Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments

Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments

The card I am sharing today is an easel card.  It is very easy to make.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments stamp set to create the card along with Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Hope and Peace stamp set for the greeting and sentiment.

I am entering the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge. Their theme for this challenge is Any Occasion.

I am also entering the Sketch Saturday Challenge.

To start you will need a piece of card stock cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. I used Basic White card stock.  Score at 5-1/2″ and 2-1/8″.  Fold on the 2-1/8″ score line.  This is a valley fold.  The other piece of Basic White you see in the photo is to create the easel.  It is adhered to the upper portion of the fold.  It is easier if you put the adhesive on the fold and not the panel you are attaching.

This is how the card looks when folded to creat the easel stand.

This is a side view of the easel after the panel is adhered to create the easel.  I have used clips to hold in place as I need to decorate the panel.  I put a temporary stop for the easel until the card is finished.

I stamped poinsettias in Real Red ink using an image from the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments stamp set. I cropped using dies from the coordinating dies that come with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder.  I cut a 4-18″ x 5-3/8″ panel of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper and adhered to the Basic White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a 2-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ panel from a different design and adhered over the red one.  I wrapped a length of gold ribbon around the panel adhered in the back using tape.  The poinsettia and all the fussy cut leaves and twigs are arranged over the ribbon and adhered with either Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hope and Peace stamp set is stamped in Real Red ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut and popped on the card front.  The card front is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A different design of the Designer Series Paper is adhered to the inside and the stop for the easel is created by stamping a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Hope and Peace stamp set on a piece of Basic White card stock and cropping using a die from the Stylish Shapes Dies.  Stampin’ Dimensionals are popped on the back and it is adhered onto the Mossy Meadow panel creating the stop for the easel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! This Birthday Pig

Stampin’ Up! This Birthday Pig

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! This Birthday Piggy stamp set and Dies.

I started with a Balmy Blue card stock card base.  You can see how the base is cut from the diagram below.  There is also a base piece that the card is attached to for stability.  This fun fold is a case of one of Lisa Curcio’s.  You can find her on YouTube with all the instructions.  I am sure her instructions will be much better to understand than these, but hope you are able to understand mine.

Cut the Balmy Blue card stock 4″ x 9-3/4″.  Score at 5-1/4″ and 3″  down to the cut line.

Line up on the short end to cut between the 3″ & 7-1/2″ marks.  It should be 7-1/2″ not 7″ as in the info in the picture above.  You can find card cuts at the end of this post to cut dimensions for mats and Designer Series Paper.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of the Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbird with Happy Forest Friends

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbird with Happy Forest Friends

The card I am sharing today is a fun fold.  I always love creating fun folds.  I used Stampin’ Up! Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds Stamp set along with  Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set for the greeting.

I am entering the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge.  Their theme for this challenge is Birthdays.

I am also entering the Creative Creases Challenge as my card is a fun fold.

Start with a Basic White card stock card base cut at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score this panel of Basic White card stock at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″.  Cut a piece of Calypso Coral card stock 2′ x 5-1/4″  to use as a mat for the 1-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper.  Adhere the two pieces together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then adhere to the inside right panel.

Cut a panel of Soft Suede card stock 3-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ as a mat for the plaid piece of Rings of Love Designer Series Paper. Adhere together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhere to the left front panel. Be sure to put the adhesive inside the 2″ area so as not to get glue on the other portion and glue it to your inside panel.

Cut a panel of Calypso Coral card stock 4-3/4″ x 7″ scoring at 3-1/2″.  Adhere this panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the inside of the card base.  See the picture above for placement.  Cut a panel of Basic White card stock  3-3/8″ x 4-5/8″ as your sentiment panel.  Stamp sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds stamp set in Calypso Coral ink onto the Basic White panel.  Fussy cut the bear, tree, and birds and adhere them to the panel.  Add two Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to the panel.

The front of the small Calypso Coral card portion gets a panel adhered using Designer Series Paper from Happy Forest Friends cut 3″ x4″.  It is matted on a panel of Soft Suede card stock cut 3-1/8″ x 4-1/8″.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles is stamped in Calypso Coral ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut, and matted on a scrap of Soft Suede card stock.  It is popped on the art panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots are popped around the card front.

I am entering the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I choose the bottom row across but added Fall Colors and a Wreath.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base.  I cut panels of Blackberry Bliss card stock for the four mats.  I cut two pieces of Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper, matting them on the Blackberry Bliss card stock.  I cut a panel of Basic White card stock, embossed it using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder, and matted it on one of the Blackberry Bliss card stock mats.

Using foliage stamps and a flower stamp from Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints stamp set. I used Calypso Coral ink for the flower, Garden Green ink for the fern, and Blackberry Bliss ink for the other foliage.  I cropped them using dies from Nature’s  Prints Dies.  I also cropped sprigs from Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral card stock.  The wreath die is cropped from Basic White car stock.

All the panels of Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper is adhered to the Blackberry Bliss card stock mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  You can see the order in which they are adhered to the card base in the photo above.

The Basic White embossed panel is adhered over the Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper.  All the foliage is arranged and adhered with either Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Song stamp set is stamped on a scrap of Basic White card stock, matted on a scrap of Blackberry Bliss card stock and popped on the card from.  Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots are popped around the card front.  A bow is made using Calypso Coral ribbon (retired) and popped on the foliage stems.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up!
