Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Birthday Card
The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and the Sunflower Dies. A few days ago I watched Karen Ksenzakovic on a FB live and she was using the Celebrate Sunflower Stamp Set to create her card. Watching made me realize that Celebrate Sunflowers will probably be retiring in a few months and since I like it so well, I should use it while I can. Karen is a teammate from Amy’s Inkin’ Krew. 
My design inspiration comes from the Inspire Create Challenge. Challenge #099.
Taking a tip from watching Mary Deatherage on videos and FB lives, I decided to give what she does a try. I cut, cropped, stamped, and colored everything before assembling. I’m sure other of you do the same, but I’ve been a do what is to come next as I create. I think it may be easier Mary’s way.
I started with Cinnamon Cider card stock for the base. Pacific Point card stock for a mat. A piece of Basic White card stock embossed with the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder as part of the background panel. A panel of the Harvest Meadow DSP is the other part of the background panel.
The flowers are stamped from the Celebrate Sunflower Stamp Set and colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, and Soft Suede. The leaves are colored using Cherry Cobbler ink and So Saffron ink.
The Pacific Point card stock layer and the background layer are adhered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Crumb Cake twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack is wrapped around the panel between the Basic White and the Harvest Meadow panel. A bow is created using more of the Crumb Cake twine and popped on after all the sunflowers are popped on. A greeting from the Celebrate Sunflower Stamp Set is stamped in Soft Suede ink, fussy cut, and popped over the sunflowers on the card front.
A sentiment from the In Your Words Stamp Set is stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. Sunflowers are stamped in the lower corner and colored using the same markers as above.
A medium white envelope gets a panel of the Harvest Meadow DSP applied to the envelope flap.
