Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch — Thinking of You!

I am sharing another Pansy Patch card with you today. I love this stamp set and so happy it carried over to the new catalog that went live June 1, 2023. I made another Pansy Patch card and you can see the details here with all the diagrams and instructions for putting the pansies together.

I am entering the Stampin’ Up! Challenge. Their theme is flowers.

I am also entering Use Your Stuff Challenge.

My card base is Fresh Freesia card stock. I embossed a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock using the Splash 3D Embossing Folder from Stripes and Splashes 3D Embossing Folders. I adhered the panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I die cut a piece of Basic White card stock using a die from Two-Tone Flora Dies. This piece is adhered over the embossed panel. I applied Multipurpose Liquid Glue sparingly on the delicate piece so as not to have glue spreading on the embossed piece as it was adhered.

This is a side view of the card showing how the card base is folded to create the easel.

I started with a Fresh Freesia card stock base cut 4-1/4″ x 11″. I then scored the piece at 2-1/8″ and 5-1/2″. I folded and creased well. The mountain fold of the 2-1/8″ piece becomes the piece you attach the card front to using adhesive of your choice.

My card is an easel fold fun fold card. I like them because they are easy to create and for displaying a card on your shelf or table.

Again, you can see the instructions for die cutting and assembling the pansies.

I matted a piece of Basic White card stock on a Blackberry Bliss card stock mat and adhered to the inside of the card. This will give ample space to write a message. A pansy is adhered at the bottom of the panel to become the stop for the easel.

A Basic White envelope gets a pansy stamped on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch — Happy Birthday

Stampin’ up! Pansy Patch stamp set has been one of my favorites. I am so happy it was carried over to the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. The pansies make beautiful card. Along with the stamp set, I used a die from the Scallop Contour Dies, and Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

I am entering the Global Design Project Challenge.

I am also entering the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

My card base is Fresh Freesia card stock. I embossed a panel of the same using Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. This panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

It took me a while to realize which piece went with which piece for the pansies. The leaves were easy. These are the pieces you need to die cut to create 2 pansies. I like that as you die cut the pieces are embossed also. I may have cut one or two pieces extra not realizing I needed only one of that piece. You will see as you progress through the diagrams how to put the pieces together to create the pansies.
It takes three petals to create the pansy. I used Fresh Freesia card stock and Blackberry Bliss card stock for the pansies. For the leaves, I used Olive Olive card stock and Pear Pizziaz card stock. You can see from #2 how I adhered the pieces together that create the pansy. It takes one of the petals on line one and two of the petals on the second line.
The two center piece are adhered next.

I die cut a panel of Soft Succulent using one of the dies from Scalloped Contour Dies. I then embossed using Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. The pansies are arranged on the Soft Succulent panel, adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue or stampin’ Dimensionals.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set is stamped in Black Berry Bliss ink on a scrap of Soft Succulent card stock, fussy cut, adhered to a scrap of Fresh Freesia card stock, fussy cut again, then popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls are popped around the card front.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a pansy stamped on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream A Little Hello Card

The card I am sharing today is from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream stamp set along with the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder and the Ornate Frames Dies.

My challenge for today is the Krafty Chicks Challenge — CAS.

I am also entering the challenge at Through The Craft Room Door. Anything goes.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base embossing a panel of the same using the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder. I adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped a daffodil image from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydreams stamp set using an Old Olive and Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker. I then colored the image using an Old Olive Watercolor Pencil and Pale Papaya and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers. I fussy cut the image then…

popped it using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on a Basic White card stock piece that is cropped using a die from the Ornate Frame Dies.

A butterfly from the Brushed Brass Butterfly Collection is popped on a daffodil petal. Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped around the art piece also. The art piece is now adhered to the black and white pin dot panel (I can’t name it, it was in my paper shares and do not remember the name.) A Bumblee Bee ribbon is wrapped around the black & white panel and tied in a know making it appear as a bow.

A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black in on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut and popped on the card from using Mini Glue Dots.

The inside panel is stamped with the same daffodil image as the card from and colored using the same coloring. Two small strips of the black & white pin dot paper is adhered to each side of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel from the Black Pin Dot DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch A Little Hello

The past week I have seen so many beautiful cards from teammates using the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Stamp Set and the Pansy Dies, that I decided I had to try my hand at one also. So, today’s card is created using the Pansy Dies and a greeting from the Pansy Patch Stamp Set along with the Border Dies for the edge of the card.

The Taylor Made Cards 4 U Challenge has a theme of Spring Flowers for this week. As pansies bloom in the spring also, I am entering this challenge.

I am also entering this challenge. I like the idea of an embossing challenge and love the name Can You Handle The Pressure?

One of my challenges for the day is the Taylormade Cards 4 U Challenge. Their theme is Spring Flowers and pansies bloom in the spring. I wanted to make sure I was correct in saying that so I did a little research and you can actually have your pansies bloom in the Spring and then again in the Fall.

The first thing I did was to crop the pansies from Shimmery White card stock using a die from the Pansy Dies.
Lay the cropped petals on paper towels or an old towel to absorb the excess water when you spritz the petals
Using ink re-fillers, drop about 2 drops of your choice of ink color on a stamping block. I used Blackberry Bliss, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive.
Using a skinny watercolor brush, dip your brush in the drops of ink and the paint around the edge of the flower petal. The ink will immediately start running down the petal. You can see how it is done in my pictures.
Drop a drop of Daffodil Delight ink in the center of each petal, it may run down the petal also, but it will just make for interesting color if it does.
Once the petals are dry or you can do this in the damp stage, makes for easier folding. Fold the edges of the petals according style. This will make the petal look so realistic, you can’t believe.
I used three of the single petals instead of two that are used in the creation of most.
Crop a piece of Basic White card stock and a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock using a die from the Border Dies.
Adhere these two panels together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhere to the Fresh Freesia card stock card base.
Dry fit the pansies on the embossed panel so you can see how you want them arranged. Once you have decided the arrangement, adhered to the embossed panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use three dots from the Playing with Patterns Resin Dot to give each pansy a center over the little black beard I call it.
Stamp a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss ink.
Crop the greeting with the smallest dies from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Pop it on the card front under one of the leaves.
Adhere a panel of Basic White card stock to a Blackberry Bliss mat, then adhere to the Fresh Freesia card base.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Pansy Petals DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Thank You

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Intricate Leaves Dies, along with using the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Stamp Set for the greeting and sentiment. This is a CAS(E) Patricia Dominicci’s card.

613 Avenue Create is the challenge I am joining today. Their theme is anything goes with an optional twist of thanks/thankfulness.

CAS on Friday has a challenge theme of leaves, so my card is right for it.

Cut It Up Challenge has a theme of thanks or thankfulness and the project must have a die-cut. My leaf is right for this challenge.

Start with a card base of Soft Succulent card stock. Next, add a panel of Basic White that has been embossed using the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder, then mat on a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock and adhere to the card front.

Mat a panel of the Harvest Meadow DSP on a panel of Evening Evergreen and adhered to the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Crop a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock using a die from the Intricate Leaves Dies. Pop on the Harvest Meadow panel and adhere the bow colored using a Soft Succulent Blending Marker.

A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Stamp Set is stamped on a scrap of Basic White card stock, one end flagged, then popped on the card front. Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped around the card front.

A medium white envelope has a leaf stamped in Soft Succulent ink on the envelope flap using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set.
