Stampin’ Up! All The Best

Stampin’ Up! All The Best

The card I am sharing today is created using some of the elements of the December Paper Pumpkin All The Best.  The above stamp set is the one that come with the kit.

I added a Basic White card stock card base , trimming one of the card base from the kit to create the background for the wreath.  On one of the circle labels, a greeting is stamped in Pebble Path ink.  It is a stamp from the set.  I cut the word luck off of the greeting I used.  I like it the way I stamped  it on  the label.  The label is popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Flowers from the kit are arranged around the greeting circle creating a wreath look.  Balmy Blue jewels from the kit are popped around the card front.

A greeting Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments is stamped in Pebble Path ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Dandelions from the stamp set are stamped on the panel in Crushed Curry and Old Olive ink.  The panel is then  matted on a panel of Balmy Blue card stock and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Had you guessed by now that my card is a fun fold?  Of course, I had to end up making this an easel card.

This is a side view of the card you can see where the card is folded  and how it stand once it is place behind the two dandelions.

A Basic White envelope gets dandelions stamped on the envelope flap using Crush Curry and Old Olive ink.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made — Hello

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made — Hello

The card I am sharing today is a good way to use up Designer Series Paper before it retires.  I feel like this card is a one piece it is so easy to create.  Samantha Magie created a card similiar to this sometime back and I thought it would be nice to make one, so I suppose I am CASing her card.

Basic White card stock is the card base.  A die from Scalloped Contour Dies is used to die cut the edge of the front panel.  I did not realize it until I had the card made but I have it opening on the right side instead of the usual left.

One piece of the foliage is die cut from Moody Mauve card stock using a die from Gorgeously Made Dies.  Others are die cut  from All About Autumn Designer Series Paper and Pretty Peacock card stock from the same die set. These are arrange on the card front over one of the foliage that has been stamped in Pretty Peacock ink using a stamp Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made stamp set.  2023-2025 In Color Dots are popped around the card front.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on a Basic White scrap of card stock then popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Two pieces of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper are adhered to the inside of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  One of the pieces is die cut to match the card front.  Two sentiments are stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White card stock.  Before the pieces of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is adhered all around the card two pieces of Moody Mauve 3/8″ Textured Ribbon is adhered under the edge of the Designer Series Paper so the card can be held together by tying a bow on the side when the card is closed.

A piece of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is adhered to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Beary Christmas — Hello

Stampin’ Up! Beary Christmas — Hello

Still making Christmas cards.  I know Christmas is soon, but I have a few that I forgot to make.  Had all the pieces cut since October but kept putting them off.  Now it is crunch as Christmas is in a few days.  But these are hand delivered so it will be fine.

The only stamping on this card is the greeting and sentiment.  I used Stampin’ Up! Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper.  When I looked at he paper I knew it would make a great fun fold card.

I am entering the Creative Creases Challenge for this card.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base, adding a panel of Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I know that Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place stamp set is retired, but I just had to use it with this Designer Series Paper, I always think of penguins and polar bears together, whether they really are or not.  I had to borrow a stamp set as I do not have it, but wish I had purchased now. My cute little penguin is created from a piece of black glitter card stock that I borrowed also.  The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set.  I had to do a little masking to get just the word HELLO.  I put a ribbon around the card to close it better as it is a thick fun fold.

You can see from the Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper that I am using what a great piece it is for a fun fold.  This card I cut the fun fold all in one piece, later  I will show both cards I made as fun fold, the other one I cut the fun fold in two piece so I could layer it but I think by layers it made the card thicker.  The penguins are placed around the card joining the polar bears in creating the  fun scene.  The penguins are stamped from Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place stamp set. The scarves, bow ties, hair bow and knit caps are stamped, then fussy cut and adhered to each penguin. Adhesive Backed White Sequins from Adhesive Backed Sequin Trio are popped around the card front and inside. Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper  is used as the background.  I think the blue piece makes for a good background as the blue looks like a snowy sky.

You can see in this photo how the inside layer is folded.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place stamp set is stamp in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, trimmed and adhered to the top of the right side panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

These are the two fun folds I made. The one on the left is only one layer inside, the one on the write is two layers, one layer is the two the one with the two penguins, the other is the one with the one penguin.  He looks like he is resting on the top of the first layer but he is adhered to the second layer by the blue tree and the bear with the Christmas tree.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper but a different pattern . The piece is cut 2-1/4″ x 6″ and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood

Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood

Are you ready for Christmas and just waiting for the excitement of the coming day?  I’m still in the Christmas card mode.  I still have a few to make and I know they will be late but just want friends to know I am thinking of them.

This is another sneak peak of what’s coming in January. Stampin’ Up!! Detailed Dogwood stamp set   is a Sale-a-Bration free stamp set with a qualifying order.  I know Stampin’ Up! doesn’t carry over SAB items to another catalog, but this is one stamp set I wish that could happen for.   I also used Exposed Brick 3 D Embossing Folder and a panel of Designer Series Paper from Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper.  I don’t believe I have ever made a card that Stampin’ Up! shows in the catalogs, so I have decided to try and make as many of them as possible.  This one is from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.

