Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful

Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful

Make it a great day!

The card I am sharing today is from the Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful Stamp Set.  You can see it is bright and cheery.

My inspiration for this card comes from the Cupcake Inspiration #506

       Dream Valley- Dies and/or Punches

I should look for a challenge that is layers, as I have so many, but it just did not look right to me otherwise.  I started with a Stampin’ Up! Bumblebee card stock base added a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock layer, another Bumblebee card stock layer, a Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock layer, and finally the art piece stamped on Whisper White card stock.  All the layers have been cropped using Stampin’ Up! Stitched Rectangle Dies.

The tree image is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake ink, the birdhouse is Stampin’ Up! Real Red ink. The leaves are Stampin’ Up! Bumblebee ink and the pumpkin is Stampin’ Up! Pumpkin Pie ink. The greeting in Stampin’ Up! Early Espresso ink. I am hoping these browns are considered neutral.

The jewels are from Stampin’ Up! Rhinestone Basic Jewels that I colored using a Stampin’ Up! Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends marker. I adhered one jewel to the greeting and the other two are randomly placed.

The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness Stamp Set and is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Early Espresso ink onto a scrap that was left from the crop of the art piece layer.  I had a scrap piece of ribbon, the name and color I do not know as I colored the ribbon using a Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends marker.

The sentiment is from the Autumn Goodness Stamp Set and is stamped in Early Espresso ink. The shock of corn stalks is stamped in the same ink and from the same stamp set.  It is colored using a Light So Saffron Stampin’ Blends marker, there is not a Bumblebee Stampin’ Blends.

A Stampin’ Up! Medium Whisper White envelope gets a layer of DSP from the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden DSP (available January 5, 2021).

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy with Autumn Goodness

Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy with Autumn Goodness

Enjoy the rain today if you are in our part of the country.  Good day for staying inside. Walk up and down the hall to get your steps in or do you like to walk in the rain, I always have, the child in me I suppose.

The card today is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness Stamp Set. They go well together.

Inspiration for this card comes from three different challenges — Just Us Girls – Word Week

Sunday Stamps – Fall Leaves

And Stella Says Sketch

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Early Espresso card stock. To form the triangles I embossed a panel of the Early Espresso using the Stampin’ Up! Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Glue.  I cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper and then cut diagonally. I matted it on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Bumblebee card stock. This triangle was also adhered using Multipurpose Glue.

The leaf garland from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is adhered down the middle of the two triangles.  The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock circle with the art piece from Autumn Goodness Stamp Set is cropped using Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies. The greeting is stamped in Early Espresso ink on the art piece and at the bottom of the card front.  Several rhinestones from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels is scattered randomly around the card front.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness Stamp Set is stamped in Early Espresso ink on the Whisper White card stock panel.  The same artwork as the card front is stamped in the corner and colored using the same colors.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Whale Of A Time

Stampin’ Up! Whale Of A Time

Happy Sunday everyone! Are you having a nice weekend enjoying the cool fall air?  Our team had a great time on Saturday celebrating World Card Making Day!  Our team leaders did a fantastic job of organizing the event and getting other demonstrators to present.  The entire team did such a fantastic job.  If you joined us, you know what I am talking about.  If you couldn’t make it this year, maybe you can next but I believe the videos are available for a few days so you can watch them.

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful Stamp Set, Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, Peaceful Moments Stamp Set and the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Pool Party card stock with a mat that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Seabed 3D Embossing Folder.  When you want an embossed panel on the front, it is much easier to emboss a separate panel of card stock or it is for me.  I was always messing up the front of the card when I embossed and Amy Koenders told her Inkin’ Krew this tip and it works wonders.  Mary Deatherage reminded us again about this easy method today during our World Card Making Day event.

Cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whale Of A Time DSP and slice it horizontally at an angle.  This gives you the design for the front of the card and is from the Inspire, Create Challenge. After you adhere the DSP to the embossed panel, mat this panel using Stampin’ Up! Granny Apple Green cardstock. Adhere your ribbon across the two sections of the card front.  Lastly, adhere your focal panel to the Pool Party card base.

My inspiration comes from the Inspire, Create Challenge.

And…

Craftyhazelnut’s Pattern Paper Challenge.  I am using Stampin’ Up! Whale Of A Time Designer Series Paper (DSP)

The sentiment from the following Stampin’ Up! Stamp Sets Life Is Beautiful, Sending Sunshine, and Peaceful Moment is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock. Several of the turtles have been fussy cut and adhered to the panel.  The panel  is then matted on a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock and adhered to the card base.

As soon as envelopes from Stampin’ Up! arrive an envelope flap will have a panel of the Whale Of A Time DSP adhered so my card can be on its way to the person intended.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!
