Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods

I hope it isn’t another rainy day, I know the earth needs it, but it is depressing so to help my depression all I can do is make cards!  Do you think that is the correct medicine?

My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Bundle.  I am happy Stampin’ Up! kept this set, it helps to make up for not having Lovely As A Tree!  My card is like one that Beth McCullough made but I used red, she used pink.  You can see her’s here.  I wanted to play in the Dragonfly Dreams Challenge.  The theme is to use black lots or a little.  So I needed a black card and Beth’s just happen to appear in my mailbox, so thank you, Beth, for this lovely card you made so I could CAS(E).

The card has a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock base with a Basic Black panel embossed using Stampin’ Up! White Embossing Powder with some of the trees from the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Set.

Run a piece of the Stampin’ Up! Sparkle Glimmer paper through the Big Shot using the Stampin’ Up! In the Woods die that looks like a thin curvy piece of metal, this will make the slope for the snow.
Using the 1st and 3rd largest Stampin’ Up! Stitched Rectangles Dies crop a frame from a panel of Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock. Adhere the snow slope to the back of the frame using Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dots or Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals if you did not crop three of the frames to gives the frame stability and thickness.  You will then adhere the frame to the Basic Black panel using Glue Dots.

To make the evergreen Silver tree, use the evergreen dies from the Stampin’ Up! In The Woods Dies and Stampin’ Up! Silver Glimmer Paper.  Cut two trees and adhere together using Mini Glue Dot.  Color seven Stampin’ Up! Basic Rhinestone Jewels using a Stampin’ Blends Light Cherry Cobbler Marker then pop on the tree that has been popped on the card front in the left corner of the frame.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black in on a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock panel that is matted on a panel of Real Red card stock.  The picture of my card not being straight in the pictures gives the allusion that the sentiment is crooked.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Blessed Christmas Wishes

Stampin’ Up! Blessed Christmas Wishes

Happy Friday all!  Are you looking for a great weekend ahead?  I am.  I have been invited to a tea and I am looking forward to it.  The private school I used to work had teas once a month for the girls that were turning 16 and they still do.  It was always such a fun time.  In days gone by two different places here in Atlanta had afternoon tea, I am sure there were many more and think there are still places that have tea.  I know of one called Tea Leaves and Thyme that a friend and I go to often for lunch.

My challenge for today is with Freshly Made Sketches.

My card today is really, really simple. A few cuts with your trimmer and it is finished.  I am using Stampin’ Up! Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set.

Two panels were cut from the Stampin’ Up! Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper and adhered together and then adhered to the Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow card base.  A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink on a small strip of Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla card stock, matted with a Mossy Meadow card stock mat and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside sentiment from the Christmas Rose Stamp Set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a Very Vanilla card stock panel and then adhered to the card base.  Two strips from the Brightly Gleaming DSP is adhered around the border on two sides.

My Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla envelope get a panel of the Brightly Gleaming DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose and Toile Tidings!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose and Toile Tidings!

Happy Day!  Bet everyone is busy shopping all the stamps that are for sale at Stampin’ Up! today only!

My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Toile Tiding Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set (available November 1).

My inspiration for the design comes from the challenge Crazy 4 Challenge.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla card stock base and add a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock mat for the background panel that is cut from Stampin’ Up! Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper.

A banner is cut from another panel of the Toile Tidings DSP and matted with Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock.  This is adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The art piece is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Garden Green ink with a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose stamp set.  The pine sprigs are also from this stamp set.  Two Stampin’ Up! 2019-2021 In Color Facuted Dot are popped on the bottom of the art piece.  I colored two of the Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile Dots with a Stampin’ Up! Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Marker so I would have Cherry Cobbler color.

The inside sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set.  It is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Garden Green ink on the Very Vanilla panel.  A panel of the Toile Tidings DSP is adhered down the left side of the Very Vanilla panel.

The Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla envelope gets a panel of the Toile Tidings DSP to the envelope flap and some fussy cutting for the front.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.
