Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Penciled Always Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is created using Perfectly Penciled DSP, along with Blackberry Bliss ink, Blender Pens, Sweet Sorbet & Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The Global Design Project is my challenge for the day.

A panel of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. This panel is adhered to the Basic White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set (now retired and one I will always keep) is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a Basic White card stock panel and then cropped using a die from the Basic Border Dies. It is popped over the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Flowers from the Perfectly Penciled DSP are fussy cut and colored using Blackberry Bliss ink, a Blender Pen, and Sweet Sorbet and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. After coloring, the flowers are arranged under the edges above and below the greeting piece. Sweet Sorbet dots from the Glossy Dot Assortment are popped around various spots on the card front. A little butterfly is popped on the corner of the greeting.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets flowers matching the flowers on the card front adhered to the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of 2022-2024 Regal DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Thinking of You

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set for the flowers, Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments stamp set for the greeting, and Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Delight for the flourish of dots.

The challenge is the Sunday Stamps Challenge. I chose Real Read, Soft Succulent, and Blackberry Bliss as my colors.

The card base is Blackberry Bliss card stock with the art piece being Basic White card stock. I used Real Red ink to stamp the flowers, Soft Succulent for the leaves, and Blackberry Bliss for the flourish of dots and the greeting. A length of Faux Linen ribbon is wrapped around the art piece and tied in a know.

The inside panel is Basic White card stock with a flower matching the ones on the card front stamped in the corner.

A Basic White medium envelope gets flowers matching the card front and the inside panel stamped on the envelope flap.

Sending Hugs with A Recipe For Subtle Beauty AYSI

Today I’m sharing my card as Guest Designer for the new challenge over at As you See It Challenge. I used Blossoms instead of Boats, Bears, and Balloons for my B.

I am also entering my card with NBUS – use Never Before Used Schtuff

I started with a card base of Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Ferns 3D Embossing Folder. I emboss a separate panel because I have ruined too many card fronts trying to emboss using the entire card. It is so much easier to emboss, then adhere to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I colored flowers from Perfectly Penciled DSP using the Stampin’ Blends in the Subtle Colors. I found it interesting that I colored the inside flowers with the same Blends yet they are a different color.

After coloring the flowers, I fussy cut and popped over the Subtle 6″ x 6″ DSP panel adhered over the Ferns 3D Embossed panel. This panel is matted on a piece of Balmy Blue from the same Subtle pack. I colored several Rhinestone Basic Jewels using the Dark Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Marker and randomly popped them around the card front. A length of Crumb Cake twine from the Twine Essential Pack is adhered under the flowers on one end of the card.

I colored more flowers for the inside panel. A panel of Basic White card stock gets a strip of the Subtle 6′ x 6″ DSP applied along the bottom, the flowers are adhered over the strip using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of the Subtle 6″ x 6″ DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Stamp Set and Sending Dies along with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.

My card design is from TGIF Challenges.

I am also entering the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. My card can down the left side or diagonally from Embossing to Floral.

I started with a Night of Navy card stock card base. I added a layer of Basic White card stock embossed using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I added a layer of Neutral 6′ x 6″ DSP. One is a strip, the other is the reverse side of the strip. The polka dot panel is embossed using a panel from the Sun Prints DSP. The final layer is another panel of Basic White card stock embossed using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.

The flowers are stamped in Balmy Blue ink and Starry Sky ink along with Old Olive ink for the leaves. Since my dog punch is still in storage someplace, I stamped the dog from the Happy Trails stamp set and fussy cut it and the one for the inside panel.

The word Sending is cropped from Balmy Blue card stock and adhered to the Basic White Shadow of it then popped across the front of the card at an angle. One of the greetings is popped under it and the other is popped beside it. A bow is made using the Starry Sky ribbon.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Happy Tails a long-retired stamp set is used as it is the only one I had for losing a pet. My sister lost her fur baby to cancer this week so this card is for her.

Stampin’ Up! Happy HedgeHog and Sweet Songbirds

The card I am sharing today is a combination of two stamp sets, Stampin’ Up! Happy Hedgehogs for the art piece and Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds for the greeting and sentiment. I also used Basic Borders Dies to give a decorative edge to the art piece.

Today, I am entering the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge — their theme for this challenge is Any Occasion.

My card has many layers today starting with a Bermuda Bay card stock card base, adding a layer of Basic White card stock, a layer of Early Espresso card stock as a mat for the art piece, and a strip of Bermuda Bay card stock cropped using a die from the Basic Borders Dies.

My art piece is watercolored so there are no dark borders showing, I used Sahara Sand ink, stamping off once leaving only a faint outline when stamped. Barely touching the end of a Water Painter to the ink pads I colored the flowers with Daffodil Delight ink, the tree trunk with Early Espresso ink, and the leaves with a mixture of Old Olive and Granny Apple Green ink. The center of the flowers I colored using a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Marker. The bird is Melon Mambo and Balmy Blue ink.

I colored a length of Pool Party Sheer Ribbon using a Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Marker. The ribbon is wrapped around all layers and tied in a knot giving the appearance of a bow. Jewels are popped around the card front and then the layered pieces are adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy ink in the upper corner of the art piece.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets a bird from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hedgehogs stamp set stamped in Sahara Sand ink in the lower corner along with a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds Stamp Set also stamped in Sahara Sand ink.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP adhered to the envelope flap.
