Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms
Happy Friday, have a great weekend!

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms and Free As A Bird Stamp Sets.
My design inspiration is from the Sunday Stamps Challenge.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of DSP from the Pattern Party DSP as the background. These two patterns go together rather well.

Stamp blossoms from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Stamp Set using Tuxedo Memento Black ink and Basic White card stock. Color the flowers and leaves with Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Dimensionals. After coloring, apply a Wink of Stella to each blossom. Fussy cut all the blossoms and leaves. Butterflies are from my stash of cutouts, I believe these are from the Butterfly Bijou DSP, long retired.

Crop a panel of Basic White using a Stitched So Sweetly Die, stamp a greeting from Free As A Bird Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink, pop this on the middle of the card front and arrange the blossoms and butterflies around the edge of the cropped piece.

The sentiment panel has two blossoms adhered to the corners.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Pattern Party 12″ x 12″ DSP applied to the envelope flap. This pattern goes with the card very well.
If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

The card I am featuring today is from the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Stamp Set. Surely this set will carry over into the next catalog. I think it should be there forever like the Lovely As A Tree Stamp Set. Yes! I am still whining that it is gone.

The art piece is layered on a stack of layering circles that have been cropped from the Bird Ballad DSP, Pool Party card stock and Petal Pink card stock. Three pearls are added to the art piece and a small Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Baker’s Twine bow is popped on the edge of the art piece. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set and is cropped using one of the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Frame Dies.

Good morning stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Did you enjoy that extra day off? Don’t you just love 3-day weekends? Did anyone do anything fun or just stay inside where it was warm. It’s colder today and I am so happy, I am blessed to get to be home and not have to venture outside in the cold, cold temps we are having here in Georgia. 19 degrees is a bit too chilly for my blood. I would like it 70 degrees each day, guess I need to move to a warm climate.

My card for the day is created using Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Toil Christmas Stamp Set. It made a beautiful card. I am rather pleased with the color scheme. Instead of your typical red cardinal, I decided to make mine a bluebird. Do not know if the color is right for a true bluebird, but then he is my bird and that his color shades of blue from Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blend markers in Light and Dark Balmy Blue. It is amazing how different the color looks once a picture is taken.

I used the “Hello” stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set stamping it using Versa Mark ink and then heat embossing using Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Embossing Powder and my heat tool. The silver diagonal square is cropped from a panel of Stampin’ Up! Silver Foil Sheets and embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder. It is adhered to a Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock mat and then popped on the card front after the banner is adhered in place.

It’s called the Christmas Time is Here Suite and it’s pretty amazing! just look at that DSP, isn’t it gorgeous and here’s hoping the die fits the rose on the DSP! The dies do fit the roses on one of the panels of the DSP. The dies fit perfectly. This suite was used by several demonstrators October 5 during World Card Making Day and the cards were gorgeous. You should see if you can find them on Pinterest, they are so beautiful.

I am sharing a card made using the Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and again, To A Wild Rose Stamp Set.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the birds on the card front. I gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Free AS A Bird Designer Series Paper (DSP).
