Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

Happy Friday, I think I just realized that I was a day ahead when I posted Thursday’s post.  I was thinking today was Friday and it seemed that way all day.  Do you have fun plans to celebrate July 4th?  Do you and your family always go watch the fireworks? Fireworks are ok, but terrify babies, small children and dogs.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Friends of Friendship Stamp Set along with the Beauty of Friendship for the greeting and one of the sentiments.  The other sentiment comes from the Stampin’ Up! Better Places Stamp Set.  My card is a CAS(E) of one Amy Koender created.

My design for this challenge comes from the Paper Players Challenge.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of Hand Penned DSP as the background for another panel of the same DSP.

Flowers from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set are stamped using Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Basic White card stock.  The flowers and leaves are colored using Highland Heather, Polished Pink, and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers.  After I had fussy cut the flowers and leaves, I remembered there is a punch that goes with the stamp set.  Guess I needed to practice my kindergarten skills. The greeting is from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set and is stamped on a cropped circle using Soft Succulent ink.  The flowers are then arranged around the greeting using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Glue Dots. Elegant Faceted Gems are popped in the center of each flower and two others popped around the flowers.

The sentiments from Flowers of Friendship and Better Places Stamp Sets are stamped in Soft Succulent ink on the Basic White panel.  A different flower from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Highland Heather and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

Happy Monday, I hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day and your family treated you extra special.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set, the Stitched With Whimsy  Dies,  the Subtle Embossing Folder, retired but I have a feeling I shall use it often even if that is true.

My inspiration for the layout design today is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  It is a nice clean design.

I started with a Basic White card stock base with a panel of the same embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder and the Stitched with Whimsy Dies.

A panel of the Basic White card stock is cropped with one of the smaller dies from the Stitched With Whimsy Dies to be the focal panel for the Real Red poppies created using a stamp from the Flowers Of Friendship Stamp Set.  The poppies are colored using Real Red & Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  The poppies are fussy cut and popped on the corner of the focal panel.

The greeting is from a Paper Pumpkin kit and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  I cut the words of the greeting apart so I could place them the way I wanted on the focal panel.  The poppies are popped on using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A pearl from the Pearls Basic Jewels is colored with the Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker and popped above the greeting.

A panel of Basic White card stock is stamped with the poppies from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set and are colored using the same Markers used on the card front.  This panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Flowers from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set are stamped on both the envelope front and the envelope flap and colored using the same markers.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies are Flowers of Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies are Flowers of Friendship

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you are having a restful, peaceful day.

The Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Stamp Set, and The Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set (available May 4 to customers) to create the card I am sharing with you today.

My design inspiration is from Addicted To Stamps – Birthdays is the theme.

The Fusion Card Challenge for the design. I reversed the card making it portrait instead of landscape.  I used both the design and the theme of poppies.  Poppies are special to me so I am happy to see a card using it and happy Stampin’ Up! gives us another stamp set with poppies.

And for color, Just Add Ink Challenge is perfect for my images.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base adding a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Glue. A greeting from the Here’s A Card Stamp Set (retiring) was stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink before embossing.

I stamped poppies using Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Basic White Thick card stock from two stamp sets, The Flowers of Friendship (available May 4 to customers) along with the current Painted Poppies.  I am so happy it is carrying over to the next catalog.

I colored the poppies using Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. The 1-1/2″ Basic White squares with the poppies from Painted Poppies are matted on a strip of DSP adhering to the right side of the card front after coloring.  The other poppies from both stamp sets are fussy cut after coloring and arrange in the Petal Pink pitcher.  Some are popped on with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and some are adhered using Glue Dots.

A greeting from the Prettiest Birthday Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White that has poppies stamped and colored across the bottom of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets poppies stamped on the flap and colored using the same Stampin’ Blends Markers as the card front.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
