a Basic White circle cropped using Layering Circle Dies, then pop the circle on the belly band using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped a greeting using Sweet Sorbet ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cutting and adhering to a scrap of Sweet Sorbet card stock.  The greeting is popped on the circle using Glue Dots.

Cut a piece of Blushing Bride card stock 4-1/4″ x 6″.  On the 4-1/4″ side score down both sides at 3/4″, fold and score.  This is your tray for your pieces of candy.  Run a strip of Stampin’ Seal down both sides of the tray near the score line. This tape is to lay your candy pieces on so they will stay secure in the tray.  The strip shown in the photo is to wrap around each piece of candy.

Once you have all your candy piece wrapped and in the tray, you can slide the tray into the box as shown above.  You can also slide the belly band over the box being careful so the edge of the box doesn’t become frayed.

This is how the box looks once the belly band is in place.

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Just Want To Say!

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Just Want To Say!

The card I am sharing today is a CAS of one Mary Deatherage created.  I went to Pinterest to get some ideas, they all seem to have left my brain these days.  I was looking through and come upon this one, thinking “Oh this is beautiful it will make a beautiful card.  I started looking at how to create it and realized I did not know how the top part was tilted forward, so I clicked on the picture and where I go but to Mary’s blog.  No wonder I loved the card.  I think I may just start CASing her cards so my brain can rest for a while, it is so overloaded these days

I am entering the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I choose Heart, Free, Die Cut.

I started with a panel of Sweet Sorbet card stock cut at 4-1/4″ x 11 scored at 5-1/” and 6-3/4″.  Fold the card in half as usual, then fold the other score line in the opposite direction.  Apply Multipurpose Liquid Glue in the space between the score line and adhere it to the bottom portion of the card.  This creates your card base.  A 1″ x 4″ piece of Balmy Blue card stock is cut and a 7/8″ x 3-7/8″ piece of Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper is cut and adhered to it and then adhered to the top portion of the card.

I cut three pieces of Balmy Blue card stock, one is cut 1″ x 4″, and the other two pieces are cut 4″ x 4″.  I cut two pieces of Basic White card stock 3-7/8″ x 3-7/8″.  I embossed the two pieces of Basic White card stock using Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder after the sprigs are stamped in Mossy Meadow ink onto the Basic White panel.  I also stamp extra sprigs that I fussy cut to add extra sprigs to the hearts on the card front.

Two hearts are fussy cut from Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper.  On heart is stamped in Blushing Bride ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. I fussy cut this heart also as I could not find my punch.  The hearts and sprigs are arranged on the embossed panel and adhered with either Stampin’ Dimensionals or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Bling is added from Iridescent Pastel Gems, Fine Sparkle Adhesive Back Gems, and Iridescent Sequins from a Paper Pumpkin.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White panel.  A heart & sprigs from the same stamp set are stamped in Blushing Bride and Mossy Meadow ink.  The Basic White panel is then adhered to a Balmy Blue card stock mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered to the card base.

Basic White medium envelope gets a heart stamped to the envelope flap in Blushing Bride ink, the leaves are Mossy Meadow ink.

Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms

Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms

The card I am sharing today is one created with a new product available on March 1 to customers.  One advantage of being a demonstrator is to get to pre-order items that will soon be released.  As with all new products, everyone gets excited about creating new cards, if you check on Pinterest and other sites you will see the same design card from 10 people, I suppose in the beginning there are just a few ideas for cards flying around, later on you start seeing more and more designs that are different.  My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set and Dies.

I started with a Blushing Bride card base, adding a piece (yes, I still have it) of Pretty Peacock card stock as the mat for the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper.

I am entering Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge.

Using a die from Irresistible Blooms Dies I cropped a piece of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using Versa Mark ink I stamped a flower from Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set on a piece of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper, I sprinkled White Embossing Powder over the image and set it with a heat tool.  I fussy cut it along with two others from a piece of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper.

Leaves are stamped in Soft Succulent ink on a piece of the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper and fussy cut and adhered to the flowers using Glue Dots.  I also cropped leaves from a piece of the same Designer Series Paper and sponged them with a sponge dauber using Evening Evergreen ink.  I popped three Loose Frosted Dots on the card front using Glue Dots.  I also popped three Iridescent Basic Pearl Jewels on the card front.

I adhered a piece of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper to a piece of Pretty Peacock car stock, adhering the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card base.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend Just For You

Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend Just For You

Today I am sharing an envelope gift box created to put Valentine treats for a few people.  It was easy to create after, I had watched 8 different videos on creating to see how it was created. I used Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper, Basic Borders Dies, and Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy stamp set, and Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance stamp set.

Cut two pieces of Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper 2-5/8″ x 5-5/8″. Using the same die used to crop the top flap of the box crop one piece of the Designer Series Paper.  Adhere this piece to the top of the flap, (see diagram above)  Adhere the other piece to the bottom as shown in the diagram using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Fold the flaps in and adhere using the adhesive of your choice.  I used Tear & Tape.  It looks as if the Designer Series Paper is upside down, but once the envelope box is assembled the hearts will be going in the right direction.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance stamp set is stamped in Basic Gray ink on a scrap of Blushing Bride card stock.  It is trimmed and adhered to a larger strip of Sweet Sorbet card stock then popped on the envelope box front using Glue Dots.  A bow is made using a piece of Basic White Organza Ribbon (retired I believe).  It is popped over the greeting using a Glue Dot. I fussy cut 4 hearts from Stampin’ Up! Country Flora Lane Designer Series Paper, adhering them together to make the lock for holding the flap of my envelope box.  I adhered the heart to the bottom of the envelope box using two Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Cut a piece of Blushing Bride card stock 2-5/8″ x 5-5/8″, crop using the same die from Basic Borders Dies.  Stamp in Basic Gray ink a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy stamp set onto the Blushing Bride piece. Stamp hearts from Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Stamp Set in Real Red ink.  Adhere the piece to the inside flap.

To create the tray for the candy, cut a piece of Blushing Bride card stock 4-1/4″ x 6″ with the 4-1/4″ at the top score down 3/4″ down each side. I wrapped my candy pieces in Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper, cut the strips 1-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ for the wrap.  Run two strips of double side tape down the middle of the tray to hold your candy in place.  I can see from my diagram, I forgot to do that but will do it before I give it to the recipient.

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Bouquet — Just Want To Say…

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Bouquet — Just Want To Say…

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Cottage Bouquet stamp set.  I also used the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder.

My inspiration for the design of this card comes from the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base, embossing a panel of the same using the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder. I also embossed a panel of Starry Sky card stock using the same embossing folder. The three hearts are punched from Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper using the Country Bouquet Punch.  They are embossed using Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

A panel of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper is cut and adhered over the Quatrefoil Tile Embossed piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The Starry Sky panel is adhered over the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper panel.  The hearts are arranged on the card front to resemble kits.  I drew a half circle using one of the Stylish Shapes Dies, then cut strips to create the kit strings.  I cropped the three bows from using a die from Playing In The Rain Dies

Iridescent Basic Pearls are scattered around the card front.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set is stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink on a Basic White scrap and then fussy cut.  It is popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set is stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink on a Basic White card stock panel, the panel is matted on a Starry Sky card stock piece.  The piece is then adhered over the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper panel.  A heart is punched from a scrap of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper using the Country Bouquet Punch.  it is popped in the corner of the sentiment panel.

Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