I am entering the Can You Handle The Pressure? Challenge for this card.

The card stock is Flirty Flamingo for the card base.  I embossed a panel of the same using the Exposed Brick 3 D Embossing Folder. This panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A panel of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper is adhered over the embossing panel after having the edges roughed up and the edges  brushed with Crumb Cake ink using a Blending Brush. This panel is adhered at a slight angle

Flowers from Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood stamp set is stamped in Smoky Slate ink on Basic White card stock then colored using Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Using Calypso Coral ink, dots are stamp across the bottom of the Nature’s Sweetness  panel using a stamp from the same stamp set.  A strip of Vellum  and Natural Wavy Trim are adhered around the card front above the dots.  The flower piece is popper over them using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using  two decorative  stamps from the stamp set one is stamped on the Nature’s Sweetness panel, the other is stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock fussy cut and popped on the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional. Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels are colored using a Calypso Coral Stampin Blends Marker, then popped on the card front.  A Linen  Thread double bow is made and popped on the flower stem using a Mini Glue Dot.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set is stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock in a combination of Flirty Flamingo and Crumb Cake ink to achieve the color showing.  The greeting is die cut using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies, then adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White panel get a sentiment from December Paper Pumpkin and Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set stamped in the same ink combination as the greeting.  A row of the dots are stamped in Calypso Coral ink across the bottom of the panel.  A flower from Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood stamp set is stamped in Crumb Cake ink, then colored using the same colors  as the card front flowers.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock embossed using the Exposed Brick 3 D Embossing Folder. The piece is cut 2-1/4″ x 6″ and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet — Hello

Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet — Hello

I am sharing a little sneak peek of one of the stamp sets in the new Jan.-April 2024 Mini catalog.  I love this stamp set the minutes I saw it in the catalog.  I was so happy when it arrived.  I used Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper, Pecan Pie card stock, with a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow Stamp Set. The inside sentiment is from the December 2023 Paper Pumpkin and Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Stamp Set.

I am entering the Creative Creases Challenge for this card.

As this is not your normal fold card, you will start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Pecan Pie card stock for the card base.  Next you will need a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper cut 5-1/4″ x 8.  Score this piece at 2″ and 4″, fold and burnish well.  Adhere this piece to the Pecan Pie card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut a piece of Pecan Pie card stock, 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ embossing using Exposed Brick 3 D Embossing Folder.  Adhere this piece to the 2″ side of the card front.  Only put glue on a portion of the card that covers the 2″ section.  If you put glue on the entire piece, you will glue your card closed.  Fussy cut from one of the panel of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper the arrangement you see on the card front.  Color using Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I used the Balmy Blue to lightly at tint to the two flowers.  I used the Bronze Stampin’ Blends Maker to go around the circle behind the flowers to give a bit of distinction between the embossed piece and the circle behind the flowers as they are the same color.  After coloring the flower piece is adhered to the embossed piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Three Adhesive Backed Cork Rounds are popped around the card front.  A piece of Gold Faux Leather Trim is adhered under the greeting from Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow Stamp Set.  The greeting is stamped in Memento Black Ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut and popped over the Gold Faux Leather Trim.

A piece of Pecan Pie card stock is cut the same size as the one on the card front. It is adhered to the inside of the card.  I find the best way to make sure the card on the inside is not seen when the card is closed is to position the piece over the one on the front, put the adhesive over it and then close the card back, this will make sure the card is in the right position not to be seen when the card is closed.  A sentiment from the December 2023 Paper Pumpkin and Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a 2-7/8″ x 3-7/8″ Basic White card stock piece, then adhered to the Pecan Pie mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of the Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper a different pattern for the envelope flap.  Cut the piece for the envelope 2-1/4″ x 6″, adhere using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. If you love card making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.

The September–December 2023 Mini Catalog is retiring soon! It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to a Stampin’ Up! catalog, but we’re looking forward to all the new products on their way—and we hope you are, too!

From  November 21, 2023– January 3,  2024, you can stock up on your favorite seasonal products and save up to 60% on essential craft supplies!  After all, a selection of Last Chance Products will only be available while supplies last.

For all the details about this steal of a deal—and the information you need —keep reading!

This Last Chance Products promotion will include two lists: a retiring list and a carryover list. The retiring list details the products that will no longer be available once the catalog is gone. The carryover list details the products that will be moving to an upcoming catalog or the online exclusive category.

  • Not all items on the Last Chance Products List will be discounted.
  • All products are available while supplies last, and there are no purchase limits.
  • Discounted items can be added to a Starter Kit and redeemed as a 50% off item or with Stampin’ Rewards.
  • Only orders opened and closed during the promotion period apply.
  • Stamp sets are not guaranteed during this promotion and are while supplies last.
  • Discounts are automatically applied when sale items are added to any order, including Starter Kits.
