Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty with Rustic Retreat
Today was not a very creative card day. I made 4 cards before I settled on this one. Each one seemed to be tackier than the one before. So they were filed in the treasure file– you know the round bin!
The card I am sharing is from Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat and Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty (available Sept 4th). This is stamp set is one of the “Be A Difference Maker ” sets. A portion of each stamp set sold will go toward mental health and we all know someone who needs that help.
My challenge for the day is Try Stamping on Tuesday or Not. It would have been simple to add a bird to my card but did not notice the optional theme of adding something with wings until I was copying the icon for my blog.
My card has a Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake card stock base with a Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock and a Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce card stock mat. This mat is the background panel and has been stamped with one of the tree stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set. I believe SU must be trying to make up for retiring Lovely As A Tree as the trees in this set reminds me of the trees in Lovely As A Tree stamp set. The smaller background panel has also been stamped using the tree stamp. This also has a Crumb Cake and Real Red mat. I cut a length of Stampin’ Up! Burlap Ribbon in two pieces horizontally and adhered around the panels before adhering to the card base.
An image from the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set is stamped using Stampin’ Up! Up! Crumb Cake ink and after setting with the heat tool, it is colored using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blend Markers in Light Real Red, Light Crumb Cake, Light Smoky Slate, Light Pineapple Punch, and Light Shaded Spruce.
Stampin’ Up! Adhesive Backed Sequins and Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels are randomly placed on the card front after the art piece is popped on using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Stamp Set and is stamped on the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White circle that has been cut using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Shape Dies.
The inside sentiment panel is left blank for a note but I added a few trees as decoration.
In finishing, I stamped trees on the envelope flap and in the lower right corner.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you like my card. Have a blessed Saturday and weekend.

The card shared today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set. It has been a cute fun card.
The art panel is stamped on a Stampin’Up! Sahara Sand card stock square that has been cropped out using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Shapes. Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce and Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake inks are using to stamp the line of trees and deer on the square of card stock.
The Stampin’ Up! Sprig punch is used to punch out Sahara Sand and Shaded Spruce sprigs. One of the sprigs is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce ink and fussy cut. The sprigs are bunched together with Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dots and popped on the corner of the art square.
A button from my button jar is adhered with a Mini Glue Dot after a length of Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread is threaded through the buttonholes and tied in a bow.
The inside has a mat of Shaded Spruce and a panel from the Follow Your Art DSP adhered using Multipurpose Glue and is stamped with a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce ink.

The card I am sharing today is quite simple. It is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set.

The card I am sharing today is a square card. The cut out from the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper (DSP) looks best on a square card.

The wreath is fussy cut from a panel of Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals DSP and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The word “LOVE” has been cropped three times from Stampin’ Up! Rococo Rose card stock using the love die from the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Stamp Bundle.
The three rhinestones are from the Stampin’ Up! Noble Peacock Rhinestones. The bow is made using Stampin’ Up! Rococo Rose Scalloped Lace Ribbon and is popped on the wreath using a Stampin’ Up! Glue Dot.
The inside sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock that is adhered to the card base using Liquid Glue. A strip of flowers cut from the Pressed Petal DSP is adhered down the left side of the sentiment panel.
In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the theme of the card. I gave the envelope flap a panel of DSP from the Pressed Petals DSP. I also stamped a twig on the envelope front using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set.
