Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Place

Happy Day everyone! Hope your day turns out the way you desire!

Today’s card features the Stampin’ Up! In Good Taste DSP and Poinsettia Place DSP. The two make for a beautifully simple card.

The inspiration design comes from the Fusion Challenge.

Just Us Girls gives inspiration with their Wild Card Challenge for using Die-Cut Words.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler card stock with a panel of Stampin’ Up! In Good Taste DSP layered over the top. A narrow panel from Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Place DSP is matted using Cherry Cobbler card stock and layered over the In Good Taste panel.

The flower and berries are fussy cut from a panel of the Poinsettia Place DSP and popped over the narrow panel using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots. The Love is die-cut from a scrap of a Gold Foil Sheet using the Stampin’ Up! Well Written Dies. Stampin’ Up! Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped in the flower center and around the card front.

The inside is left blank, so a note can be written, except for a poinsettia in the corner.

The envelope gets a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP added to the flap. I had thought about adding a bow to the card and took a picture and forgot to take one without, so you are seeing a bow in this photo.

Welcome to a chilly (right down cold) day here. I thought it was Fall not Winter.

Inspiration for this card design is from the Freshly Made Sketches – 459 sketch by jen

The card today features the Stampin’ Up! Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder and the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper (available in January 2021). The hello greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern stamp set.

How do you give instructions on creating? The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock with a background panel embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder. Two different pieces of the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden DSP is using in cutting the angles. You can cut the angles the desired size you prefer. Fussy cut the little dragonflies and the bees and pop on the blue piece. Three Stampin’ Up! 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots are added to the card front.

The more I looked at the inside panel the more I felt it would be better as just a blank page with only the small greeting. Maybe it is the angle it was photographed.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White medium size envelope gets a panel of the Dandy Garden DSP added to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods

Up! WFriday is here and the weekend looms ahead. Any fabulous plans for the weekend?

The card today is a Z – fold card. This type card is fun to create.

The inspiration for today comes from the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge – Karen’s Challenge All About Occasions

Usually, the card cuts to create a card is at the end of the post but I think cuts may be needed in giving instructions creating this card.

To create a double z fold card, start with a piece of Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler cardstock that measures 8-1/2″ x 11″ inches. From this piece of cardstock, you will cut one piece of card stock 4-1/4″ x 11″ score this piece at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″. Cut a 1″ x 11″ piece of Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler card stock and score it at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″. This will form your z fold section that is the base for your trees to be attached.

Double Z Fold Measurements:

A – Cherry Cobbler card stock 4-1/4″ x 11″ card base, scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
B – Cherry Cobbler card stock 1-1/4″ x 11″ cardstock (front piece), scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
C – Tis’ The Season Designer Series Paper – larger panel – 4″ x 5-1/4″
Whisper White (sentiment) 3 ” x 4″ Cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Tis’ The Season Designer Paper – the two panels behind the 3 trees

Before you adhered the 1″ strip to the card base you need to adhere the Stampin’ Up! Tis The Season Designer Series Paper that goes on the card base. The measurement for each panel is above. Once you have done that adhere the 1″ strip. The Z fold goes opposite the way the card base folds. You can see from above that the smaller folded section goes to the right side. The larger section goes to the left where the three trees are attached.

The trees from the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods stamp set are stamped in Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce ink and cropped using the In the Woods Dies. Two trees are cropped from Shaded Spruce card stock using one of the In the Woods Dies. The trees are then adhered to the 1″ strip that has been adhered to the card base. The sentiment and greeting are stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White card stock and cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Stampin’ Up! Rhinestone Basic Jewels are colored using a Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Cherry Cobbler Marker. A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Medium Envelope gets a panel of the Tis’ The Season DSP added to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden

Hoping everyone survived the weather we had last night! One more day and you can start your weekend that is if you are not one of the people who works weekends!

Today I am sharing a card created using Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper and the Stitched Label Dies, Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set and the Stampin’ Up! Very Versaille stamp set. It makes for a pretty simple easy card.

The design inspiration comes from the Paper Player Sketch Challenge: PP514

Start with a card base of Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock with a panel of Bumblebee card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder and matted on a Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze card stock mat.

Using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Label Dies crop three mats from the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper for the dragonflies that have been punched from the DSP using the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Punch.

Stamp the greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versaille stamp set in Tuxedo Memento Black in at the bottom of the Bumblebee embossed panel then adhere the three mats to the Bumblebee embossed panel using Multipurpose Glue. Pop the dragonflies onto the panel using Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add three Stampin’ Up! 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots to the embossed panel and your card front is finished.

The sentiments are from Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set and Forever Blossoms stamp set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. The leaf art is from the Very Versailles stamp set and the dragonfly is from the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set. The dragonfly is stamped in Memento Black ink and colored using Stampin’ Up! Bumblebee ink which is one of the new in-colors for 2020-2022.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Medium size envelope get a panel of the Dandy Garden DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery with Majestic Mountain

Today I am sharing a card created using Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper and the Majestic Mountain Dies that coordinate with the Mountain Air Stamp Set. It makes for a simple, easy card that is pretty.

The inspiration for the design is from the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.

Start with a card base of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock with a panel of Whisper White card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Cut seven 15/16″ x 2-1/8″ strips from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery DSP and adhere down the right side of the embossed panel using Multipurpose Glue.

Crop the tree using the Stampin’ Up! Majestic Mountain Dies and adhere to the Whisper White embossed portion of the panel. Stamp the greeting from Stampin’ Up! Rooted in Nature stamp set in Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce ink. Pop the greeting on at the base of the tree using Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dots.

Give the flap of a Stampin’ Up! Medium Whisper White envelope a panel of the Forever Greenery DSP.

The inside is blank to write a note.
