Stampin’ Up! Gathering Together with Amber Autumn

Stampin’ Up! Gathering Together with Amber Autumn

The card I am sharing today was created using Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn.  There is no stamp set to preview that I used in the creation.  I had stamped several of the pumpkins and acorn clusters, then loaned the stamp set to a friend, not remembering I would need it for my blog post.  Click back one post, and you can see the stamp set.  There are a few links at the bottom of the other Stack, Cut, Shuffle cards I have created.

Card Cuts:

  • Crumb Cake cardstock
    • card base — 4-1/4″ x ”  scored at 5-1/2″
  • Early Espresso cardstock
    • mat — 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Gathering Together Designer Series Paper
    • stack, cut, shuffle pieces — cut (4)  3-3/4″ x 5″  four different patterns
  • Basic White cardstock
    • circle — 4″ x 4″ for die cutting circle from the largest Stylish Shape Dies
    • pumpkins — 4″ x 4″
    • inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″

Stack all four panels of Gathering Together Designer Series Paper together to cut.  You can see the shapes in my photos of how I cut them.  I had never cut this pattern before, and I sort of like the design.  The fun of this Stack, Cut, Shuffle is that you can cut the four pieces the way you choose to get your design.  Watch for another style cut in a day or so.  As you cut, keep them stacked together, laying out in the design so it will be easier to lay out on the Early Espresso mats in a pattern. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp St is stamped in Early Espresso ink.  At the bottom, another sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Unbounded Love Stamp Set is stamped in Timid Tiger ink along with pumpkins from Stampin’ Up! Tractor & Co Stamp Set.  The panel is then adhered to the Crumb Cake card base.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of Gathering Together Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I am happy you stopped by today.  I hope you take the time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards, and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my creations with you each day. I hope and wish you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Gathering Together

Stampin’ Up! Gathering Together

The card I am sharing today is a double easel fun fold.  It is created using Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set.  I have a few more cards to create using this set, so you may be seeing it for a few more times.  This is a CASe of one of my teammates,  Tara Beth Carpenter created.

Card Cuts

  • Cajun Craze cardstock
    • card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
  • Basic Beige cardstock
    • easel step — 4-1/8″ x 9-3/8″  score at 2′ and 4″
    • embossed panel card front — 4″ x 5″ for die cut
    • inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Early Espresso cardstock
    • mat background — 4″ x 5-1/4″
    • mat inside panel — 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
    • easel steps — 1-7/8″ x 4″ (2)
  • Old Olive cardstock
    • mat — 4″ x 5-1/4″ for die cutting
  • Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper
    • background piece — 3-7/8″ ” x 5″
    • easel steps — 1-3/4″ x 3-7/8″ use two different patterns

Adhere the Basic Beige cardstock 4-1/8″ x 9-3/8″ piece to the Cajun Craze card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere the 3-7/8″ x 5″ piece of Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper to the 4″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock.  Adhere the two pieces of the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper measuring 1-3/4″ x 3-7/8″ to the 1-7/8″ x 4″ pieces of Early Espresso.  Adhere all the matted pieces to the easel.

Using the next-to-largest die from Branching Out Dies, die-cut a label from Old Olive cardstock.  Using the third largest die from the same set, die-cut a label from Basic Beige cardstock.  Emboss the label using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere the two pieces together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Die cut leaves from scraps of Crumb Cake, Crush Curry, Cajun Craze, and Olive Olive cardstock, using dies from Amber Autumn Dies.  Stamp the pumpkin image from Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set using Early Espresso ink.  Color the images using Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Crumb Cake, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.  Die-cut the colored image using a die from Amber Autumn Dies.  Arrange the leaves and pumpkins on the Basic Beige label, then adhere using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A greeting from my stash is matted on a piece of Old Olive cardstock, fussy cut, and popped on the card front.  Sequins from Traditional Sparkling Sequins are added to the card front.

This is a side view of the card.

This is how the card looks when it is opened up flat.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set is stamped in Cajun Craze ink on a Basic Beige cardstock panel. Using Cajun Craze ink, stamp a pumpkin image from the September Fall For Toile Paper Pumpkin in the lower right corner.

Adhere a piece of Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Very Vanilla envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn — Stack-Slice-Shuffle

Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn — Stack-Slice-Shuffle

This beautiful Fall card I am sharing today was created using Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set and Dies Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper is also used. I like creating Stack-Slice-Shuffle cards. You get to use up all that DSP that you will end up hoarding.

