Stampin’ Up! Happy Birthday No Matter The Weather

Good Day everyone! I hope you are staying in and staying safe and craftin’ away. For some reason, I can’t seem to get my mind around card making and usually, that’s my favorite thing to do. Too many distractions with all that is happening around us, I suppose.

My challenges for the day are The Sisterhood of Crafters — Spring is the theme.

Watercooler Wednesday — Helen’s Challenge All About Occasions

Today, I am using the March Paper Pumpkin to help create my card. I made my card and then saw the one Mary Fish had created when I received her post, great minds think alike, but I will say I CASEd hers since ours are similar. Below is a picture of how the original kit looked when cards were finished. Click here or on the picture and you can see a short video of the original creations.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Crop the Paper Pumpkin piece using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Rectangle Stitched Dies. Mat with a panel of Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock and pop back in the spot it was cropped from. Fussy cut an umbrella from the Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch DSP. Pop on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. Fussy cut another umbrella from the Pleased As Punch DSP and add one of the boot elements from the No Matter The Weather Paper Pumpkin. Adhere the panel to the card base.

Adhere a panel of the Pleased As Punch DSP to a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope flap and your card project is finished.

Stampin’ Up! No Matter The Weather

Good Morning All! I hope your day turns out fantastic and you have a wonderful weekend. I can’t believe it is just around the corner. Easter will be here soon. Sale-A-Bration will be ending in 12 days, so if there are still goodies you would like, you only have 12 days to get your shopping done. Sounds like Christmas, but with Sale-A-Bration, it can seem like Christmas.

My card today is an alternative one from the Stampin’ Up! March Paper Pumpkin. If you haven’t seen the kit yet, you are in for a treat.

The challenge that inspired me to make this card is the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile card stock base and a background panel of the same that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is then cropped using a Stampin’ Up! Rectangle Stitched Die.

A panel of the Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch DSP is adhered in the cropped portion of the panel. A length of ribbon is wrapped around the embossed panel and then adhered to the card base. All the images are added to the window of the card. It does look like you are looking out a window at the rain. Some of the images are stamped and some are from the Paper Pumpkin kit. A leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Trinkets is popped on the card front.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. The sides of the panel gets an umbrella added from the Pleased As Punch DSP.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch DSP added to the panel. All the card cuts for this card can be found at the end of the post.

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Foils

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! How is everyone doing in this crazy world we are living in for now? Are you Irish, how are you celebrating? I think celebrations will be limited with all the closings.

The card for today is created using Stampin’ Up! Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper. As you can see from the pictures this is beautiful paper.

One of the challenges entered today is As You See It Challenge — My Favorite Type of Card to Send. I like sending any card that gives encouragement to the recipient may it be a Thinking of You, Birthday, Get Well and other. I always feel the recipient feels a bit encouraged when they receive a card. They know someone is thinking of them.

Another challenge is Stamping Sensations — Floral

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock base and a background panel of the same that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

The blossoms from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper are fussy cut and then watercolored using Stampin’ Up! Melon Mambo Classic Ink, Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink, Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Markers in Light & Dark Balmy Blue. It is amazing the different tints you can make from one color when you add water. For the buds, Melon Mambo was used full strength, to get the pink of the blossoms water was added to the Melon Mambo ink to obtain the color I wanted. The same is true of the Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink.

The greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a small scrap of Melon Mambo card stock at adhered to the bottom of the Stampin’ Up! Coastal Weave Embossed panel. Three Stampin’ Up! Noble Peacock Rhinestone are scattered around the card front.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Heart to Heart Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. The side of the panel gets a partial strip of the blossoms from the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the 2019-2021 Incolor 6″ x 6″ DSP added to the panel. All the card cuts for this card can be found at the end of the post.

I hope you will have a Lovely Thursday and no rain or snow!

The card I am featuring today is created using the flower stamp from the Stampin’ Up! February 2020 Paper Pumpkin called Lovely Day. I believe it is a larger version of the flowers on the Sale-A-Bration Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set.

The inspiration for my design comes from the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge. This week’s design is by Melissa Craig.

Wordart Wednesday — Anything Goes

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Rich Razzleberry card stock base, add a panel of the same card stock, embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder matted on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. Pop it on the card base and you are ready for the banners and flower.

The banners are cut from Stampin’ Up! 6″ x 6″ Regal Designer Series Paper and 6″ x 6″ 2019-2021 Incolor Designer Series Paper. They are both matted on a Whisper White mat. The Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Die is used to crop the label panel for the greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set and for the flower to be popped onto. Three Stampin’ Up! Rhinestone Basic Jewels are colored using a Stampin’ Up! Dark Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends Marker, then popped on the label.

Stamp the flower, using Tuxedo Memento Black ink, from the February 2020 Paper Pumpkin on Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Thick card stock, the flower is watercolored using Stampin’ Up! Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive ink. The smaller flower is stamped on the sentiment panel. A tiny bow made using Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Baker’s Twine is popped on the flower using a Stampin’ Up! Glue Dot.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hold On To Hope Stamp Set is stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink on the Whisper White panel. As I said earlier the flowers are from the February 2020 Paper Pumpkin Lovely Day Stamp Set and are also watercolored.

A panel of Stampin’ Up! 6″ x 6″ 2019-2021 Incolor Designer Series Paper is given to the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope flap and your project for the day is complete.

Good Day, all! Hope you have a fantastic one!

The card I am featuring today is created using Stampin’ Up! Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! January 2020 Paper Pumpkin, I’ll Bee Yours and Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set.

The challenge for today is a new one for me and I love the logo —613 Avenue Create — Banners and Bows

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock as the mat for the background panel from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Honey Specialty Series Paper. The Golden Honey DSP banners are also matted in Real Red card stock. A red ribbon is wrapped around the background panel and the largest banner. A bow is made and popped on the ribbon.

Three small hearts are placed around the front of the card with a larger heart from the Stitched Be Mine Dies used as the label for the greeting from the January Paper Pumpkin — I’ll Bee Yours!

The sentiment panel is an image of the card front with a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on the banner of Whisper White matted on a banner of Real Red card stock. Two small red hearts are the negative cut from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine Dies. The larger heart at the lower corner is also from the Stitched Be Mine Dies.

In finishing, the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper.
