Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

Happy Friday, I think I just realized that I was a day ahead when I posted Thursday’s post.  I was thinking today was Friday and it seemed that way all day.  Do you have fun plans to celebrate July 4th?  Do you and your family always go watch the fireworks? Fireworks are ok, but terrify babies, small children and dogs.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Friends of Friendship Stamp Set along with the Beauty of Friendship for the greeting and one of the sentiments.  The other sentiment comes from the Stampin’ Up! Better Places Stamp Set.  My card is a CAS(E) of one Amy Koender created.

My design for this challenge comes from the Paper Players Challenge.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of Hand Penned DSP as the background for another panel of the same DSP.

Flowers from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set are stamped using Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Basic White card stock.  The flowers and leaves are colored using Highland Heather, Polished Pink, and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers.  After I had fussy cut the flowers and leaves, I remembered there is a punch that goes with the stamp set.  Guess I needed to practice my kindergarten skills. The greeting is from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set and is stamped on a cropped circle using Soft Succulent ink.  The flowers are then arranged around the greeting using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Glue Dots. Elegant Faceted Gems are popped in the center of each flower and two others popped around the flowers.

The sentiments from Flowers of Friendship and Better Places Stamp Sets are stamped in Soft Succulent ink on the Basic White panel.  A different flower from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Highland Heather and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship

Happy Thursday!  Have a good day.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set and the Inspired Thoughts for the inside sentiment.

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge is the inspiration for this design today.

I started with a card base of Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

Four strips of Basic White card stock are cut and colored using Blending Brushes and Misty Moonlight and Soft Succulent ink.  Using a Water Painter, water is flicked over each strip and drying using a heat tool.  The panels are then adhered over the embossed panel.

A tree from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set is stamped in Soft Succulent ink for the tree and Soft Suede ink for the tree trunk.  It is cropped and popped over the narrow panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  This panel is then adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A greeting is cropped using a card from the Hand Penned Memories & More Card Pack.  Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are scattered around the card front.

The inside sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.  It is stamped in Soft Succulent ink on the Basic White card stock panel.  A  tree is stamped using Soft Succulent and Crumb Cake ink.

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned

Happy June 1, you should start making Christmas cards, one a day and you won’t be behind.  Hope your day has been grand.

The card I m sharing today is created using Hand Penned DSP and the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

Inspiration for my design comes from the Try Stampin On Tuesday Challenge.  It is a great sketch.

Start with a panel of Misty Moonlight card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. Wrap a length of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon around the embossed panel and adhered on the backside, then adhere the panel to the card base.

Cut two panels of Basic White card stock as the mats for the Hand Penned DSP. Adhere together, then adhere bother over the ribbon.  Cut a 1-3/4″ square from Pale Papaya card stock, then cut diagonally, stamp the greeting from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set, emboss using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, and pop over the Pale Papaya panel of DSP.

Fussy cut a flower from the flora panel of the DSP and pop in the diagonal piece.  Add a gem from Genial Gems by the greeting.

Flowers from Hand Penned DSP are fussy cut and popped on the bottom of a Basic White card stock panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Hand Penned DSP applied to the envelope flap.
