Stampin’ Up! Many Hearts!

Monday has rolled around again. Have a great week.

Today’s card features the Many Hearts Dies along with the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper and the Hammered Metallic Embossing Folder.

The Sunday Stamps Challenge has a great color challenge for the week called Warm Hearts. I could not tell if the bottom color was brown or Blackberry Bliss. I chose it to be Blackberry Bliss as I stamped my greeting in Blackberry Bliss. The other colors I chose are Very Vanilla, Bumblebee, and Cherry Cobbler along with Crumb Cake as my neutral. I borrowed the panel layering design from Amy, I hope that is allowed. I thought it was a great design.

The card base is Cherry Cobbler card stock with panels of Crumb Cake card stock, a Bumblebee panel that is from the Dandy Garden DSP, and a Very Vanilla card stock panel that is for the art piece. The CrumCake panel & the Bumblee panel are cropped using dies from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. The Very Vanilla panel is cropped using a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

A greeting from the Itty Bitty Stamp Set is stamped on the Very Vanilla panel in Blackberry Bliss ink. The little dandelions that are blowing in the wind on the Very Vanilla panel are stamped in Crumb Crumb ink.

The flower heart and the banner of hearts are cropped from Cherry Cobbler card stock using dies from the Many Hearts Dies. Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped in the flower center and around the card front.

The sentiment panel is blank except for the loopy hearts at the bottom of the panel. Since this is going to be a birthday card, I will write a birthday message instead of stamping one.

The medium Very Vanilla envelope gets a panel of Dandy Garden DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Meant To Be

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Meant To Be Stamp Set. This set is one of hearts, so you are probably thinking Valentines Day has passed. It makes for great shamrocks. It also features the Stampin’ Up! Country Club Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.

My challenge inspiration today is the {Mojo Monday} Challenge.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Garden Green card stock base. Add a layer of the same embossed in the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Cut or crop the layers according to the size at the end of the post. Emboss the Whisper White panel using the Stampin’ Up! Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Layer them according to the photo. Add Stampin’ Up! Nobel Rhinestone jewels and your card front is finished.

No sentiment for the inside yet as I haven’t decided.

A Whisper White envelope receives a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Country Club Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap and your project is finished.

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis

Good Morning Friends, can you believe it is already Thursday, seems it was just here yesterday!

My creation today features Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper. I truly believe it is my favorite, I believe I could make a card each day using it. I have used almost two packs, going to have to order more.

My challenge today is with Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. My inspiration is from their Sketch 174.

Start with a card base of Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze card stock and add a background panel of Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz card stock. To this background, panel add the nine squares alternating between the solid Pretty Peacock square that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder and the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis squares.

Crop three squares, each one smaller than the last, one from Pear Pizzazz card stock and one from Pretty Peacock card stock, and one from Tropical Oasis DSP. Adhere the Pretty Peacock square to the Pear Pizzazz square, then popped the Tropical Oasis DSP square on using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next, pop all three layers onto the card base. Be sure to stamp your greeting before you embossed the Pear Pizzazz square with the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Add your Stampin’ Up! Adhesive Backed Sequins and Pearl Basic Jewels that have been colored using a Coastal Cabana Light Stampin’ Blends Marker. Your card front is finished.

The sentiment panel is Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz card stock that has a sentiment from Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and Peaceful Moments Stamp Set stamped in Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock ink. A short panel of the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper is added to the top and lower corners.

The square envelope gets Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper added to the envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Amy’s Inkin’ Krew October Blog Hop–“Giving Thanks”

Welcome! It’s that time — what time is that you ask! Time for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. Our theme for October is “Giving Thanks”. It is on the second Tuesday of each month. You can always find a group of talented ladies that make up a part of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew. Be sure you check out each person’s blog, you will find much talent and inspiration. You may even find that you would like to CAS(E) one of the cards. Will let’s begin, I know you are wanting to see all the awesome cards.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Stamp Set. I have had this set for a good long time and have only used it once or twice. While making this card, I realize this is a set that can be used for a variety of cards. The card base is Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock card stock. The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock panel is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder. This being a blog hop I am listing my card challenges at the bottom of this section.

Before embossing the tree from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set was stamped in the center of the panel along with the greeting. Here is where I made a goof. I should have done the color wash and then stamped, but I stamped and then did the wash, so the ink on the trees and the greeting smeared and I thought I had destroyed the entire card and would have to start over as all the leaves had been popped on.

I found a remedy, don’t we always come up with something to cover a boo-boo? I did my color wash on a thick piece of card stock, dried with the heat tool, then stamped my tree. I fussy cut the piece and adhered it over the goof-up. You can barely tell it is there as most of the edges fit under the leaves. If I had not told you would have probably thought I meant to do the tree that way.

I’m ahead of the process though—I colored a panel of Whisper White thick card stock using different ink colors. You can see from the picture, where I stamped each other on my glass mat and then spritzed each color as I put the card stock over it to absorb the color. You can also tell by the color of the leaves and the envelope flap that I did not have enough on the first coloring so the second coloring is a bit different in color, even with using the same ink colors.

The leaves are popped on the Whisper White embossed panel using Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set.

The inside sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Home Stamp Set is stamped in ‘Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock ink. An image from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set is stamped in the lower corner of the sentiment panel.

A New Suite is Coming Soon!

Stampin’ Up! Tea Together

Hello All, can we call it Wonderous Wednesday because we do not know what the day holds.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Tea Together Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Tea Time Dies.

My challenge for the day is with The Card Concept — Cozy Cottage. My inspiration comes from the blue gingham curtain, the dishes with navy design and the flowers in the pot on the table.

My card base is Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock mat that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

The Night of Navy focal panel is also embossed with the same embossing folder. This panel then has a strip of Stampin’ Up! 2019-2021 Designer Series Paper adhered down the side. A piece of lace from one of the Stampin’ Up! Delicate Lace Dies is adhered to the edge of this Seaside Spray strip of the 2019-2021 Incolor DSP.

One of the teacups is cropped from a panel of Stampin’ Up! Mosaic Mood DSP and the other is cropped from a panel of Whisper White that has been stamped with one of the flower stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set. A daisy from the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! So Saffron ink on a scrap of Whisper White and adhered under the edge of the teacup. A bow made from Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Baker’s Twine is made and popped over the daisy on the edge of the teacup. Three pearls from the Stampin’ Up! Pearls Basic Jewels are popped randomly on the card front.

The inside sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set is stamped in Night of Navy on a panel of Whisper White card stock. Two daisies from the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Stamp Set are stamped on the edge of the panel.

In finishing, I gave a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope a panel of the Stampin’ Up! 2019-2021 Incolor 6″ x 6″ DSP and stamped two daisies on the front.
