Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessings — Love & Big Hugs

Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessings — Love & Big Hugs

The card I am sharing today is created using three Stampin’ Up! stamp sets, Fruitful Blessings, Dainty Flowers, and Sending Smiles.  I also used Timber 3D Embossing Folder and All About Autumn Designer Series Paper with lots of supporting products.

I am entering the Festive Friday Challenge.  I am choosing Bright Colours, Twine, Sequins, Envelope.

My card base is Lost Lagoon card stock cut 5-1/2″ x 11″. Score at 1-3/4″, 3-1/2″, 5-1/4″ and 7″.

Measure 1″ from top on 5-1/2″ side, cut from first score line to the third score line.  Flip the card and do the same on the other side.  You can see in the photo above.  Cut from All About Autumn Designer Series Paper the following pieces  (2) 1-1/8′ x 5-1/4″, (1) 1-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ and (1) 3-7/8″ x 5-3/8″ .  From a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock cut four pieces 3/4″ x 1-1/2″.  You can see from the photo about the placement of the pieces.  From Basic White card stock cut (1) 3-1/2 square and (1) piece 3-1/4″ x 6-1/4″  This creates the small card for the inside.

Before adhering the Basic White piece to the card base, stamp the flowers for the inside card  and the sentiment on the inside of the card.  Stamp flowers from Stampin’ Up! Fruitful Blessing stamp set on a piece of Basic White card stock, color using Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Pool Party, and  Pumpkin Pie, Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Die cut the flowers using the coordinating die from Fruitful Dies.  Adhere the flowers to the Basic White that has been embossed using Timber 3D Embossing Folder.  Add sequins from Adhesive Backed Sequin Trio around the card front.  A small Linen Thread bow is made and popped on the flower stem.
A Basic White  envelope gets a panel of All About Autumn Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

DAINTY DELIGHT W/HAPPY HEDGEHOG FENCE EASEL FUN FOLD FOR THE SU DEMOS FUN FOLDS BLOG HOP

DAINTY DELIGHT W/HAPPY HEDGEHOG FENCE EASEL FUN FOLD FOR THE SU DEMOS FUN FOLDS BLOG HOP

Welcome to our Blog Hop!

We have a great lineup of talented crafters for you today, who enjoy creating fun folds.  If you love fun folds, I am hoping you find inspiration and enjoyment so much that you will be inspired to join us next time.  You are in for a treat with all the talented demonstrators participating. You can find that list   located at the end of the post about my card creation.

The card I am sharing today for our Blog Hop is created using Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set and Dies and greeting and sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set.  An embossing folder from Basic 3D Embossing Folders.

I cut a piece of Basic White card stock 5-1/2″ x 11″.  I scored at 2-3/4″ and 7″.  The other marking in the above diagram are pencil markings instead of hard scoring.  You should watch Terri Gaines video. Click on her name and it will take you to her PDF and video. She gives great instruction about creating the fence.  She also gives a great tip about keeping the fence post even.  The 2-3/4″ is a mountain fold and the 7″ is a valley fold.

To create the fence and fence post, I cut (6) strips of card stock 1/2″ x 2-1/2″ for the post, each post gets 2 pieces and (3) fence rails 1/2″ x 5-1/2″.  I die cut daisies from Daffodil Delight card stock using the daisy dies from Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Dies.  The vine is another die from the same set and is die cut in Garden Green and Granny Apple Green card stock.    The bird and butterfly are from Stampin’ Up! Happy Hedgehog stamp set.  They are stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, and Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends Markers. Die cut (3) pieces of grass from Garden Green card stock using a die from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set.

One piece of the grass goes on the panel that has the easel stopper.  Another piece goes on the bottom of the card so when the card is closed grass will show through the fence.  The last piece is adhered to upper section of the easel panel so grass shows through the fence.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Basic White card stock scrap, matted on a small piece of Garden Green card stock, and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Daisies are popped around the sentiment.

A Basic White envelope gets a greeting and greenery from Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend stamp set stamped on the envelope flap in Garden Green ink.

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Flowers — with faith…

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Flowers — with faith…

The card I am sharing today is an easy Faux Step Card.  I used Stampin’ Up! Dainty Daisies Dies and Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper to create this card.

I am entering Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge. I am choosing the diagonally from left top to right bottom  — flowers, yellow, gems.

