Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Thinking of You Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Stamp Set, along with two different embossing folders, Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I had to take a picture of the catalog for the stamp set. I loaned my set before taking pictures.

Inspiration comes from the Paper Craft Crew Challenge. Down the right side is my choice.

The color scheme of the Color Throwdown Challenge is my inspiration for my colors for this card.

Another color challenge with Double D and their Shades of Pink.

I started with a Polished Pink card base with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. The panel is adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. Using a Blender Brush and Polished Pink ink a bit of color is added on the panel where the flowers will be adhered. You can see it faintly, guess I should have made it a bit darker for the camera. This panel will be adhered over the Flowering Fields DSP panel after the flowers and leaves are arranged and adhered to the panel. The largest flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Stamp Set is stamped in Smoky Slate ink. It would have been better if I had stamped in Memento ink since the flowers were water-colored.

Some of the flowers are watercolored using Polished Pink ink for the majority of the flowers. The flower centers are colored with a So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker. A Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends Marker is used to color several of the smaller flowers. Using dies from the Flowers Of Home Dies greenery is cropped using Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, and Granny Apple Green card stock.

The flowers are popped on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, the greenery is adhered behind the flowers using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A single Brushed Brass Butterfly is popped on the large flower with Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels being scattered around the card front.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets flowers added in the lower right corner. The panel is framed in a panel of Flowering Fields DSP.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Flowering Fields DSP applied to the envelope using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance Thinking of You Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance Stamp Set along with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder.

One of my challenges for the day is Krafty Chicks Challenge – All Occasions.

I am also playing the Tic, Tac Toe Challenge — I am going down the middle row.

Another challenge is the NBUS Challenge — the stamp set I am using is new to me.

The card base is Smoky Slate card stock with a panel of Basic Black card stock as a mat for the background panel.

An image from the Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance Stamp Set is stamped on a panel of Sweet Talk DSP using Polished Pink and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers. A panel of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. These two panels are adhered to the Basic Black mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A panel of Vellum card stock is adhered over the background panel and a Misty Moonlight bow is created using ribbon from the Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack. The same image is stamped on a small panel of Basic White card stock with the same markers. A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Stamp Set is stamped in Night of Navy ink on this panel and popped over the background panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. A Brushed Brass Butterfly is popped on the panel and sequins left over from a Paper Pumpkin are also popped on the panel.

Images from the Stampin’ Up! Ranunculus Romance Stamp Set are stamped on the inside panel using the same Stampin’ Write Markers as on the front along with Smoky Slate ink for the ledger image.

An image is stamped on the front and the flap of the medium Basic White envelope.

Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Hello Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Stamp Set, along with Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove Stamp Set.

My design for this card is inspired by the Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge.

I started with a card base of Pale Papaya card stock, adding a layer of Evening Evergreen card stock as a mat for the On The Horizon DSP. I stamped one of the images from Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Stamp Set in Smoky Slate ink, fussy cut her, then colored her using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Dark Pale Papaya for the shirt, Balmy Blue for the jeans, Crumb Cake for her hair, and a Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Marker for her cup. I popped her over the panel of On The Horizon DSP.

I stamped two trees from the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove Stamp Set in Old Olive ink on the right side of the On The Horizon panel. I stamped in Olive Ink the grass and flower bunch from the same set. Using a Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Pen, I made dots on the flowers to add a bit of color. This flower bunch is popped at the bottom of the panel so it looks as if the girl is sitting in the flowers.

Birds from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon Stamp Set are stamped in Night of Navy ink at the top of the panel. The hello is from an old Paper Pumpkin kit. Several Brushed Brash Butterflies are scattered around the card front.

The sentiment is stamped in Old Olive ink on the Basic White panel and is from the Stampin’ Up! On The Horizon Stamp Set. A leftover strip of the New Horizon DSP is added at the bottom of the panel and a few Brushed Brass Buttersfiles are added.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of the New Horizon DSP left from the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Windmill Fields Dies Happy Birthday Card

The card I am sharing is created using Stampin’ Up! Windmill Fields Dies. The dies come as a bundle with the Stampin’ Up! Tulip Fields Stamp Set.

My challenge for today is Addicted to Stamps and More. Their theme for this challenge is Birthdays.

This is a single-piece card as the two layers are adhered together to create the slider. Dawn Griffith has a great video on the creation of this card. Watch her video. Instructions are much better than I can give.

This is a view of the card when opened and looking from overhead. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set. One of the sentiments is from Stampin’ Up! Season’s Blessings Stamp Set and the other is from Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Stamp Set, a free set during Sale-a-bration with a qualified purchase.

This is the card looking straight on once it is opened.

Stampin’ Up! Safari Celebration PP Happy St Patrick Day Card

The card I am sharing today is created using elements from this month’s Safari Celebration Paper Pumpkin Kit. It is an alternative card.

This is a picture of how Paper Pumpkin suggests the card be made, but I always like adding to the card and since I am starting St. Paddy Day cards for several children, I found the animals in this kit perfect for the task. Did you notice the monkey’s arms? This is a cute card and I will make the others like this but will another card base and use the one shown as a layer.

Inspiration for today’s challenge is the Crafty Animals Challenge. Their theme is Anything Goes but include an animal on your card.

My card starts with an Evening Evergreen card base with a layer of Soft Succulent card stock next that will be used as a mat for the background panel. The Soft Succulent panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The background panel will be adhered once all the elements are applied to the panel.

I added one of the Vellum cuts from the kit to the Bumblebee panel after I had stenciled on the panel using one of the negative elements from punching out the leaves and stems and twigs. I used Rich Razzleberry ink and a Blending Brush to do the stenciling.

I re-located the direction of the monkey’s arms enabling him to hold a shamrock in each hand. I drew the shamrocks on Shaded Spruce card stock, embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder, then fussy cut and popped them in the monkey’s hands. I didn’t like his pants, they were too plain so I cut a pair from a scrap of DSP and adhered using Liquid Glue. His hat, I cut from a scrap of Shaded Spruce card stock, drew a black band on the hat, and added a Brushed Brass Butterfly.

I added to the Vellum panel a Soft Succulent and Fresh Freesia leaf from the Paper Pumpkin Kit. Taking several lengths of Crumb Cake twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack, I looped it around my hand pinching the middle and using a Mini Glue Dot, adhered to the Vellum. Over this twine, I popped a punched heart from Basic White card stock with the greeting stamped in Shaded Spruce ink. Several more Brushed Brass Butterflies are popped around the panel and the panel is adhered over the Soft Succulent panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

From the Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set, a sentiment and one leaf are stamped in Shaded Spruce ink. Another leaf is stamped in Granny Apple Green ink and the twig is one of the elements from the Paper Pumpkin Kit and is adhered with the Liquid Glue.

The envelope is one that comes with the Paper Pumpkin Kit.
