Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty — Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty — Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set and Dies is used today to create the card I am sharing with you.  I also used Stampin’ Up! Beach Days stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set.  I also used the large die from Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora Dies to create the background piece for this card.

  1. Start with a Bubble Bath card stock card base.
  2. Cut another panel of Bubble Bath cardstock
  3. Die cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using a die from Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora Dies.
  4. Stamp the flower image from Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.
  5. Color the flower image using Bubble Bath and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.
  6. Die cut leaves from a piece of Garden Green cardstock using dies from Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty Dies.
  7. Adhere the Two Tone Flora piece to the Bubble Bath piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  8. Pop the flower image over the floral image using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  9. Tuck the Garden Green leaves around the floral image.
  10. Add sequins from Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins around the card front.
  11. Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set on a scrap of Basic White cardstock.
  12. Mat the greeting on a scrap of Bubble Bath cardstock.
  13. Pop the greeting over a double loop bow using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  14. Adhere the card front to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, making sure to only put glue on half of the panel. See photo.
  15. On a panel of Basic White cardstock stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set and Stampin Up! Lazy Days stamp set.
  16. Stamp a flower from Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set in the lower right corner of the sentiment panel.
  17. Color using the same colors as on the card front.
  18. Stamp another flower and color the same as the card front.
  19. Pop this second flower over the one in the right corner.  This creates the stop for the easel card.
  20. Adhere the sentiment panel to the inside of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  21. Emboss a panel of Basic White cardstock using an embossing folder of choice.
  22. Adhere the embossed panel to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  23. Cut two pieces of Basic White cardstock for the back of the card.  This gives extra space for writing.
  24. Die cut two leaves and two flowers and adhere to the corners of each panel.

One of the perks of being a demonstrator is that you get to pre-order before a new catalog  launches so you are able to show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.

Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora with Irresistible Blooms — Hello

Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora with Irresistible Blooms — Hello

I used two stamp sets in creating the card I am sharing with you today.  I used Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp set.  I also used Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and a die from Elegant Border Dies.  I think the mix of the two flowers creates a beautiful card.  Below is the diagram for creating the card base.

I am entering the Alphabet Challenge as their theme for this challenge is to create an easel card.

I am also entering Creative Creases Challenge as they are always a Fun Fold.

I found a diagram on Pinterest showing how to score and cut your card base to create the fun fold gate fold easel card.  I did not see a name, so thank you to the person who posted this so I did not have to draw a diagram.   The diagram explains well how the procedure is done.

My card base is Basic White card stock with mats of Shaded Spruce card stock.  I embossed the panel using Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the mats to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I die-cut a piece of Basic White card stock using a die from Elegant Border Dies.   I matted the piece on a Shaded Spruce card stock mat.  This mat becomes the easel.

I stamped flowers from Stampin’ Up! Irresistible Blooms stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Floral stamp set. I stamped Real Red ink with Bubble Bath ink,  Highland Heather ink with Fresh Freesia ink,  Mango Melody ink with Lemon Lolly ink, and Bubble Bath ink with Fresh Freesia ink. I stamped Moody Mauve, then stamped Versa Mark over it and sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder over it, and heated it with a heat tool.  I used a Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the inside of the flower.  The stop for the easel is a flower placed on the middle panel of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the flower on the panel.

I cut a 1″ strip of Shaded Spruce card stock to create the belly band,  using my bone folder to break the fibers of the strip of card stock down a bit so it folds easier.  I embossed the strip using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  I stamped a flower from Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Real Red ink and then Versa Mark over it.  I sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder over it and heat embossed using a heat tool. I colored the flower using a Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends Marker.  The sprig of leaves behind the flower is from Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp set and is stamped in Granny Apple Green ink.

A flower is adhered to each of the inside panels along with the flower arrangement on the section that becomes the easel when the card is opened.  I popped Tinsel Gems around the easel, side panels, and the belly band.

A Basic White envelope gets a flower from Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp stamped to the envelope flap using  Mango Melody and Lemon Lolly ink.
