Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is created using a stamp set I have had for two years but haven’t used, so I decided since this is probably the last year it will be current, I should use it.  I was on Pinterest looking for examples of cards that had been made with this stamp set, I found one that I like that Peggy Noe, I believe that was her name had made.

Four Seasons Challenge is one of my challenges for the day.  Their theme is always the season it is so it is still spring time so the challenge is SPRING.

My other challenge is the Festive Friday Challenge.  I am choosing Jars, Gingham (that’s my embossing folder, Stampin’ Up! Gingham Embossing Folder), Pastels, Twine, but mine is ribbon.  This could be a birthday card since it is a Thinking of You card.  The person who ordered a bunch of cards from me wanted the inside left blank, so she could use for different occasions.

I started with a card base of Basic White card stock, embossing a panel of the same using the Gingham Embossing Folder, applying to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cropped a panel of 2021-2023 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP using the largest die from the Scalloped Contour Dies.  This panel is then adhered over the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A Heart & Home Doily is adhered to the center of this panel.

One of the images from the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Flowers is stamped in Smoky Gray ink and colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Flirty Flamingo, Fresh Fressia, Balmy Blue, Basic Black, and Blushing Bride colors.  Greenery is punched using the Bough Punch and Pear Pizzazz card stock, the greenery is sponged around the edges using Old Olive ink.  The stems of the flowers are stamped on a piece of Vellum card stock, let dry, then the jar image is stamped over it.  The flowers and greenery are arranged over the doily then adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin Dmensionals.  A greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versaille stamp set (retired). I masked a portion of the greeting because I only wanted the Thinking of You.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets the same flower image as on the front of the card minus the jar, stamped in Smoky Slate ink and colored using the same color Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The panel is matted in Fresh Fressia card stock.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of 2021-2023 In Color DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are in the post instead of at the end of the post as they usually are.

Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Love You Friend

Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Love You Friend

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Stamp Set along with the Scalloped Contour Dies,  the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, and the Timber Embossing Folder.

My inspiration for today’s card design is coming from the Just Us Girls Challenge. The theme is black and white.  I believe everyone loves black and white cards, I know I do.

The card base is Basic White card stock embossed using the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder.  Usually, I will emboss a separate panel instead of actually embossing the card base.

A panel of Basic Black card stock is cropped using the largest Scalloped Contour Dies.  It is then embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder.  This panel is popped over the card base using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A flower from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  A greeting from the same stamp set is also stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  Several Matt Black Dots are scattered randomly around the card front.

A sentiment from the Shaded Summer Stamp set along with the same flower from the card front is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of DSP adhered to the envelope flap.  Did not realize it was not current until I got to this point in my blog.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch

Happy Thursday everyone.  I pray your day is off to a great start.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Bundle.  This stamp set can look complicated with all those tiny pieces, but once you use it is easier. This is a new set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and even though I was blessed to get to pre-order I have not used it but once.  So here I go, looking through Pinterest for designs on using this and I happened across Su Mohr’s card, so I CASEd it as it fit the design challenge perfectly.

As I said earlier this is my inspiration for the design of today’s card, the Sunday Stamps Challenge.

My card base is Soft Succulent card stock with a panel of Basic White card stock layered over it.  The Basic White panel is cropped using the largest die from the Scalloped Contour Dies, it is then embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.  I suppose this Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder is going to take the place of our favorite, Subtle Embossing Folder, too bad it retired.

I cropped all the pansy and leaves from Basic White card stock.  Thanks to Su, it was easier deciding which pieces made the pansy.

Using the Blending Brushes and Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, and Pale Papaya Stamp Pads, I colored the pansies and leaves.  I used Evening Evergreen Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the open leaves.  Using the Blending Brushes made coloring so easy and easier to get the color you wanted.  Once they were all colored I popped them on the Basic White embossed panel using Mini Glue Dots.  I used Wink of Stella to give a little glitz to the pansy bud.

For the inside panel, I cropped a panel of Basic White card stock to match the panel on the card front.  I fussy cut a pansy from a panel of the Pansy Petals DSP, added a leaf that was extra, and the outline for the pansy I had colored using a Blending Brush and the Polished Pink Stamp pad.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Pansy Petals DSP applied to the envelope flap. I used this particular Pansy Petals DSP panel because it has pink pansies on it.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
