Stampin’ Up! Sweet Springtime

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Springtime

The card I am sharing today is created using the stamp set that come with the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin, called Sweet Springtime.  I also used the crosshatch 3D embossing folder from the Basic 3D Embossing Folders.  The inside sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set.

The card base is Granny Apple Green cardstock. Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to adhere the blue piece at the top of the card from Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper and the Granny Apple cardstock piece die cut using a die from Basic Border Dies.  The Granny Apple Green piece is embossed using the crosshatch embossing folder from Basic 3D Embossing Folders.  The two pieces are adhered to the Basic White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.   I cut some clouds, I sure hope they look like clouds and adhered in the sky.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set is stamped on one of the clouds in Wild Wheat ink.

A frame from the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin Sweet Springtime is adhered over the top of the sky and grass pieces.  Two bunnies from the Paper Pumpkin Sweet Springtime stamp set is stamped in Wild Wheat ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock and Crumb Cake cardstock.  They are fussy cut and popped on the card front under the greenery.  Daffodils are also stamped and colored using Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.  The daffodils are popped around the bunnies.

This is how the card looks when it is opened into an easel.  I stamped the chick image from the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin Sweet Springtime three times in Wild Wheat ink along with two daffodils.  I colored these using Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.  The are popped around the bottom section of the Granny Apple Green embossed panel.  The middle chick is the stop for the easel.  Adhesive Backed Dragonflies & Birds and Brushed Brass Butterflies are popped around the card front.

When you open the easel all the way, you can see the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set stamped in Wild Wheat ink.  A bunch of daffodils are also added to the left corner.  A Brushed Brass Butterfly is added to the corner of the sentiment.

A Basic White envelope gets the negative piece left when the Granny Apple Green piece was die cut.  It is adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow/Painted Lavender

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow/Painted Lavender

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set and Dies and Painted Lavender Dies, Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set. I also use Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper.  I couldn’t decide which I liked better, the flower or the sprig so I made a card with each.

I am joining the Sunday Stamp Challenge for this card.

Start with a Gorgeous Grape cardstock card base.  Add a layer of Pretty Peacock cardstock. Cut a piece of Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper adding the piece over the Pretty Peacock piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut two pieces of Pretty Peacock cardstock and two pieces of Gorgeous Grape cardstock.  Measurements are at the end of the post.  Die cut the flower from Quiet Meadow Dies  and the sprig from Painted Lavender Dies using Basic White cardstock.  Cut two pieces of Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper. You can see in the above photo how the two are matted. A bow is made using Linen Thread and popped behind the greeting from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set that is stamped in Memento Black ink for one and Pretty Peacock for the other.  One of the greeting is die cut using a die from Quiet Meadow DiesPurple Fine Shimmer Gems are popped around the card front.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock.    I stamped a good amount of sentiments using these two stamp sets, so I would have them ready for any occasion so cards made for a few days will be having the same inside sentiment.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper adhered  to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Krafty Chicks Challenge #707

Krafty Chicks Challenge #707

Krafty Chicks Challenge #707 Christmas —Denise

I have the honor of being the Guest Chick for Krafty Chicks Challenge for the month of March.   This is the second week and the theme as you can see above is Christmas.  It is never too early to get a start for your Christmas cards.  i can’t wait to see all the Christmas cards.

I am so happy Stampin’ Up! carried this stamp set over.  It is a beautiful set and makes beautiful Christmas cards. Inked Botanicals is the Designer Series Paper used as the background pieces.

The card base is Lost Lagoon cardstock with a layer of Pretty Peacock cardstock as the mat for the Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper background.  I cut a piece of the Inked Botanical cut in four pieces, embossed using the Cross Hatch 3D Embossing Folder from Basic 3D Embossing Folders. The four pieces are then adhered to the Pretty Peacock cardstock mat leaving a border between each.

A tag is die cut from a piece of Basic White cardstock  using a die from Stampin’ Up! Merriest Tree Dies. A greeting is stamped on the tag in Memento Black ink. A length of Pool Party ribbon is looped through the tag and tied in a bow.  A tree image from Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees stamp set is stamped in Garden Green ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock, die cut and popped on the tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Snowflakes are also die cut from Basic White cardstock and popped on the card front.  Rhinestone Basic  Jewels are popped in the center of each snowflake.

The negative piece left when the tree on the card front was die cut is used as the frame for a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock.  A sentiment is stamped in Versa Mark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat embossed using a heat gun.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest — Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest — Thinking of You

The card I am sharing is created using Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest stamp set and Dies.  This card is a CAS of Karen Ksenzahovic .  By clicking on her name you will be able to go to her blog and see how she created this card.  I had thought of this design as I am sure others have, but Karen made it first so she needs the credit for it.  I also used Meadering Meadow Designer Series Paper, and a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set.

This is the challenge I am entering for this card.

Creative Creases Challenge

Using a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock die cut with the die you see in the above photo on the left.  This die cut piece adheres to the left edge of the 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ card base that has been scored at 4-1/4″ using Tear & Tape or adhesive of your choice.

Adhere  a piece of Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper to the left side of the card base. the card will open on the left instead of the regular right side.  There will also be a panel of the same adhered to the inside of this panel. You can see that in the photo above this one.

Foliage is die cut from pieces of Granny Apple Green and Old Olive cardstock and a scrap of Meadering Meadow Designer Series Paper using dies from Delicate Forest Dies.  These pieces are adhered at the bottom of the card front to add more foliage to the die cut card front.

This is how the card front looks once embellishments are added.  Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots are popped around the card front.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set is stamped on a panel of Basic White cardstock in Shaded Spruce ink.  A tree image from Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce and Pecan Pie ink.  A strip of Meadering Meadow Designer Series Paper is fussy cut to give the appearance that the tree is on a hill.  It is adhered to the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Another panel of Meadering Meadow Designer Series Paper is adhered to the right inside panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White envelope get a panel of Meadering Meadow Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap.
