Stampin with Shirley G

Hey everyone, can you believe it is Friday already, seems it was just here yesterday!  I’ve heard that time flies when you get older and you wonder where the time has gone. I will let you know when I get older if this is true!  It seems as such, especially this past week with all the hecticness (is that a word?) that has gone on around here.

The cute little cheerful card, I am featuring today is created with Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper (this is one of the exclusive coordination products, the DSP coordinates with several Stampin’ Up! stamp sets).  Also used is a Sale-A-Bration stamp set — Sending You Thoughts (free with a $50 purchase until March 31), Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Greetings and the Stone 3D Embossing Folder, another Sale-A-Bration item.

The design inspiration for today comes from the {Mojo} Monday Challenge.

Wordart Wednesday

Start with a base of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock, add a layer of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Stone 3D Embossing Folder.

Add two panels that have been cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly next to the largest die, popped on using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Crop a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock circle using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Shape Dies.  Stamp a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set in Stampin’ Up! Calypso Coral ink. Add a bannered strip over the two Pleased As Punch rectangles and pop the circle over it. Fussy cut the umbrellas and tiny flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper, pop all of these on the circle.  Add a few Stampin’ Up! Nobel Peacock Rhinestones and your card front is finished.

Crop a panel of Whisper White card stock using the largest dies from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Rectangle Dies, stamp the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set and Sending You Thoughts from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure in Calypso Coral ink.  Fussy cut two umbrellas from the Pleased As Punch DSP and adhere to the corners.

A panel of Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper is given to the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope flap and your project for the day is complete.
