Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow

I hope your day is going well.  It looks to be a great one.

The card I am sharing today is created using one of the new stamp sets Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow, available May 4 to customers.  It is definitely going to be loved by all for all occasions. It reminds me of the Butterfly Basic set from a few years ago.  I loved that set.  This one does have the butterfly, but you can add a butterfly from one of the butterfly stamp sets Stampin’ Up! has.  There are several to choose from.

This is one of my challenges for the day, Try Stampin’ On Tuesday.  They always have such great sketches to help your card making along.

And Watercooler Wednesday – Dawn’s Challenge: All About Occasions.  This is a birthday card and I like to put Thinking of You as the greeting so I can say Happy Birthday when I write a note inside.

I started with a card base of Highland Heather, adding a panel from the Hand Penned DSP (available May 4 to customers) that has been matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock.

Another piece of the Hand Penned DSP is used to cut the strip down the middle.  This strip is also matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock.

An oval is cropped from a panel of Basic White card stock using the largest die from the Stitched Shape Dies, retiring May 4.  The largest flower image from the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on this oval.  It is then colored using Dark & Light Rococo Rose  Stampin’ Blends Markers, retiring May 4, so if you like this color the way I do you need to stock up before the supply is gone. and Dark & Light Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The art piece is matted using Basic Black card stock, then popped over the center of the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The greeting from the stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut, then matted on a Basic Black scrap which is also fussy cut and popped on the bottom of the art piece.  Three jewels from the 2021-2023 Incolor Jewels are popped around the card front.  Looking at the card you will assume the jewels are Basic Pearls, but they are the jewels from the 2021-2023 Incolor Jewels.

A narrow strip of the Hand Penned DSP is adhered down the side of a Basic White card stock panel and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card inside for writing a birthday message.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hand Penned DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments with True Love

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments with True Love

It is a rainy day in Georgia!  Hopefully, Sunday will be sunny and warm.  Today is a chilly one.  Any plans for the next two days. Thank you to the people who work weekends to make my life easier and safer.

Easy card today, but it sure is taking me a long time to get to my blog posting, I accidentally deleted my Stampin’ Up! folder with all my files of SU.  Boy was I in a panic!  I search on the internet and found how to recover it.  I had it all saved on a Flash Drive.  Do not ask how I did it all I know is I have my files again even if it did take me 5 hours to accomplish it.  I even asked on our group page if anyone knew how to recover but no success, I guess all are like me and mostly know computer basics.  What a relief.

My card features True Love DSP, Quite Curvy Stamp Set, and Beautiful Moments Stamp Set.  I started with a Basic White card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.  After all the other element were popped on this embossed panel it was adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

My inspiration design comes from the My Favorite Things Challenge.

I cut a strip of the True Love DSP and adhered down the left side of the card front.  A circle for the greeting was cropped using the Stitched Circle Dies. The greeting is from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set.  I colored flowers from the True Love DSP using Pineapple Punch, Pale Papya, and Mint Macaron.  They were fussy cut as there are no dies for these beautiful flowers.

A bird from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and fussy cut, I know there are dies, but it was such a small piece.  It is colored using the same markers as the flowers.  A dragonfly is fussy cut from the Dragonfly Garden DSP and popped on the card front with two of the Holiday Rhinestones added to it. One of the rhinestones is also popped above the greeting.

More flowers from True Love DSP are colored and fussy cut and adhered to the sentiment panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the True Love DSP.  The DSP matches the flowers on the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned

The card I am sharing today is created using cards from Stampin’ Up! Memories and More Card Pack. This makes for a quick easy card.

My design inspiration is the As You See It Challenge.

I started with a Mint Macaron card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.  A panel of Garden Green card stock is cut for a mat for the Hand Penned card.  The card is cropped using a Stitched So Sweetly Die. The negative portion is matted on the Garden Green panel then the cropped panel is popped back into the negative space.

A greeting from the Hand Penned Memories & More Card Pack is popped on the card front.

A sentiment from the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set is stamped in Mint Macaron ink on a panel of Basic White and a flower from the card pack is popped in the corner.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of DSP from the 2021-2022 Subtle 6″ x 6″ DSP.  The DSP matches the flowers on the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog today.  I hope you enjoy my card today.

My design inspiration for today is the Sketch Saturday Challenge.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style Stamp Set along with the Ornate Layers Dies.

I started with a Mint Macaron card stock base layering a panel of the new Fresh Freesia card stock (available May 4 to customers). It is cropped using the largest die from the Ornate Layers Dies.  A panel of Ornate Garden DSP is layered over the Fresh Freesia card stock panel. A panel of Basic White is cropped using another Ornate Layers Dies and layered over the Ornate Garden DSP.

The large spray of flowers from the Ornate Style Stamp Set is stamped using Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Basic White Thick card stock, then colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather,  Mint Macaron, and Blackberry Bliss. Linen Thread is looped around the card front a few times and the spray of flowers is popped over it using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set is stamped on a tag cropped using the Ornate Frame Dies. A bow from Linen Thread is tied onto the tag.  Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are placed around the card front and in the upper right corner of the Ornate Garden DSP.

The Basic White sentiment panel is left blank except for a strip of the Ornate Garden DSP.

A medium Basic White envelope gets poppies stamped on the flap and colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers as the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies are Flowers of Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies are Flowers of Friendship

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you are having a restful, peaceful day.

The Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Stamp Set, and The Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set (available May 4 to customers) to create the card I am sharing with you today.

My design inspiration is from Addicted To Stamps – Birthdays is the theme.

The Fusion Card Challenge for the design. I reversed the card making it portrait instead of landscape.  I used both the design and the theme of poppies.  Poppies are special to me so I am happy to see a card using it and happy Stampin’ Up! gives us another stamp set with poppies.

And for color, Just Add Ink Challenge is perfect for my images.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base adding a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Glue. A greeting from the Here’s A Card Stamp Set (retiring) was stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink before embossing.

I stamped poppies using Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Basic White Thick card stock from two stamp sets, The Flowers of Friendship (available May 4 to customers) along with the current Painted Poppies.  I am so happy it is carrying over to the next catalog.

I colored the poppies using Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. The 1-1/2″ Basic White squares with the poppies from Painted Poppies are matted on a strip of DSP adhering to the right side of the card front after coloring.  The other poppies from both stamp sets are fussy cut after coloring and arrange in the Petal Pink pitcher.  Some are popped on with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and some are adhered using Glue Dots.

A greeting from the Prettiest Birthday Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White that has poppies stamped and colored across the bottom of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets poppies stamped on the flap and colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers as the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

One day maybe I can get back to a regular schedule of posting my blogs for now I post when I have a free minute and sometimes that minute can take all day. So I post when I can.  Pray things will return to normal one day.