Cut three pieces of Early Espresso cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″.  These are the mats for the Stack – Cut- Shuffle pieces.  Stack the three pieces of Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper.  Look at the photo above to see how the stack is cut.  Come over from the right side about 1-1/4″. Place the piece in the track of the paper trimmer at the 1-1/4″. Swivel the piece so that there is about 3/4″ at the bottom of the piece in the track. Cut down from the 1-1/4″ to the bottom having 3/4″ at the bottom.  See photo.  Look at the photo and see how the other two pieces will be cut.

Lay the pieces out so they are still in a stack as you cut. Place a piece of each design on the Early Espresso cardstock mats.  You can see the three cards this technique can create, looking at the photo above.  Adhere the pieces to the Early Espresso cardstock mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere the Early Espresso pieces to the card bases using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The greetings are from my stash, I do not remember the stamp set, as I usually stamp a bunch of greetings to have on hand.

Stamp the pumpkin and acorn images from Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink.  Color the images using Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Darling Duckling, Pumpkin Pie, and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends.  Die-cut the images using dies from the Amber Autumn Dies.  Pop the pumpkin and leaves from the acorn image on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set in Cajun Craze ink on a Basic Beige cardstock panel.  Stamp the pumpkin image using a stamp from the September Fall For Toile Paper Pumpkin.  Adhere the piece to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Adhere a piece of Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Very Vanilla envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Toile –Thinking Of You —

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Toile –Thinking Of You —

I hope everyone is having a beautiful Fall day/evening like we are here in Georgia.  Having a heart attack watching Georgia- Alabama.  Our granddaughter graduated from Alabama, even though she is a Georgia peach, and I’ve always told her, it can be Roll Tide unless they are playing Georgia, then it is GO DAWGS!

Here I am again using Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set and Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper.  Since there is such a short time to use this stamp set and designer series paper, I want to get the best use of it while I can.

Card Cuts

  • Early Espresso cardstock
  • card base 5-1/2′ x 8-1/2″ scored at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″
  • mats for Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper — cut a strip of Early Espresso 1-1/8″, which makes cutting the pieces easier
    • 1-1/8″ x 4-1/8″
    • 1-1/8″ x 3-3/4″
    • 1-1/8″ x 3-1/4″
    • 1-1/8″ x 2-3/4″
    • 1-1/8″ x 2-1/2″
  • Basic White cardstock
    • inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
    • greeting –5/8″ x 2-1/8″
    • sentiment — 1-1/8″ x  2-1/4″
  • Gold Foil
    • inside right side — 2-1/8″ x 5-1/4″
    • mat for greeting — 3/4″ x 2-1/4″
    • mat inside sentiment –1-1/4″ x 2-3/8″
  • Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper —  cut 1″ strips for easier cutting
    • 1″ x 4″
    • 1″ x 3-5/8″
    • 1″ x 3-1/8″
    • 1″ x 2-5/8″
    • 1″ x 2-3/8″
    • inside left panel — 2″ x 5-1/4″
    • envelope flap — 2-1/4″ x 6″

Adhere the Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper to the Early Espresso cardstock mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or your preferred adhesive.  Starting at the top of the left panel, adhere each strip as shown in the image above.  There is no space between each piece.

Adhere the Gold Foil piece to the Basic White piece, then adhere it to the inside of the card base.

This is how the card looks standing.  Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Branching Out Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  Trim to 5/8″ x 2-1/8″ and adhere on the 3/4″ x 2-1/4″ Gold Foil Mat.

This is another view of how the card looks standing.

Adhere the 2″-1/4″ x 5″ piece of Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper to the inside left side.  Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  Trim to 1-1/8″ x  2-1/4″.  Mat the sentiment on the 1-1/4″ x 2-3/8″ piece of Gold Foil.

Adhere the 2-1/4″ x 6″ piece of Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The card  I am sharing today was created using Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set and Dies, plus Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper. It is a Z-fold card.  I consider it a CASe of one Amy Koenders created.  Hers was not a fun fold, but her card gave me the idea for this Z-fold fun fold.

Amber Autumn Stamp Set in Crumb Cake ink.  Color the images using Darling Duckling, Daffodile Delight, Lost Lagoon, and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.  Die-cut the images using dies from Amber Autumn Dies.  Adhere the 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ embossed piece to the 3″ x 3″ Early Espresso piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or your preferred adhesive.  Arrange the pumpkin and leaves the way you prefer on the Basic Beige embossed piece, then adhere using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Lay aside until the remainder of the cards is assembled.

Adhere the 1-7/8″ x  5-1/4″ Basic Beige cardstock and the 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper to the 1-7/8″ x 5-3/8″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock.  Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso ink on a piece of Basic Beige cardstock.  Trim and cut about as the photo above shows.  Fussy cut pumpkins from a piece of Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper and adhere to the bottom of the Basic Beige panel.
