Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away

Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away  Suite and Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set.  I have been requested to create a card for a couple that will soon be married and the bride wants a card with a sailboat as her soon to be husband has one and loves sailing.

My card base is Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock embossed using my favorite embossing folder,  Stampin’ Up! Subtles Embossing Folder.

I am choosing to enter more than one challenge for the day and sure hope that my card fits them all well. In alphabetic order, they are:

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge Polka Dots and/or Stripe.  I didn’t have polka dot paper so  I created my own by making the sails of the sailboat polka dot.

Next is the Dragonfly Dreams Challenge for man or boy.  I think this one should qualify as it is for groom.

Next is the  Pinspirational Challenge   I believe the icon they provide for this challenge says it all  L-O-V-E  since my card is for a groom I believe that is love.

And… Watercooler Wednesday  Dawn’s Masculine “Anything Goes” Challenge.  So my card for a bridegroom works for this one also.

The sailboat is one of the laser cuts from the  Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack.  I added the polka dots in the sail and on the boat as I had no polka dot paper.

The greeting on the front is from the  Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack also.

The anchor trinket in the lower right corner is from the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Trinkets and is tied with a short length of Stampin’ Up! Braided Linen Trim.  The anchor is popped on the card front using a Glue Dot.

A strip of navy and white stripes from the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away DSP is cut and adhered at the bottom of the card front just below the sailboat.  This is in keeping with the  Crafty Gals Challenge to use stripes.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy ink on a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack and is adhered to a panel  of  Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the theme of sailboat on the card front.  I used two stickers from the Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack to decorate the envelope front. I   gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away DSP.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and my wish is that your day be blessed and that you find inspiration and encouragement for your own creations.

Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away

Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away

My card today is created using the Stampin’ Up Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack.  This is a simple card to make #simplestamping.  Really there is no stamping to it.  We learned it all in kindergarten, cut and paste!

The challenge I am playing along with today is Sketch Saturday

The card is put together using either Liquid Glue, Glue Dots or Stampin’ Up! Stampin Dimensionals.  The greeting panel is popped on using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside sentiment is created using the stickers in the  Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack.

The card from the card pack is adhered using Liquid Glue and the stickers one in the middle of the compass and the other just a bit below.

To finish my card I decorated a  Very Vanilla Envelope so it will coordinate with the background panel on the card front.  I popped the sticker images from the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More card set on the front of the envelope.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and my wish is that your day be blessed.
