Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Thinking of You

Happy day after the July 4th Independence Day Celebration.  I hope everyone had fun–and food–fun with family and friends.  As for me, my heart and BP kept me great company.  I had to call my doctor and he was getting ready to run the Peachtree Road Race.  I’m surprised he heard the phone with all the noise I could hear in the background.  Happy I have a doctor, I can call any time, anywhere on his cell phone and he answers.  Called him once and he was in Peru.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Stamp Bundle along with a die from the Ornate Layers Dies.

My challenge for today is with The Sisterhood of Crafter — their theme for this challenge is Anything Goes.

I started with a Basic White card stock base.  A panel of black and white strips is matted on a panel of Crushed Curry card stock and adhered to one side of the card front.  A panel of Basic White card stock is cropped using one of the Ornate Layers Dies, then adhered over the black and white panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A flower is cropped from Basic White card stock using the Meadow Dies. The top part of the die is used to crop the flowers from a piece of the Ombre Specialty paper, it is adhered over the Basic White flowers.  The stem and leaves are colored using a Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Marker.

Black Mat Dots are popped on the center of the flowers and around the Basic White ornate panel after the flowers are adhered to the panel.  The greeting is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a small rectangle of Basic White card stock and tucked under the Ornate panel.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set.  They are colored using So Saffron and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts with Brilliant Wings

Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts with Brilliant Wings

Happy summertime day in Georgia, which means hot, hot, hot.  You can probably cook an egg on the sidewalk.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set and the Brilliant Wings Dies along with the Ornate Layers Dies.

My inspiration is from the Allsorts Challenge  — their theme is butterflies & bees.

I started with a card base of Just Jade card stock adding a panel of Basic White card stock which becomes the mat for the Butterfly Bijou DSP. These are all adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of Basic White card stock is cropped using one of the Ornate Layers Dies.  A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set is then stamped in Just Jade ink. The cropped panel is popped on the Butterfly Bijou DSP panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals after a strip of 2021-2023 Incolor Shimmer Vellum is adhered across the butterfly panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Glue Dots.

A panel of Expressions in Ink DSP is cropped using a die from the Brilliant Wings Dies.  The butterfly is popped on the Ornate panel using Mini Glue Dot.

A panel of Basic White card stock is trimmed using a strip of the Butterfly Bijou DSP and then a sentiment from a Stampin’ Up! Elegantly Said Stamp Set is stamped in Just Jade ink.  The panel is then adhered to the card base.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Expressions In Ink with Brilliant Wings

Stampin’ Up! Expressions In Ink with Brilliant Wings

Happy Friday, can’t believe it is already here.  Where did the week go?

The card I am sharing today is created using Expressions in Ink DSP, the Ornate Layers Dies, and the Brilliant Wings Dies.  The greeting and sentiment are from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Stamp Set.

My inspiration is the challenge from the Tic, Tac Toe Challenge.  I went across the top row Friendship/Sentiment, Die Cut, and Green.

My card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of Basic White card stock layered over it.  The Basic White panel is cropped using the largest die from the Scalloped Contour Dies, it is then embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

A panel of DSP from the Expressions in Ink DSP is cropped using one of the dies from Ornate Layers Dies, another panel is cropped using a smaller die from Basic White card stock.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Stamp Set is stamped in Polished Pink ink on the Basic White panel before it is popped on the Expressions in Ink panel.  A Pearl Basic Jewel is popped by the greeting.

The butterfly is cropped from a piece of the Expressions in Ink DSP and popped on the Basic White panel using Mini Glue Dots.

A panel of the Expressions in Ink DSP is cropped using one of the Ornate Layers Dies.  A sentiment from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set is stamped in Polished Pink ink in the middle of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Expressions in Ink DSP applied to the envelope flap.