I am also entering Creative Creases Challenge as my card is a fun fold and their theme is always a fun fold.

My card base is Garden Green card stock.  You can see from the diagram above how each piece is cut, scored, and folded.  #4 is after the card is put together and the Basic White piece is added for space to sign or write a short note.

This is the panels that are created to add to the step base.  Cut two Basic White pieces 2-7/8″ x 4-1/8″, one will be used as a mat for the card front the other will be an art piece on the card back.  Cut two Basic White pieces 1-7/8″ x 3-3/8″. These will be mats for the front and back of the short side of the step.  Next cut pieces of  Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper in these sizes. 2-3/4″ x 4″ and 1-3/4″ x 3-1/4″ cut two. You can see from the picture above how they are adhered to each piece of Garden Green using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I die cut daisies from Basic White card stock using a die from Stampin’ Up! Dainty Flowers Dies. The vine is die cut from Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper.  The daisy centers are die cut from a piece of Early Espresso card stock.  After they are adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals the panels are adhered as you can see below.

This is the way the card looks after the two panel are adhered to the Garden Green step.  There are many videos on YouTube for making a faux step card. You can put it in search and find lots of instructional videos.

This is how the back side of the card looks.  The greeting and sentiment are from an old retired stamp set, but I thought so appropriate for this card.  You can use any greeting and sentiment you choose.

You can see from this side view how each panel adheres to the step base.

Basic White Medium Envelope  gets a piece of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy with Dainty Delight

Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy with Dainty Delight

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set, a free Sale-A-Bration item with a qualifying order and Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set.  It is called a screen divider fun fold card.  I have made this card several time.  I believe it was the first fun fold I made 15 years ago when I started making Stampin’ Up! cards.

I started with a 5-1/2″ x 11″ piece of Blushing Bride card stock. I scored at 2-3/4″, 5-1/2″, and 8-1/4″.  This creates the panel for the screen.  I use one of my punches which is long retired I am sure, but you can use any punch to create the feet for the screen.

I cut Pool Party card stock into (4) 2-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ and Shimmery White card stock into (4) pieces 2-3/8″ x 4-3/4″.  The Pool Party pieces are for the mats for each of the Shimmery White card stock pieces.

Images from Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set and Stampin’ Up Dainty Delight stamp set are stamped in Memento Black ink onto the Shimmery White card stock panel. The flowers on the front panel are colored using Pool Party and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. The flowers on three of the panels are colored using Rich Razzleberry, Granny Apple Green, and Balmy Blue Watercolor Pencils.

The greetings are from Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set and are stamped in Memento Black ink on pieces of Shimmery White card stock.  They are cropped using a die from Stitched Rectangle Dies.  The die is larger than I want for the greeting so you can see in the two photos above how I placed them on the greeting to crop to the size I wanted.

The sentiment in the final panel is from Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set and is stamped in Memento Black ink.  The spray of flowers at the top of the panel is from Stampin’ Up! Queen Bee stamp set.  The image is colored using the same color Watercolor Pencils as previously used on the other panels.

The second panel of the screen divider fun fold card get a Blushing Bride bow created using a scrap of Blushing Bride twine.  It is applied with a dab of Multipurpose Liquid Glue was used to adhere the bow to the panel.  Multipurpose Liquid Glue is used to adhere all the panels together and to the card base.  Brushed Metallic Butterflies are scattered around the four panels.

A  Basic White medium envelopes get a panel of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper added to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight – Celebrate You

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight – Celebrate You

My card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set, along with Dainty Delight Dies, Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper, and Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

I am entering Pammie’s Inkie Pinkies Challenge. Their theme is Anything Goes except the 5th Monday.

I started with a card base of Basic White card stock, adding a panel of Starry Sky card stock which becomes the mat for the panel of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper which is the background for the art piece.

The art piece is a different pattern from the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper.  I fussy cut two daisies from a piece of the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper and popped over the flowers on the art piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cropped one daisy from a piece of Crushed Curry card stock and popped it on the card front also.

A Linen Thread bow is made and popped on the flower stem.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set is stamped in Starry Sky ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, matted on scraps of Crushed Curry and Starry Sky card stock, and popped on the card front using Stampin’ DimensionalsIridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels are scattered around the card front.

A  panel of Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper is matted on a panel of Starry Sky card stock, a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set is stamped in Starry Sky ink onto the panel and the panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
