Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods
Happy chilly Sunday. Get a good book and curl up and read and don’t venture out in this chilliness. A nice blanket to wrap up in will be nice.
The card I am sharing today is from the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods stamp set and the Stampin’ Up! In The Woods dies.
The challenges for today are with Inspire. Create — Theme: Die Cutting. I have lot of that with this card.
And… As You See It — Theme: Trees

The first thing I did in creating this card was to cut a panel from a sheet of Stampin’ Up! Balmy Blue card stock for the art panel. I then stamped the trees in Gold Delicata ink using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods stamp set. This had to dry for a while and I ended up drying with the heat tool it was taking so long. I then cropped two of the trees from the In The Wood Dies and colored them by laying them on the Gold Delicata ink pad and pressing down to adhere the color. Again I dried with the heat tool because they never seem to dry.

Another of the tree dies from the In The Woods Dies was used to cut the evergreens. The trees were stamped with Stampin’ Up! Craft Whisper White ink using the speckles stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront Stamp Set so as to give the appearance of snow on the trees as the sky had been stamped to give the appearance of snow. A bow made with ribbon from the Stampin’ Up! Christmastime Is Here Suite is adhered to the bottom of the evergreens after the Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler mat is adhered to the art piece.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler card stock mat for the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper (DSP) background panel. The greeting is stamped using Versa Mark ink and then Stampin’ Up! Gold Embossing Powder is sprinkled on and then heat set using the heat tool.

The sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Christmastime Is Here Stamp Set Suite and is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce ink as is the tree in the corner.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a bit stamping using a small evergreen tree stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Winter Wood Stamp Set on the front corner and the envelope flap.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

The card I am sharing today is from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas stamp set and the Stampin’ Up! Toile Tiding Designer Series Paper.
The cardinal from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas stamp set is stamped using Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. The cardinal is then colored using Stampin’ Blend Markers in Light Real Red, Light Cherry Cobbler, Light Old Olive, and Light Mango Medley.
The word Merry from the Stampin’ Up! Merry Christmas dies is cropped four times from Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler card stock and adhered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. After popping the word on the card, it was highlighted with a Wink of Stella to give some sparkle.
The inside sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas stamp set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Garden Green ink.
The Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla envelope gets a bit of the Stampin’ Up! Toile Tidings DSP on the front corner and the envelope flap cover with it.

This was an easy card again to make, just a few snips and cuts and a bit of fussy cutting and it was finished. The card base is Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock with a mat for the art pieces that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.
The art pieces have a Basic Black mat and a Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake art piece that has been sprinkled with Tuxedo Memento Black ink using the sprinkle stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront Stamp Set.
The feathers are fussy cut from a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad DSP. The feathers make me think of Fall leaves that have changed colors, therefore, I am also playing at
I cropped the word “thanks” 4 times using the die from the Stampin’ Up! Well Written Dies, three from Basic Black card stock and one from Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze card stock.

The card I am sharing today is from the Stampin’ Up! Christmastime Is Here Suite. This is a limited edition stamp set and will be available for sale on November 1.

The card I am sharing today is from two stamp sets, Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Snow Front Stamp Set. You need both these sets in your stash as there are so many options with these two sets.

I added little snippets of dried grass also stamped in black ink. The mountains are stamped in Stampin’ Up! Smoky Slate ink. Again, I used watercolor pencils for the sky. Stampin’ Up! Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins are used on the card front randomly. The greeting is stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink using the “Thinking of You” stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Stamp Set.
