Stampin’ Up! Angels of Peace Christmas Card

My card today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Angels of Peace and For Unto Us Stamp Sets, along with the Merry Melody 3-D Embossing Folder.

I am playing along with the Creative Creases Challenge for today.

The card base is Basic White card stock as is the Merry Melody 3-D Embossed panel. This is a step card. The embossed panels have strip of Gold Foil adhered down the side.

The angels from the Stampin’ Up! Angels of Peace Stamp Set are stamped with Versa Mark then embossed using Stampin’ Up! Gold Embossing Powder. They are colored using Polished Pink and Balmy Blue ink and a Water Painter. I love doing watercolor. After coloring they are popped on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used watercolor pencils to color the bird, holly in the little angel’s hand, her head wreath, and the faces and arms. To give a little shadow to the angel wings, I used a really water down Balmy Blue ink, so there is just the faintest color. Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped around the card front. A star is cropped from Gold Foil paper. The greeting from Stampin’ Up! For Unto Us Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink, fussy cut and popped on a Gold Foil background.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! For Unto Us Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. The little angel from the Angels of Peace Stamp Set is stamped in Gold ink. The panel has a Gold Foil strip adhered down the left side.

A medium while envelope gets the envelope flap embossed using the Merry Melody 3-D Embossing Folder.

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Tomorrow Thinking of You Card

My card today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Tomorrow Stamp Set, the Beautiful Leaves Dies, the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder, and the Blackberry Beauty DSP.

My design for today comes from the Sunday Stamps Challenge.

I started with a Cinnamon Cider card stock card base, adding a layer of Early Expresso card stock as a mat for the Blackberry Beauty DSP. They are adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The big die from the Beautiful Leaves Dies is used to crop a piece of Gold Foil. It is placed behind another panel of the Blackberry Beauty DSP that has been cropped using a Stitched So Sweetly Die. Two little birds are cropped from Cinnamon Cider card stock and popped on corners of the Blackberry Beauty DSP panel. A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Stamp Set is stamped on Early Espresso card stock and cropped using a small die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies, then matted on a small piece of Early Espresso and popped on the card front.

The inside panel has another of the Beauty of Tomorrow flowers stamped in Cinnamon Cider on the corner of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets flowers (if that’s what they are) stamped on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Cabin Thinking of You Card

My card today is a fun fold and is created using the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set, Cabin Dies and the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder.

I love fun fold and this is my challenge for the day, Creative Creases Challenge. It is always a fun fold challenge.

I used a piece of Real Red card stock to show the score lines as red shows up better than Smoky Slate with scorelines. Score at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″, 6-1/4″ and 7-1/2″.

From Real Red card stock cut this: (4) 1-1/8″ x 5-1/8″; (2) 3-3/8″ x 5-1/8″ These are the for mats for the DSP. Adhere using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

From the Peaceful Place DSP cut the following: (4) 1″ x 5″; (1) 3-1/4″ x 5″. Adhere to the Real Red, then adhere to the card base front and back. Pop 3 Holiday Rhinestones on the trees.

From Basic White card stock cut a 3-1/4″ x 5″ panel for the sentiment panel. Adhere to the Real Red mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Placeful Place DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Forever Grapevine Stamp Set, Intricate Leaves Dies which coordinate with the Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set, Blackberry Beauty DSP, and the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder. It has become my all-time favorite since the Subtle Embossing Folder has retired.

Inspiration for my design comes from the Try Stampin On Tuesday Challenge.

I am also playing in the Tic, Tac Toe Challenge. I am going down the left side — ribbon, die cuts — foliage.

I started with a Gorgeous Grape card stock card base with a panel of Highland Heather card stock embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder.

Strips of Blackberry Beauty DSP are cut and adhered to the Highland Heather panel and embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder. A circle is cropped from Basic White card stock using a die from the Layering Dies.

Leaves are cropped in Highland Heather, Pumpkin Pie, and So Saffron card stock and adhered to the Basic White circle, embossed, and is then popped over the strip of Blackberry Beauty card stock after Crumb Cake twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack is wrapped under the circle several times and adhered with Mini Glue Dots.

Sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Forever Grapevine Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Highland Heather card stock. Leaves are cropped from So Saffron, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, and Rich Razzleberry card stock.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Blackberry Beauty card stock applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Simply Elegant Thank You Card

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Simply Elegant DSP. Again, I am using my kindergarten skills on this one. Not much stamping, only the greeting, and the sentiment. This DSP made an elegant card. Pictures do not show the beauty of this card, because of the gold, silver, and copper foiling the light bounces around so much, the flowers may be dark in one picture and shining in another one.

My design inspiration for today is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

I started with a Smoky Slate card stock card base. To this card base, I added a panel of the Simply Elegant DSP matted onto a panel of Basic Black. This panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A different panel of the DSP is used to cut a band to go across the middle of the card front. This also is matted on Basic Black card stock and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of Smoky Slate card stock is cropped using a die from the Scalloped Contour Dies. Flowers are fussy cut from another panel of the DSP and popped onto the Smoky Slate panel. A length of black twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack is wrapped around the cropped panel and tied in a bow. Bling from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels is popped on the panel, the panel is then popped over the band using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A from the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a piece of Smoky Slate card stock, trimmed to a small size, and flagged on one end. It is matted on a small strip of Basic Black card stock which is also flagged on one end. The greeting is popped vertically using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Smoky Slate card stock that is matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock. Flowers from the Blackberry Beauty DSP is fussy cut and adhered to the lower corner of the Smoky Slate panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Simply Elegant DSP that matches the card front applied to the envelope flap.
