Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms with Grace’s Garden

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms with Grace’s Garden

Happy sunny Saturday or I hope it is sunny where you are!

The card I am sharing today is another made using Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms.  I have also used the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Inspiration for my challenge today is from Addicted to Stamps and More — theme this week is Make Your Mark.

And Little Red Wagon Challenge — their theme is flowers

I started with a Basic White card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder, then adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card base.

A panel of the Hand Penned DSP is cropped using an Ornate Frames Die and adhered over the embossed panel.  Blossoms from the Forever Blossom Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Basic White card stock panel then cropped using a Stitched So Sweetly Die.  The blossoms are colored using Melon Mambo ink and alcohol.  I mixed the two together and then used extra alcohol to get the right color of pink. I used a Stampin’ Blends Color Blender marker that no longer worked to add the ink to the blossoms.  The leaves are colored using a Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Marker.

The blossoms are also stamped on the top of the inside panel leaving ample space for a note of birthday wishes, thinking of you, sympathy, or any type of note.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hand Penned DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World

I forgot to give credit yesterday for CAS(E)ing  Nikki Spencer from Australia.

Happy Memorial Day weekend.  I hope everyone has a great weekend and that you will share with your children, if you have children, what this day is all about, honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Stamp Set and Whale of A Time DSP.  This is not my usual card type, but I thought I would make one with no flowers.  This is for my grandson’s graduation from college with a Master’s in some sort of Biomedical Research.

Try Stampin’ On Tuesday is my design inspiration for today.  I liked creating the window card, kind of neat.

And Watercooler Wednesday Challenge — Cathy’s Challenge All About Occasions.  My occasion is my grandson’s graduation from college.

I started with a Basic White card stock base.  I cut the front panel at 1-1/8″ in order to add the window cut from a panel of window sheet.  The window piece is cut 1-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ and adhered to the top portion of the card front using Mini Glue Dots.  The bottom portion below the window is 3″ x 4-1/4″.  The flag piece is 1-1/8″ x 1-1/8″ and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Whale of A Time DSP is cut to the same measurements as the card front and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Stamp Set is stamped in Pacific Point ink on the top portion of the card.  Two turtles are fussy cut and popped on the Pacific Point flag.

The sentiment panel which shows through the window is a panel of the same DSP and has the sentiment stamped in Pacific Point ink in the upper corner.  The panel has been matted on another panel of the Whale of A Time DSP.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Whale of A Time DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies

Happy Day everyone.  You are one day closer to a three-day weekend, are you excited.  Once upon a time we would be camping in the mountains between North Carolina and Tennessee.  You had to have a jeep to get to the camp or walk.  My friend and I usually would walk because it was so rugged and scary in places that we chose to walk.  We could walk faster than the jeeps could go.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin” Up! Painted Poppies Stamp Set, the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set, the Poppy Moment and Painted Label Dies.

My inspiration for today comes from the Double D Challenge.  I chose the poppies as it is May and soon Memorial Day.

I started with a Basic White card stock base with a panel of the same cropped using a die from the Poppy Moment Dies.  This panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue in several spots.

The poppies from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set are stamped on Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.  Let the ink dry well or use your heat tool to dry before you color.  I learned the hard way. The ink will run and I have never had that before with Memento ink when using alcohol markers.  The poppies are colored using Poppy Parade, Petal Pink, Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, and the Color Blender Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I had a hard time getting the color of pink I wanted,  I can not tell you how many combinations I tried in order to get that pink.  Petal Pink is just not that color and there is no Blushing Bride marker.  Granny Apple Green is used for the leaves.

The poppies are arranged and popped on the card front over the cropping using Mini Glue Dot.  Several Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are scattered around the card front.  I only used a portion of the greeting from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set.

A poppy from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set is stamped in the corner of a Basic White panel and colored using the Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green markers, then popped on the card base.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern

Can we call this Wacky Wednesday?  That is usually the way it goes.  Hope your day is going fantastic.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Stamp Set and the new 2021-2023 In colors Classic Stamp Pads, along with the Ornate Frames Dies, the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, and a butterfly from the Brilliant Wings Dies.

Sunday Stamps has some great colors for their challenge this week, so I have chosen to participate as their colors match the new In colors so well.

I started with a card base of Soft Succulent card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.  The embossed panel is adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A Basic White card stock panel is cropped using a die from the Ornate Frame Dies.  This panel is also adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using the Forever Fern Stamp Set and the new In Colors the images are stamped in Polished Pink, Evening Evergreen, Pale Papaya and an old basic Calypso Coral ink.  Once all are stamped they are cropped using the Forever Flourishing Dies.  I then arranged them on the Basic White card stock panel, took a picture so I would know how to adhere them on the panel and then adhered.  I cropped a butterfly from Basic White card stock using a butterfly die from the Brilliant Wing Dies.

Using the dot stamp from the Forever Fern Stamp Set, dots are stamped in Evening Evergreen around the floral arrangement.  A greeting is stamped in Soft Succulent ink on the Basic White panel in the upper corner.  A Champagne Basic Jewel is popped beside the greeting.

Two images from the Forever Fern Stamp Set is stamped in Pale Papaya and Evening Evergreen ink on a Basic White panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets art using Forever Fern stamped to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow

Terrific Tuesday everyone, hope your day is going fantastic with no glitches.

The card I am sharing today is the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Stamp Set along with the Scalloped Contours Dies and the Stitched With Whimsy Dies.

The inspiration today is from Make My Monday – theme Floral Birthday.  I made a bouquet of flowers with a ribbon around it. The happy birthday sentiment is inside.  I always like to put something other than Happy Birthday on the card front so the person receiving is surprised as to what kind of card I am sending.  I like to put “Thinking of You” or “Hello” on the front.

This was a quick and simple card to make as everything is created using Basic White card stock.  The base has a panel of the card stock embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder adhered to the front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A panel of the Basic White card stock is cropped using the Scalloped Contour Dies, I believe this is the largest one, it is then embossed using the Stitched With Whimsy Dies.  This panel is popped on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Before the Scalloped Contour panel is popped on a greeting from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set is stamped in Balmy Blue ink.  A bunch of flowers is stamped using Smoky Slate ink in the middle of the panel.  Another bunch is stamped and fussy cut and then popped on each side of the bunch stamped on the Basic White panel.  All the flowers are colored using Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green ink. The Blushing Bride twine I used to make a bow is from a Paper Pumpkin Kit.  It is popped on with a Glue Dot. Three Pearl Basic Jewels are placed around the card front.

A panel of Basic White card stock is cropped using the Scalloped Contour largest die and the sentiment from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set and the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set, soon to be retired, is stamped in Balmy Blue ink.

A medium Basic White envelope gets embossed on the envelope flap using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
