Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop
Welcome! It that time, the 2nd Tuesday of the month you have been waiting for with excitement, a fun team blog hop from Amy’s Inkin’ Krew. The theme for this month is “Birthday”. You are in for a treat seeing all the talent these ladies present to you. Sit back with your favorite beverage and enjoy. You will see cards that will inspire you to get creative as you jump from blog to blog.
The card I am sharing today for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop is created using Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set and Dies, along with Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions stamp set. There is a diagram and card cuts at the end of the post showing how to cut and score. My card is a CAS of Connie Stewart’s card.
- Score and fold on the score lines in an accordion style. Using a pencil make a mark 1-1/4″ down from the top of the card on the left side. Cut from the pencil mark up to the 3″ score line. You can see the diagram at the bottom. There is a red line showing where to cut.
- Adhere the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper to the Boho Blue cardstock mats. I found it easier to start with the largest triangle to adhere to the card base. Placing adhesive only on the left edge of the triangle and at the bottom. You want to leave the top open for the little card or gift card.
- On the 2nd largest triangle place adhesive on the longest side of the triangle and adhere, you can see in the photo how it is adhered. I placed the triangle on the middle section before adding adhesive and made a tiny pencil mark so I would know how far to place the adhesive on the back of the triangle.
- Repeat this step for the small triangle that is in front.
- On a piece of Basic White cardstock stamp in Boho Blue ink the large daisy from Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set. Stamp the center of the daisy using Copper Clay ink. Using the matching die from the Cheerful Daisies dies, die cut the daisy.
- 2023-2025 In Color Dots are popped around the card front and onto the little Basic White card.
- In Boho Blue ink, stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set on the top of the little Basic White card.
- Choose a daisy image from the stamp set and stamp the daisy in Boho Blue ink, stamp the daisy center in Copper Clay ink, and last stamp the stem and leaves for the daisy in Wild Wheat ink.
- On the inside of the little Basic White card, stamp in Boho Blue ink a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions stamp set.
- In the lower right corner of the card stamp in Boho Blue ink a flower image from Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Expressions stamp set.
- A Basic White envelope gets a piece of the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap.

One of the perks of being a demonstrator is that you get to pre-order before a new catalog launches so you are able to show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out. You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card making items, or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount. When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.
