Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is created using the greeting from the Special Moments Stamp Set, elements from the February Paper Pumpkin, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, and Vellum card stock, In Good Taste DSP, and Brushed Brass Butterflies.

Inspiration for my design is the Sketch Saturday Challenge.

And the Critter Crazy Challenges — anything goes with a featured critter.

I started with a card base of Soft Succulent card stock adding a layer of Evening Evergreen card stock that becomes the mat for the two pieces that is the background panel. These two pieces are portions of cards from the Safari Celebrations Paper Pumpkin. The panels are all adhered using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

A Vellum circle that is one of the elements from the Safari Celebration Paper Pumpkin Kit is adhered to the background panel and a cute elephant and leaves are popped over it. Crumb Cake twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack is looped behind the leaves a few times.

A strip of In Good Taste DSP is used to create one of the flags on the right side of the card front. The smaller flag is a scrap from the Safari Celebrations cards. Brushed Brass Butterflies are scattered around the card front.

A Basic White card stock panel is stamped with a stamp from the Safari Celebrations Stamp Set and matted on a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock then adhered to the card base.

The envelope is one from the Safari Celebrations Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Stampin’ Up Windmill Fields Thinking of You Card

Today, I am sharing another card created using the Windmill Fields Die. Yesterday’s card.

The card base is So Saffron card stock with a mat of Evening Evergreen card stock and a panel of New Horizon DSP as the background panel.

A panel of Flowering Fields is fussy cut and adhered at the bottom of the background panel. The windmill is cropped using a panel from the In Good Taste DSP and Crumb Cake DSP. The windmill blades are cropped from Basic White card stock. A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Stamp Set is stamped in Soft Suede ink at the top of the background panel. Brushed Brass Butterflies are scattered around the background panel.

A panel of Basic White card stock is matted on a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A small square of the Flowering Fields DSP is fussy cut and adhered in the corner of the panel.

The envelope flap of a Basic White envelope gets a panel of Flowering Fields DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia Hang In There Card

I am sharing another card today created using Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia Stamp Set. Remember, Calming Camellia is the gorgeous stamp set that is available during Sale-A-Bration.

The design inspiration for my card today is from the Paper Players Challenge. I embossed the upper portion of the card as the second part of the background instead of using two different DSPs. I think it goes best with this flower.

I am also entering the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More — their theme for this challenge is Make Your Mark.

I started with a card base of Smoky Slate, to this base I added a panel of Flowering Fields DSP that has the top portion embossed using one of the embossing folders from the Meadow Moments Embossing Folders. The reason only the top portion is embossed is the Paper Players challenge calls for two different DSPs or different options for the front. I chose to emboss the top because this goes well with the remaining elements of the card.

The art piece is an image from the Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia Stamp Set and is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. The flowers are colored using Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers and the leaves are colored using Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Marker. The image is then cropped using a Layering Circle Die from the Layering Circle Dies. It is then matted on a Blackberry Bliss card stock scalloped circle.

A length of Flowers For Every Season white ribbon is colored using a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends Marker, a length of Baker’s Twine Essential Pack white twine is colored using a Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Marker. These are then adhered onto the background panel and the art piece is popped over them using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Stamp Set is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and fussy cut and popped over the art piece.

The inside panel is a piece of the Flowering Fields DSP that has been matted onto a Blackberry Bliss card stock panel. A leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia Stamp Set is stamped in the lower corner using Blackberry Bliss ink. The sentiment is also from the Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia Stamp Set.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Flowering Fields DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Thinking of You Card 2

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Stamp Set for the greeting.

My design for this card is from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.

I started with a Poppy Parade card stock card base. I matted a piece of Flowering Fields DSP onto a Mossy Meadow card stock mat and adhered it to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped one of the tulips from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Stamp Set in Poppy Parade ink. The other is stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink. The stamping is a 2-step process so the first stamp will be stamped with ink that is full strength and the second stamp is with ink stamped off once. The stem and leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink. (Mary Deatherage has a super tutorial on how to do this two-step process. Here is the link to her video.

After stamping, the art piece is matted onto a Mossy Meadow card stock mat and adhered to the background panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The bows are made with ribbon that is colored using a Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Marker and a Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Marker. They are then adhered to the flower stems using a Mini Glue Dot.

A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Stamp Set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a small piece of Basic White card stock, then cropped using a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and popped over the ribbon using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Brushed Brass Butterflies are scattered around the card front.

The inside Basic White card stock panel for writing a message gets the same tulips as on the card front stamped in Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Flowering Fields DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
