Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Thinking Of You card
The card I am sharing today is an ole favorite that is still in the current catalog. Too bad the DSP that went with this stamp set is not also included. It has only taken me 2 days to get this card finished. So this is my card for the last three days.
The design for my card comes from the Paper Players Sketch Challenge.
I started with a Basic White card stock base. Taking another panel of the same, I colored with Pacific Point ink for the blue and Soft Suede for the sand color. This panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I chose to make the angled panel in the sketch a frame. I created it using two of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. This is adhered over the blue panel.
All of the flower pieces are stamped on Basic White card stock using Soft Suede ink and colored using Pale Papya, Calypso Coral and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. The palm trees are stamped using a Stampin’ Ink Spot. These little ink spots are perfect for inking small items. A Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker is used as the ink for the Palm Tree trunk. After coloring these are popped into the frame along with the Old Olive greenery cropped using dies from the Forever Flourishing Dies. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink. The greeting is fussy cut and popped on the card front.
The sentiment is stamped in Old Olive ink onto the Basic White card stock panel. The palm tree are stamped in Old Olive ink and the Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker.
A medium Basic White envelope gets the envelope flap gets palm trees stamped on the flap using the Old Olive ink and the Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Stamp Set. It is a carryover to the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. I also use Love You Always DSP, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Meadow Moments Embossing Folder along the the card stock.
Cherry blossoms are also stamped in the corner and colored using Rococo Rose and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers, along with the color lifter marker. Mine was a bit dry, so I poured a little alcohol in a glass cup and dipped the marker in it then dropped the alcohol on the images of the cherries to get the color I desired.
Today’s card features an old favorite from the Annual Catalog. Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set is my choice for an anniversary card for my grandson and his wife. I am also using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder, the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
I received my paper shares yesterday. A lifesaver they are so to speak. I had also seen Jaimie Babarczy’s card and thought “Oh that would make a cute valentine for my great-granddaughter” — but I don’t have it– then Mary’s paper shares arrived and the rest is history as you will see. I even had to order the bundle for future use. Now on to the card.
I started with a Bermuda Bay card stock base, layering two different panels of the Snail Mail DSP over it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue after all the elements were added to the panels. A length of Double Stitched Red Ribbon is wrapped around the middle covering the joining spot of the two panels. Over the red ribbon, another length of ribbon with white dashes is wrapped, both ribbons are adhered with Glue Dots.
I cropped two circles using the Stitched Shapes Dies and the Layering Circle Dies, one from Basic White card stock that is embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and another from the Snail Mail DSP. A Bermuda Bay card stock heart is cropped using one of the heart dies from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. This heart is layered over the red Snail Mail DSP circle.
Two of the snails are fussy cut from a panel of the Snail Mail DSP and popped over the Bermuda Bay heart using Stampin’ Dimensionals. One of the tiny envelopes with a heart is also fussy cut and popped between the two snails. Using the die with the many hearts from the Stitched Be Mine Dies I cropped some Real Red hearts to pop on the corner of the top panel. 
Three of the Resin Hearts from the Snail Mail Suite Collection are randomly placed around the card front. A greeting from the Meant To Be Stamp Set is stamped in Real Red ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and cropped with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
The sentiment panel has a sentiment from the Meant To Be Stamp Set stamped in Real Red ink on the Basic White card stock panel. Hearts from the Meant To Be Stamp Set are stamped in the corners using Bermuda Bay ink.
The envelope flap gets a panel of the Snail Mail DSP and your card project is finished.
