Stampin’ Up! Forever Grapevine

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Forever Grapevine Stamp Set. I also used the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set for a greeting.

Design inspiration for today comes from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the same used to crop the two triangles using the Stitched Triangles Dies for each corner of the sketch design. The panel the triangles are cropped from is popped after having a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set stamped in Highland Heather ink.

On the tringles, a grapevine from the Forever Grapevine Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Granny Apple Green and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers. The triangles are popped back into the negative space left from the cropping using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three pearls from the Pastels Pearls collection are popped around the greeting.

The Basic White sentiment panel has a sentiment from the Forever Grapevine Stamp Set stamped in Highland Heather ink. The grapevines in each corner are stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored the same as the front panels. It is then adhered to the card base.

A medium Basic White envelope gets the envelope flap gets a grapevine stamped on the flap and colored.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflower

Good Day, it is Wednesday and you are on the downhill side toward the weekend.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflower Stamp Set. I believe this is the first card in a while that I do not have an embossed panel. The giant sunflower and DSP make up the card.

My design today is inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.

I started with Flirty Flamingo card stock as the base, adding layers of DSP matted on Basic White card stock. The Calyspo Coral polka dot panel from You’re A Peach DSP is used as the background panel. A panel of Sweet Symmetry DSP is added down the middle, with the final layer being from Hand Penned DSP.

The giant sunflower from Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflower is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and cropped using a die from the Sunflower Dies. it is then popped on using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz, fussy cut, and popped around the sunflower.

The greeting is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a scrap left from the Hand Penned DSP, fussy cut and popped on the card front

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of You’re A Peach DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Thank You!

Happy Monday all, I am hoping for a sunny day here today. I hope everyone had a nice weekend.

This is not the card intended for today, you were going to see a card created using Stampin’ Up!’s new Quite Curvy Stamp Set but since we all need a little sunshine, I decided to share Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set. It makes a cheery and bright card. At the time I made this I could not find my package of Stampin’ Up! Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper (DSP) so I made a strip to use. I think it turned out rather nice.

Watercooler Wednesday–WWC292- Dawn’s Challenge: Anything Goes With a Feminine Twist.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Layers Dies for the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White panel behind the sunflower. The sunflower is stamped using Stampin’ Up! Crushed Curry ink on a panel of Crushed Curry card stock. The veins of the sunflower are cropped from a panel of Stampin’ Up! So Saffron card stock using the vein sunflower die from Stampin’ Up! Sunflower Dies.

I used a strip of Whisper White card stock to create my DSP using the small sunflower in the Celebrate Sunshine Stamp Set. I used the pen tip of a Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker to make the dots on the card stock and a white gel pen (non-Stampin’ Up!) to make the white dots. This DSP is what you can call paper piecing as I pieced many bits together to get the right look. The leaves of the large sunflower are stamped on Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce card stock using Shaded Spruce ink.

There is no inside sentiment as this is a thank you card and I want to write a note.

The card I am sharing today is a Double Z Fold card. It features the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set. This card is a CAS(E) of a stampin’ friend and team member in New Jersey, no not Amy Koenders🙂, but Karen Ksenzakovic. You can see her card here.

My inspiration for this fun fold card comes from the Dream Valley Challenge – the theme is More Than One Fold

The tiny butterflies are cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Beauty Dies. The sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden, Sending Sunshine, and Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Sets are stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on different size labels that have been cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White medium-sized envelope gets a panel of the Celebrate Sunflowers added to the envelope flap and your project is finished.
